Chapter 24: Chapter 24 Flowing Blade Like Fire, Sword Master!

Quickly!

The chefs, the ones who ran away ran away, the ones who broke down broke down.

At this moment!

Zeff and Sanji also looked at Raynor.

But there was no fear shown in their eyes.

Because they believe!

If Raynor says it, he can do it.

And under everyone’s gaze!

Raynor boldly stepped on the rail.

He jumped onto the deck where Hawk Eye stands.

[Ding! Detected host triggered event, new mission unlocked, please make a choice.]

[Choice 1: Kneel to Hawk Eye and beg for mercy, gain 1,000 all‑stat experience points.]

[Choice 2: Wound Hawk Eye, gain 800 all‑stat experience, and also receive a forging diagram for the ultimate great cleaver, Congyun Cutter.]

Hearing that...

Raynor didn’t need to choose at all.

That 200‑point difference in experience is nothing compared to the Congyun Cutter blueprint!

It’s not worth mentioning.

Raynor chose to wound Hawk Eye without hesitation.

But!

Mihawk is the world’s top swordsman, beating him is not easy.

But it’s not impossible to try.

However!

He still lacks a world‑class sword that can match the great swordsman!

”System, start forging the Soul‑Cut Blade — Flowing Blade Like Fire!”

After doing many missions!

Raynor’s storage bag has collected a lot of forging materials!

And before that!

He already got the design diagram for Flowing Blade Like Fire!

Raynor believes!

With Flowing Blade Like Fire, hurting Hawk Eye shouldn’t be hard!

After all!

It’s the strongest and oldest fire‑type Zanpakuto, with the highest attack power among fire Zanpakuto!

[Ding! Flowing Blade Like Fire forging started, successfully extracted the Soul‑Cut Blade forging diagram!]

[Ding! Materials for the Soul‑Cut Blade are ready, beginning smelting!]

[Ding! Soul‑Cut Blade forged successfully, placed into the Universal Treasure Mirror!]

The system’s mechanical voice kept ringing!

Soon!

Flowing Blade Like Fire was forged!

And now he has a handy weapon!

Raynor felt more confident, he slowly raised his head and said to Hawk Eye:

”Hawk Eye!”

”I think I just said your legend is about to end.”

”If you can accept defeat, then go ahead and strike first.”

Seeing Raynor so calm...

In Hawk Eye’s eyes!

A rare serious expression appeared, then he pulled out the small knife he once used against Zoro.

”You want to force me to use my demon blade!”

”It depends if you have the skill.”

Hearing that, Raynor stopped talking, ”System, extract the Soul‑Cut Blade!”

Then!

Raynor now had a dark red blade in his hand.

Flames twisted around the blade.

As soon as he released it!

It seemed a fire beast was roasting within, as if countless angry souls were trapped inside.

Raynor swung down, and the flames on the Soul‑Cut Blade vanished instantly.

What appeared then...

Was an ordinary‑looking samurai sword.

Hawk Eye’s eyes were shocked instantly!

Though it looked like a normal samurai sword, he could tell at a glance that it was far from simple.

Its rank!

Not at all lower than the supreme great cleaver.

It even seemed a rank higher than the demon blade Night behind him.

Seeing this...

Hawk Eye’s expression turned sour.

”Your blade is good, but I wonder if the swordsman has insulted it.”

As soon as he finished speaking!

Hawk Eye’s small knife was already in position.

Raynor held his blade across his front, then activated his rabbit‑like speed, dashing to stand in front of Hawk Eye.

Hawk Eye’s eyes widened in shock!

He didn’t even see Raynor’s movement path!

Raynor flashed in front of him; this speed was beyond even his reach.

Raynor struck with one slash!

Hawk Eye had to block with all his strength.

But the small knife in his hand still flew out.

Now Hawk Eye realized!

He had underestimated.

He was tossed backward instantly, but Raynor gave him no chance to catch breath.

The speed was breathtaking.

On another deck, Zoro and Luffy watched, their jaws almost dropping.

Didn’t expect Raynor!

Could actually trade blows with the world’s top swordsman.

Not right!

It should be said he was constantly pressing the top swordsman.

Hawk Eye had no strength to counter.

He tried to draw the demon blade Night behind him!

But he could never find a chance.

Then!

Raynor flashed behind Hawk Eye, and his Soul‑Cut Blade instantly sliced a line of flame.

”Hawk Eye, that early mistake will haunt you forever!”

Hearing that!

Hawk Eye’s pupils narrowed, he quickly flipped backward to avoid the lethal strike!

But Raynor’s strike...

Cut the deck under Hawk Eye’s feet in two.

Both were forced...

They could only fight standing on the water surface, giving Hawk Eye a brief chance to breathe.

Look!

Hawk Eye stepped on the water and flew backward, pulling out the demon blade Night with his right hand!

Clang!

Demon blade Night clashed with Raynor’s Soul‑Cut Blade.

In an instant!

Red and black gas clouds appeared, instantly blasting the surrounding seawater up thousands of meters high.

This magnificent force!

It instantly pushed the sea‑side restaurant Barati hundreds of meters away, almost dropping everyone on the ship into the sea!

Everyone was terrified.

Didn’t expect Raynor to be so strong!

He actually fought the top swordsman to a tie.

Those spectators!

Only saw the surface of the fight.

But Zoro and Luffy...

Could see that the battle was not simple.

”Not enough, this level is insufficient, Raynor is in danger!”

Zoro’s eyes always had a hint of worry.

Hearing that!

Usopp didn’t quite understand.

It looks like Raynor is the one pressing Hawk Eye.

How can they say Raynor is in danger?

He thought...

Usopp then looked at Luffy.

Luffy’s face was also serious.

He clung to the rail with both hands, staring tightly at the fight.

Then Luffy calmly said:

”Zoro is right, this level is far from enough.”

As soon as he finished speaking.

Hawk Eye quickly stepped back, showed a wicked smile, and the demon blade Night burst forward instantly.

The two, who were even before,

instantly separated.

The next second!

Hawk Eye swung Night, delivering a powerful black slash toward Raynor.

Raynor quickly tried to block with Flowing Blade Like Fire.

The surrounding seawater!

instantly rose a thousand feet high.

The next second!

Hawk Eye’s figure appeared above Raynor.

Night swung down fiercely.

Raynor blocked again!

But it seemed hard; Hawk Eye’s attack speed kept increasing.

Raynor could only passively block!

Raynor went from attacking to just taking hits!

The contrast was huge.

But thinking about it makes sense.

The opponent is the world‑recognised great swordsman!

Hawk Eye Mihawk!

If he were easily handled by an East Blue pirate!

That would truly be tragic!

Clang!

Their swords clashed!

Hawk Eye pressed down hard!

Raynor’s ankle sank into the water, struggling to stay upright.

”Kid, I admit you’re strong. With time you’ll surpass me, but I must remind you, being too rigid will break easily!”

As soon as he finished speaking!

Mihawk’s eyes flickered, then he tightened his wrist.

Night was immediately wrapped in black aura, and the next moment it forced Raynor into the water.

At that moment!

Raynor quickly slashed with the Soul‑Cut Blade to the side.

A strong current surged upward, its wave pushing Hawk Eye rapidly backward!
