“What did you say?!” GM Liu was on the verge of breaking down. “Good situation! It’s a good situation! The situation was advantageous to our Feng Yun website earlier?! We have already gained the upper hand against Zhong Dian website. What happened! What caused this to happen?!”

“GM Liu, it’s… it’s because…” The secretary gulped and said, “It’s because of Hong Dali. Hong Dali presented important evidence. There is no way to reverse the situation. Let’s… find another way out…”

“Evidence?! Still, it shouldn’t be that serious!” GM Liu anxiously said. “What kind of evidence is it? The authors have all ran away! So have the readers! It’s just pirating. Even if the judgment was passed, it should not have this kind of effect!”

“It’s… It’s because…” The secretary was sweating bullets as he avoided GM Liu’s eyes. “It’s because they found out that the Jabanese are backing us! This is actually nothing. But the Jabanese typically gets rid of people without any worth, and this goes against the characteristics of the people from Heavenly State, the authors and readers couldn’t make peace with it…”

“I see…” GM Liu laid on the backrest of the chair, drained of energy. He mumbled, “One wrong step taken and everything is lost… I did not take much notice of this issue, and did not put 2 and 2 together…”

“GM Liu, let’s think of a way out.” The secretary helplessly said, “It will be too late otherwise…”

“Way out? What other way out can I have?” GM Liu stared blankly. “This time, there is no way to escape being named as a traitor…”

People of the Heavenly State hated traitors the most! All things aside, the way Ko Gohon and Shiroishi Kazuma handled Luo Xue’s incident was the determining factor. Now that this incident was exposed, everything was too late.

As GM Liu was feeling despondent, the final judgment against Feng Yun website was about to be passed in court.

“Silence!” The presiding judge knocked the hammer hard and everyone quietened down.

The judge said in a deep voice, “The evidence has been analyzed. The evidence is accurate. The people involved, including Liu Desheng, general manager of Feng Yun website; Ko Gohon, the heir to the Jaban State Toyoda Conglomerate; and Shiroishi Kazuma, Jaban State Toyoda Conglomerate’s consultant. The identity of these people is accurate. The app source code was re-analyzed. Data has shown that 51.8% of the source code was completely copied, which tallies with which was mentioned in the video. Hence, the video evidence is valid!”

Hearing that, the audience cheered!

“Hahaha! Good! That’s good! Young Master Dali is almighty!””Hahahaha, after producing such a powerful piece of evidence, there’s no reason for Feng Yun website to win. Punish them, punish them severely!””Yes, they must not be left off scoot free! How dare they copy the source code, they’re courting death!”

“Silence!” The judge knocked the hammer again. When the audience quietened down, he slowly said, “Since the evidence is irrefutable, we can pass the judgment now!”

One of the other judges stood up and slowly read. “Feng Yun website is charged for crimes involving infringement of copyright, bribery, malicious accusation, removing evidence of crimes…!

“According to ‘Heavenly State’s Regulations on Piracy on the Internet’, Article 98, the penalty is a fine between 1 million and 50 million. In view of the huge amount of money involved in the Feng Yun website case, Feng Yun website is to compensate Zhong Dian website for Chinese network compensation end Chinese network infringement fees of 35 million yuan.

“According to ‘Heavenly State’s Industry Legitimate Competition Act’, Article 176, the defendant has bribed judges, examiners, and other important personnel. The penalty is a fine between 1 million and 30 million. In view of the amount of money involved, Feng Yun website is to compensate Zhong Dian website 18 million yuan. At the same time, according to the ‘Heavenly State Treaty’, the seven examiners are to hand over the total amount of bribes received and will be sentenced to six years in prison.

“According to ‘Heavenly State’s Industry Fair Competition Act’, Article 74, as the defendant has charged the plaintiff during the trial, the defendant is to compensate 16.8 million yuan to the plaintiff for reputation loss.

“According to ‘Heavenly State’s Internet Piracy Regulations’, article 24, getting rid of the evidence of crimes during the trial, which caused great difficulties for the trial, Feng Yun website is to compensate Zhong Dian 1.4 million.”

Lastly, the judge slowly recited, “As multiple crimes were committed concurrently, all compensation is increased by 20%. In conclusion, Feng Yun website is to pay Zhong Dian a total of 100,560,000 yuan. Feng Yun website will close with immediate effect for business rectification. All fines are to be paid before they can resume business.

“Defendant, would you like to appeal?”

Feng Yun website’s lawyer was out of ideas. When he turned to look at the crowd, he saw Wada Nakamasa among the crowd shaking his head slightly. Feng Yun website’s lawyer lowered his head and said, “We will not be appealing…”

When the crowd heard that, everyone stood up and applauded while facing Zhong Dian.

“Hahaha! Good! Good job! It feels too good! I didn’t come for nothing today. So what if they’re Jabanese, they lost in the end!” “Yes, yes, this is great! Damn the Jabanese for pirating Heavenly State’s things, we must not spoil them!” “Yes, this is the right way to do it! Kill them! Yes!”

The authors in the audience cheered in unison. Countless people rushed to tell each other the good news, and everyone told their friends in the same circle the good news!

In an instant, the news flooded the authors’ chat groups, updating the groups every second.

Author 1: “Hahahahaha! Great! It’s great! We won! Haha, those Jabanese lost! They are made to pay 100 million!”

Author 2: “It feels too good! See if they dare to do something like this again! Damn it!”

Author 3: “Brothers, enough said. We’ll change positions right away. See you at Zhong Dian website!”

In court, Zhong Dian website’s jury.

“Hahaha, Weiguo, your Dali is too powerful!” Mu Tie laughed and hugged Hong Weiguo. “They were sentenced to pay 100 million instantly, and made to suspend their business for rectification too! Shut down and rectify! During this period, all their resources will belong to our Zhong Dian!”

“That’s right!” Liu Yihui was laughing as well. “Let’s take over their resources! Take over their authors and take over their readers! At that time, the entire Heavenly State’s novels will all be at our Zhong Dian! There will only be one smartphone reading app, hahahaha! Good, too good! Dali played a beautiful play with this!”

“This rascal Dali…” Hong Weiguo muttered. He suddenly rubbed his face. “This little rascal, getting my pulse rate up like that. I’ll spank him when I get home! To think he hid so many things from me, I can’t imagine!”

At this moment, the people in the front row turned around and laughed at him. “Can you spank him? You already spoil him so much, if you can bear to paddle his ass, I will adopt your surname!”

“Ahaha, haha!” Hearing the man in front of him, Hong Weiguo’s face turned red. He laughed and said, “I’m just saying, just saying. He gave me such a shock. Haha…”

“See how you’re smiling. The sides of your mouth are almost reaching your ears!” Mu Tie smacked Hong Weiguo’s shoulder. “Old Hong, don’t think so much. Let’s quickly decide how to take over from Feng Yun website. They have suffered a big loss this time around. We’ll be missing out if we don’t take the opportunity to take over their channels!”

“Yes, we definitely can’t miss it!”

As everyone was madly celebrating the victory, Wada Nakamasa, who as in the crowd, whispered in his receiver. “Mission failed. We may consider retreating.” He smoothed his clothes, closed his eyes, and ignored the fuss.

Imperial Hotel, Presidential Suite Number Four.

“Uncle Kazuma, we failed! We actually failed!” Ko Gohon anxiously circled the room as he said, “Are there any ways to save the situation? What did we do this for?! Success was within reach, but we ended up losing so completely. How can this be, how can this be!”

“I underestimated the compassion of Heavenly State.” Shiroishi Kazuma shook his head. “In our Jaban empire, it’s common for a worker to be kicked out after he has lost his value. I never thought of the impact here at Heavenly State. Forget it. Since things have developed in this manner, we need to be decisive.”

“Decisive? What decisive?” Ko Gohon despondently said, “Uncle Kazuma, are you asking me to… get rid of Feng Yun website completely? If we get rid of Feng Yun website, our plan of attacking Sangle…”

“A strong warrior cuts his wrist 1 . Shiroishi Kazuma closed his eyes and calmly said, “As a superior, if you don’t have the strength of a strong warrior, you can’t achieve much. Don’t forget, although we invested a lot of money on the website, it’s not a big business compared to what we plan to do in the future. If we take a wrong step, we will lose everything. What we need to do now is to prevent them from expanding their scope of influence.”

“Uncle Kazuma, do you mean online gaming?!” Hearing Shiroishi Kazuma, Ko Gohon’s eyes lit up. “Yes, yes! We still have online gaming, we still have other businesses! Although we lost Feng Yun website this time, there are still other businesses we can expand! Uncle Kazuma, what should we do now then?”

“There are two things you need to do now.” Shiroishi Kazuma lightly said. “Firstly, give up Feng Yun website completely. Throw the website and all its influence away. Secondly, admit your defeat at their door. Stop gambling with Hong Dali.”

“This…” Ko Gohon was stunned. “Uncle Kazuma, you want me to take the initiative to admit defeat in front of the prodigal Hong Dali?!”
