Help! The Villainess Trapped in the Beast World's Drama!

Chapter 696: Chapter 610: Find Someone More Worthy of Entrustment

A great upheaval occurred in the Eternal Winter Empire, and the Northern Ice Field was the first place to suffer.

Glaciers cracked, snow-capped mountains collapsed.

The beastmen who had lived on the icefield for years were all fleeing in panic.

In a valley on the verge of collapse, a nimble white wolf led the group out at full speed.

The supplies and rations on their backs had long fallen off almost entirely, but no one had time to pick them up. The snow-capped mountains behind were collapsing at a terrifying speed; a single step too slow, and they would be swallowed by a thousand feet of ice and snow, leaving no corpses!

Whenever an avalanche was about to overtake the beastmen, an ice wall would always appear in time to block the rolling snow waves.

But even the mighty strength of a Tenth Rank Beastman seemed powerless in the face of this apocalyptic disaster.

The sturdy ice walls would hold out for no more than a few seconds before shattering with a crash!

Yet even just a few seconds were enough to gain the beastmen precious time to escape.

The leading Silver Wolf was Yun Han, who was leading all the city’s inhabitants in flight, his body was already riddled with scars, all left from battles with the Ice Beasts and Mutant Beasts.

The icefield beneath their feet trembled violently once again.

This time, the shaking was far more intense than before!

The ground split open with countless fissures, and whole slabs of ice even collapsed, revealing a bottomless abyss. A beastman nearly fell in, but was luckily pulled back by a companion nearby, keeping him from being swallowed.

But the shaking not only didn’t stop, it grew stronger.

A massive fissure suddenly tore open in the mountain range ahead.

Then, a colossal beast over ten meters high, covered in ice crystals, emerged, madly attacking everything around it.

A learned old man recognized it, his face turning deathly pale, ”How is this possible... it’s the Earth Vein Illusion Beast!”

His voice trembled with fear, showing the terror of this creature.

Someone frantically asked, ”What is that?”

The old man suppressed his trembling and explained with difficulty, ”The earth is not a dead thing. If you think of this continent as a living being, then the earth veins are its blood vessels. The five great earth veins are the most important main branches, also containing the power of the earth... But now, I can feel this power becoming frenzied, and the outflowing energy has manifested as this kind of Illusion Beast!”

”It has lost control and gone mad, it carries the anger of this continent! It wants to destroy everything!”

The hearts of the group surged with fear. Though they didn’t understand why this was happening, with the glaciers collapsing faster and faster, they didn’t have time to think. They could only desperately run forward.

The Snowfield Illusion Beast noticed this group of beastmen and slammed down with its hand, as heavy as the Five Finger Mountain.

”Go west!” Yun Han shouted, leading the group to another path.

”Ah—!” A scream came from behind.

A beastman, exhausted, fell to the ground, unable to get up on the ravine-riddled ice, and the collapsing ice and snow behind was rolling down, poised to bury her completely within seconds!

A taller Wolf Beast let out a painful howl, ”Sister!”

Someone recognized her, ”It’s Gong Yao!”

The fallen Wolf Beast had a more slender figure, clearly a female.

But in this life-and-death moment, even if she was a precious female, it was useless, everyone was struggling to protect themselves, no one could save her.

Even if she were saved, what then? In a long and grueling escape, weaker beastmen would inevitably fail to keep up.

At this moment, only by abandoning the weak could they best ensure the survival of the tribe.

Just as everyone was preparing to abandon her and continue fleeing, a silver figure suddenly charged back.

At the moment of the ice and snow collapse, an ice wall appeared out of thin air, temporarily blocking the snow tide. Yun Han picked up the female and tossed her onto his back, dashing out like a silver lightning bolt.

Almost simultaneously as they escaped, the ice wall collapsed, snow and rocks fell, triggering a snow fog dozens of meters high.

Yun Han rushed on, breathing heavily, with the female on his back catching up with the group.

He focused on the path ahead, unaware of the female’s abnormal state. She clung weakly to his neck with one hand and curled up with the other hand on her stomach, her face pale, biting her lip hard.

Even though her lips were about to bleed from biting, she didn’t make a sound, unwilling to become a burden to the group.

But soon, Yun Han sensed something was amiss, with a wet feeling spreading along his back and a scent of blood reaching his nose.

Beside him, the white wolf Gong Ge shouted in panic, ”Sister, what’s wrong? There’s blood on your dress!”

Yun Han hurriedly slowed down and stopped, turning to look. The scent of blood was indeed coming from the female. Her dress was stained with a patch of blood, and as they bumped along, the bloodstain continued to spread.

She was injured?!

The blood seemed to be... flowing from below.

Someone screamed, ”This, this female wouldn’t be pregnant, would she?”

What?

Yun Han and Gong Ge were taken aback.

There was an experienced old doctor within the group who quickly stepped forward to examine her. The situation was urgent, and there was no time to worry about discomforts.

Soon, with a grave expression, she said, ”Why didn’t anyone mention this young female is pregnant? It seems it’s been over half a month, with such a fright, it’s a sign of a miscarriage!”

The doctor, both anxious and angry, pulled out medication from her portable space to stabilize the fetus, ”If this persists, the child certainly won’t survive, and maybe not even the mother...”

”You males are too careless! Whose child is this that no one is taking better care, letting a pregnant female endure such hardship? Almost cost her life!”

Listening to the doctor, Yun Han’s striking, deep face filled with shock, ears buzzing as if unable to hear anything, with even the sound of the avalanche becoming distant, freezing the entire world for a moment.

Gong Ge was equally dumbfounded. He had no idea about this, his sister had never mentioned it.

Moreover, she was only pregnant for over half a month, and the situation was so chaotic, no one had noticed.

Yun Han’s Adam’s apple moved, ”Whose child is she carrying?”

Gong Ge glared at the captain he once regarded as a heavenly god, who had saved both him and his sister, now so angry that his eyes were red, almost wanting to kick him, a low growl escaping from his throat, ”My sister has only ever liked you and been with you, whose child could it be!”

Like a thunderbolt striking.

The surrounding beastmen revealed expressions of surprise, never knowing there was this kind of relationship between the two!

No wonder Yun Han had been particularly caring towards Gong Yao and her sibling along the way.

Yun Han’s breathing suddenly quickened, transforming into his human form, gently placing the female on the ground.

She had already fainted from the pain.

Her snow-white hair was disheveled, sweat covered her forehead, her face devoid of color, her dress tinged with mottled bloodstains.

Yun Han clenched his fists tightly, veins bulging on his arms.

She was pregnant.

With his child...

Why at this very moment...

I’m sorry...

He reached out with trembling hands, wanting to touch her face. But the earth shook violently again, and a terrifying pressure swiftly approached.

The Icefield Illusion Beast had caught up! With every step it took, mountains crumbled and ice rivers flowed backward! More terrifying still, a large number of Ice Beasts and Mutant Beasts emerged, surrounding them completely.

The Earth Vein Illusion Beast was less than a hundred meters away!

At such a close distance, its enormous body cast a shadow that completely enveloped everyone.

Every beastman present was ashen-faced, bodies uncontrollably stiff and trembling, clearly sensing the terrifying aura emanating from the Illusion Beast.

This was a Hell Dominator Level creature.

Even Yun Han had never faced such strength!

”It’s over, we can’t escape!”

”Today we’ll all die here!”

They had no way out.

The beastmen had been running for so long that they no longer knew where to go, with only despair filling their hearts.

Determination flashed in Yun Han’s eyes.

He quickly placed the female on Gong Ge’s back and removed the Light Computer from his wrist, placing it on Gong Yao’s wrist. It contained precious supplies and medicines, all given to them.

He said to Gong Ge, ”Take care of her... and find someone more worthy of her trust.”

Gong Ge’s heart tightened, trying to stop him, ”Captain, what are you going to do?”

”Go! Keep moving forward, don’t look back!” Yun Han conjured an ice wall, separating them, as he turned into his Silver Wolf form, charging directly at the Icefield Illusion Beast.

Only by him stalling this giant beast could they have a slim chance of survival.

In the entire group, only Yun Han had that ability.
