**Chapter 888: The Limit of the Undead Army, Transforming into a Meat Shield**

The second-stage True God-level wild beast rampaged within the encirclement of the undead army. Its fur lashed out like a whip, each strike bursting with astonishing power. Mysterious laws entwined around it, making its attacks incredibly powerful. Any skeleton struck by the whip would immediately shatter into pieces. However, in the next second, under the effect of the [Undying Undead] spell, the shattered skeletons quickly reassembled and returned to their original state.

The second-stage True God-level wild beast’s attack power had already reached the limit that the skeletons could endure. Lin Muyu’s heart stirred, and the skeletons retreated, replaced by Death Knights and Skeletal Dragons. In terms of defense, the Death Knights and Skeletal Dragons were much stronger than the skeletons, barely withstanding the wild beast’s attacks. As long as they weren’t killed in one hit, the Lich General could quickly heal them.

In this way, no matter how frenzied the wild beast’s attacks were, it couldn’t break free from the encirclement of the undead army, let alone threaten Lin Muyu. Lin Muyu seemed to understand another purpose of this assessment. “It seems to be demonstrating the attack methods of various races to me.” “Although the Human Emperor Network also has corresponding information, simulating battles requires a fee.” “But now, this opportunity is free.”

Lin Muyu’s lips curled up slightly. Such a free opportunity should not be wasted. Thirty minutes passed in the blink of an eye. The wild beast disappeared, and Lin Muyu began preparing for the next assessment. In the next round, he would face a third-stage True God-level enemy. The attack power of a third-stage True God would completely exceed the limit that the undead army could endure. However, after a brief consideration, Lin Muyu still decided to use the encirclement tactic of the undead army. He wanted to see the limit of the undead army. Could a third-stage True God completely break his undead army?

“Second round, twelfth test: Kill the enemy in front of you or survive for 30 minutes without being killed.”

A figure appeared before him, wings spread wide, dimming the starlight and giving Lin Muyu a sense of being overshadowed. “Vampire!” This person looked exactly like the vampires he had seen before, but taller and with larger wings. As he appeared, the starlight seemed to carry a scent of blood.

**[Vampire]**

**[Level: True God Realm]**

**[Characteristics: Vampires can combine their own blood with the blood of other races to create blood slaves. Be careful not to be bitten by their fangs.]**

The vampire attacked the moment he appeared. He flapped his wings, scattering countless blades formed by laws, each blade extremely powerful. His attack power completely exceeded the limit that the undead army could endure, and it did not trigger the full connection talent, allowing him to directly kill the undead army. Even the Skeletal Dragons couldn’t withstand his attacks. The undead army fell like wheat, but in the next second, they revived completely intact. The [Undying Undead] spell star shone brightly, continuously operating. Each skeleton had five chances to resurrect within three minutes. Only on the sixth death would they truly die.

Lin Muyu had anticipated this, so he remained calm, just watching quietly. Soon, a batch of the undead army completed their mission, collapsing on the sixth death. A large number of light spots disappeared from the summoning spell star. At least over a hundred thousand undead truly died. However, only five minutes had passed since the test began. At this rate, by the end of the test, at least half of the undead army would be dead. Lin Muyu was testing the limit, not sending them to their deaths. With a thought, he summoned a new Skeletal God Warrior. The spell linkage mechanism was activated, and eight spell stars lit up simultaneously. In an instant, Skeletal God Warriors, Death Knights, and Skeletal Dragons continuously appeared at an astonishing speed. The entire process was automatic, without Lin Muyu needing to lift a finger.

The first replenishment of the undead army was very effective. Another batch of the undead army was killed, but the newly summoned undead quickly filled the gap. The replenishment speed was so fast that it was only slightly slower than the vampire’s killing speed. The vampire killed quickly, but Lin Muyu replenished just as fast. By the end of the 30 minutes, the undead army had hardly decreased. The test was very effective, and Lin Muyu was very satisfied. The undead army could fight while replenishing, with a very high limit.

“Let’s try a fourth-stage True God!” Lin Muyu thought, preparing to see if he could withstand the power of a fourth-stage True God. He had turned this test into his own experimental ground. During the ten-minute wait, the undead army was fully replenished, returning to its full strength of 1.49 million. Soon, a new opponent appeared before him. A fourth-stage True God-level opponent appeared in the starry sky. This time, it was a demon. Not the kind from the Abyss World, but a true demon.

**[Demon Race]**

**[Level: True God Realm]**

**[Characteristics: Possessing demon bloodline, their combat power is top-notch among their peers.]**

The demon’s combat power was very strong, almost invincible among its peers. After appearing, it stared at Lin Muyu through the undead army. The demon’s gaze was fierce, filled with bloodlust and cruelty. The Human Emperor Network was too realistic, almost identical to a real demon. The demon roared angrily, throwing a punch. The starry sky shook violently, and a massive fist appeared, covering the sky. With one punch, nearly half of the undead army was killed. Lin Muyu’s heart skipped a beat. The power of this punch was beyond his imagination. The difference between a fourth-stage True God and a third-stage True God was enormous. Or perhaps it was because the opponent was a demon, making the difference so vast.

The dead undead revived in the next second, but the demon’s second and third punches followed immediately. The newly revived undead army was killed again. Lin Muyu’s expression changed completely. At this rate, the undead army wouldn’t last a few minutes. The demon’s killing power had completely exceeded the limit that the undead army could endure. The killing speed was too fast for him to replenish. The wings of the undead flapped, and Lin Muyu flew up, transforming into a meat shield to block the demon’s attacks for the undead army. The demon’s original target was Lin Muyu. Seeing him approach, it launched a fierce attack. The undead army quickly dispersed, and the Lich General rapidly healed them. Lin Muyu’s intervention immediately stabilized the situation.

Lin Muyu’s defense was much stronger than the undead army’s. After multiple layers of weakening, the demon’s attacks could no longer cause the undead army to collapse simultaneously. The Lich General had enough time to heal them. Lin Muyu cast Bone Armor on himself. The Bone Armor activated the spell linkage. In an instant, the demon was surrounded by white light. Bone Prison, Bone Fangs, and Bone Spears continuously appeared on its body. As long as it attacked Lin Muyu, the bone spells’ counterattacks wouldn’t stop. Lin Muyu was like a porcupine; if you touched him, you would get hurt. Although the bone spells couldn’t harm the demon, they could at least cause some disturbance. Besides that, Lin Muyu used various other spells in turn.

However, the difference in levels was too great, more than one major realm and three minor realms. Lin Muyu’s attacks had no effect on the demon. Lin Muyu was also certain that a fourth-stage True God’s attacks couldn’t kill him either.
