I've Already Snagged a Top-tier Goddess at the Start; I'm Incredibly Wealthy!

137: Xia Rushuang’s energyCao Lang spent seven days unleashing his talent to the fullest, only then managing to suppress the surging inspiration within him.

After sending all the results to Li Na, he didn’t need to worry about the rest.

He acknowledged Li Na’s work ability, but filming and producing a movie would certainly require a large amount of capital.

Cao Lang had originally intended to send some money to Li Na, but to his surprise, during the seven days he was in seclusion, ”urban tycoon” had already raked in over 2 billion, and many short drama actors had exploded in popularity along with it!

According to expert predictions, ”urban tycoon” could bring in at least 5 billion in profit.

Now, Xingyao Media was earning a fortune and had established its reputation; filming a movie was absolutely no problem!

This phenomenal short drama completely boosted the popularity of the Chonglang Short Video platform. To date, the app’s downloads had surpassed thirty million and were still growing!

Chonglang Short Video was filled with beautiful women, and new registrants received traffic support. A large number of wealthy and handsome men also took notice of the ecosystem here and registered one after another.

In an instant, Chonglang Short Video became a gathering place for handsome men and beautiful women.

Relatively speaking, TikTok headquarters was also facing a formidable enemy!

Previously, the TikTok board of directors had resolved not to interfere with Xingyao Media’s trending status, but they hadn’t expected the extent of Xingyao Media’s popularity to far exceed their imagination!

Seeing that the situation was unfavorable, TikTok executives planned to suppress Xingyao Media from the backend, but the effect of the suppression was negligible!

Xingyao Media’s traffic remained consistently high!

Later, it even led the entire company’s programmers to work emergency overtime to troubleshoot system failures. Finally, they performed a major system upgrade, yet they still couldn’t solve the bug.

Cao Lang’s Trojan horse virus was simply too advanced, exceeding their ability to resolve it!

Up until now, the TikTok executives were still frowning and at their wits’ end, working around the clock to identify where the problem lay.

When Cao Lang opened his own TikTok, he was dumbfounded.

Over ten million private messages were packed densely together.

There weren’t just women; there were also many men!

There weren’t just Chinese people, but also foreigners!

It was no exaggeration to say that Cao Lang’s personal IP was so popular that it drove the development of the entire industry chain.

To get some peace, Cao Lang went to the study and adjusted the TikTok algorithm back to normal, no longer boosting traffic for Xingyao Media!

Besides, if he continued to boost it endlessly, it would cause aesthetic fatigue among the audience.

A full cup spills, and a full moon wanes; he still understood this principle.

At the same time.

TikTok headquarters was surprised to find that the problem they had been unable to solve had suddenly recovered on its own!

This also became the highest secret of the TikTok company. The executives once thought that perhaps the algorithm had undergone self-iteration!

However!

Xingyao Media was also completely blacklisted by TikTok. Their practice of combining ”urban tycoon” with the Chonglang Short Video platform was clearly driving traffic to a competitor.

And the instigator of all this, the biggest beneficiary, was the IP of Cao Lang.

The shareholders behind TikTok all had decent business vision and could roughly see the layout behind the scenes!

Xingyao Media’s ambition was not in TikTok, but rather in supporting and developing its own short video ecosystem.

If not suppressed, in the future, everyone who wanted to see beautiful women would go to Chonglang Short Video, and TikTok’s beauty market would suffer a major impact!

This absolutely could not be allowed to happen!

The TikTok think tank suggested an immediate ban.

The commercial wars between capital were just that plain and simple.

Remembering the war between green bubble and Taobao, the product links shared by Taobao couldn’t even be copy-pasted on green bubble’s side.

During the war between Tencent and 361, they even only allowed users to keep one software on their computers!

The purpose of all this was to hinder the opponent’s development.

So the TikTok high-level management made a decision!

Any video that directed traffic to the Chonglang software would be set to ’visible only to self’.

To put it bluntly, they just wouldn’t let you promote anymore!

Some media companies in the film industry were also jealous of the explosion of short dramas produced by Xingyao Media. They colluded together, with Qins Media as their representative, and announced: All film and television bases will blacklist Xingyao Media without exception.

The film and television bases wouldn’t let you film movies either!

Let’s see what you do now!

Just as the capitalists were colluding to exert pressure,

something unexpected happened!

Suddenly, a document came down from above, explicitly requiring all enterprises to study it seriously.

[Xingyao Media has been rated as a National Outstanding Cultural Enterprise, receiving special policy support, and is hailed as a National Corporate Culture Star!]

...The Xia Family.

Xia Rushuang was wearing a long white dress, her whole being exuding a celestial aura like a goddess descended to earth, as she supported Old Master Xia for a walk in the garden.

”Hehe, Rushuang, this Cao Lang you mentioned is indeed a talent.”

Old Master Xia leaned on a dragon-headed cane, wearing a simple Mao suit. Although his hair was touched with frost, his entire being was tempered with the sharpness of years; even when his eyes were lowered, he possessed an aura of majesty without being angry.

”Yes, Grandpa, Cao Lang is very capable. He not only saved me but is also an outstanding entrepreneur.”

These past few days, Xia Rushuang had frequently praised Cao Lang in front of her grandfather.

”Mm, do you think I don’t know your little thoughts? From what I know, the Qin Group has been making things difficult for this Xingyao Media you mentioned. The two companies have had some unpleasantness over the matter of filming a movie.”

”Also, lately, various software platforms have been suppressing the traffic of that Chonglang.”

”I still know a bit about these life-and-death struggles, cough cough.”

Old Master Xia stopped by the pond, looking at the meter-long red koi at his feet. His eyes were full of the passage of time as he said leisurely,

”Just minor squabbles.”

He had a top-tier think tank by his side. For anything happening across the country, he only needed to give a slight indication, and he would naturally understand everything clearly.

When he investigated the source of that brat Cao Lang’s funds, he found that all of the boy’s massive capital came from overseas stock trading—clean money earned from foreign stocks!

On this point alone, Old Master Xia’s favorable impression of Cao Lang increased manifold!

Using funds from the other side of the ocean to support local industries.

A true entrepreneur of the people.

Thus, with a single word from Old Master Xia, his secretary drafted a document and sent it down to all corporate departments, calling on everyone to learn from the corporate cultural spirit of Xingyao Media.

This move didn’t seem like a big deal, just a regular symposium.

But the signal it sent on the surface made a group of capital moguls break into a cold sweat.

Some measures targeting Xingyao Media and Chonglang Short Video were abandoned before they could even be implemented.

Moreover, they now had to curry favor with Xingyao Media.

At this moment, Xingyao Media had officially entered the market and would no longer be harassed by various monsters and demons.

After Xia Rushuang found out, she giggled and took Old Master Xia’s arm to watch the koi together.

For Old Master Xia, having his granddaughter’s strange illness cured was a great thing.

At this moment, he only needed to enjoy the happiness of family; everything else was just a casual effort... Warm tip: The website will be revised soon, which may cause loss of reading progress.
