Multiple notifications echoed from the system. But Oliver was already asleep, resting on Husk’s back as he carried him. They had exited the dungeon and were now on their way home.

Husk could not help but smile as he saw Oliver’s peaceful expression in his sleep.

’It seems he is having a good dream. He has finally let go of his struggles, and now, his growth will surely explode.’

Maybe because of the system, Husk could feel a glimpse of his master’s emotions. At first, he had wanted to intervene, afraid it might disrupt Oliver’s development. But now, it seemed there was no need.

”Thank you... Husk. I love you...” Oliver murmured in his sleep.

”Hmph! What a brat.” Husk smiled widely.

After thirty minutes, they arrived home. Oliver had already woken up.

”Shoot! My shirt and pants are full of holes, and I am wounded all over. My mother will surely beat me to death if she sees me like this.” Oliver started to panic.

”Well, good luck, kid. I want to rest.” Husk returned to the system. Oliver thanked him beforehand.

Oliver slowly tiptoed toward his house.

First, he peeked into the kitchen through the window. No one. Then he checked the back. Also no one. He entered the house and noticed it was empty.

”Lucky! It seems Mom and Tamera must have gone to the market. Now I just need to find where Mom keeps her traditional herb cream.”

He rummaged through the first aid box, but it was not there. He searched other places where she might have kept it, but still found nothing.

”Haissh! Where did Mom keep the meds?” Oliver placed his hands on his waist.

”What are you looking for?”

”Mom’s traditional herbs. I do not know where she put them.”

”Here.” The herbs were suddenly placed in his hand.

”Thank you --”

He froze. Slowly, he turned around and saw Tamera, their maid, staring at him with a sharp expression. Although no one could beat his mother when she was truly angry, Tamera was not far behind.

”Kiyaak!”

”What happened to you, Oliver? Where did you get all these injuries? Come here, I want to take a look.”

”Errr... I was just playing with my friends when I fell on the ground. It is just a scratch.” Oliver tried to back away.

”No! Do not move. Take off your shirt.” Tamera grabbed him and struggled as she forced him to stay still.

”Help! I am being assaulted!”

”What are you talking about?!” Tamera shouted.

After that, Tamera cleaned all the wounds on Oliver’s body. She worked gently, so it was not painful. Her face was very close to his, and he could not help but blush.

’Her face is too close... and she smells really nice.’

Tamera tucked her red hair behind her ear, making Oliver blush even more.

’And she is cute too! Why the hell was I reborn as a kid? If I were an adult now, I would have already asked her to marry me.’ Oliver thought. From the outside, he was ten years old, but inside, he was already close to thirty.

”Hmm? Why is your face red? Do you have a fever?” Tamera placed her hand on Oliver’s cheek and forehead.

’Ahh... her hand is so soft.’

”No. Your body feels fine.”

”Alright. Thank you, Tamera. All my wounds are already cleaned. Now I want to take a shower.” Oliver started to walk away when suddenly his hand was pulled.

He looked down and saw Tamera was holding him. Then he looked up at her. Her purplish eyes shimmered under the light, looking straight at him.

”Gulp!”

”All these wounds... this is definitely not from falling down. You are lying. Tell me, where did you go?” Tamera crouched down and looked straight into Oliver’s eyes. Oliver averted his gaze.

’I would be stupid to think I can lie to Tamera. She is too sharp. Do I have no choice but to tell her everything?’ Oliver was in a dilemma. It seemed Tamera would not let him go until he told the truth.

’However, sooner or later, everyone will know about this. So I think it will not hurt to tell her first.’

Oliver took a deep breath in and out.

”Actually... I went... to a dungeon,” Oliver said slowly.

”Oh my god!” Tamera was shocked. She grabbed Oliver by the shoulders tightly.

”Which dungeon? With whom?” she asked, her face filled with disbelief.

”Errr... I went to Scaldrill Mine... err... by myself.” Oliver scratched his cheek.

”Oh my... what are you thinking, Oliver? Tell me, since when did you start going to dungeons?”

”Err... since the last two days?”

’As I thought. He must be really frustrated about failing the taming ritual, so he started putting himself in danger. The day he went missing... he was also found near a dungeon.’ Tamera thought.

She took a deep breath and calmed herself. ”Oliver, tell me, why are you going to dungeons? You know it is dangerous, right? You can only enter a dungeon after becoming a... tamer. Fortunately, nothing worse happened to you.”

She then pulled Oliver into a hug.

The soft bosom of the young woman pressed against Oliver’s cheek, leaving him completely flustered.

’Hehehe! It is time for a surprise.’ Oliver smirked.

”Tamera, actually I want to show you something. Can you follow me?”

”Huh? Alright.”

They moved inside the house, near the kitchen.

”What do you want to show me?”

”Before that, will you promise not to tell anyone, including Father and Mom?”

”Hmmm... fine. I promise.” Tamera wondered what she was about to see.

Oliver extended his hand forward.

”Summon!”

A large magical array appeared beneath Oliver, spreading across the entire kitchen floor. Tamera was shocked and immediately stepped back.

”A summoning circle? And this size?” she gasped. Usually, a summoning circle was at most one meter in radius, but this one stretched nearly five meters.

Red particles gathered before materializing into a creature in front of Oliver.

”Why are you calling me, kid? I just one second away from deep sleep,” Husk was annoyed.

”N-no way! You can summon a monster? And, and it can talk?” The shock was too much for Tamera, and she fainted.
