Upon hearing what the young man said, that handsome and muscular man glanced at the other people with him and said, “Sure. Anyway, the wine and drinks are all free of charge. It’d be a waste to not drink them. Haha, let’s drink a cup of wine!”

The few of them randomly chose seats and ordered a carton of beer, peanuts and so on. The young man toasted to the few of them first and asked, “Big brother, how do I address you? Where are you working now?”

“Me? Just call me Qihang. I’m now working in the Grand League, and these are all my brothers.” Qihang pointed at his few brothers beside him. “We heard that this place is free of charge, so we came over to take a look, hehe.”

“Grand League, this name is nice. Is it a… gang?” The young man cautiously glanced around and asked, “You’re part of the triads?”

“Haha, no, it’s just an organization in an online game. We were bored, so we came out to catch up with each other. The atmosphere is quite good.” Qihang drank a mouthful of wine and asked, “Brother, why don’t you join us as well? We don’t have any requirements, and we’re not going out slashing people. We mainly just play games online, and when we’re offline, we gather together and drink some wine. The girls are also not bad.”

Girls!

The young man’s eyes instantly lit up. “Then count me in, how’s that? Are there any conditions?”

“No conditions!” Qihang smiled. “As long as you have a good moral quality. You can’t be involved in drugs or anything illegal. There aren’t any other requirements!”

“Then I’ll join!”

…

In the meantime, the yellow-haired guy and the others had dispiritedly retreated to one corner. They stared at each other and decided to change to another target. Instantly, they rushed forwards and pulled a person’s arm and shouted, “Hey, don’t you have eyes while walking? You’ve stepped on my shoes, don’t you know that?”

And then, it was practically the same as before, as a few other people rushed forward again. “Do you guys want a beating? Quickly get lost!”

The yellow-haired guy and the others instantly dispersed…

…

Still the yellow-haired guy and those few others. “Hey girl, make your master happy, won’t you?”

Afterward, a few other girls dashed out. “Sister, be careful. These few are not good people, they’re always cheating others!” Another girl was more hot-tempered. “What are you looking at? One more look and I’ll scratch your face!”

The yellow-haired guy and the others covered their faces and ran away.

The girl that those few people had come up to said in shock, “Thank you, I knew that they weren’t good people.”

The few girls: “Of course, I’m just scared that people would be cheated by them.” Another person said, “Pretty lady, in the future, if you encounter such people again, just mention the name Grand League. It’ll definitely be useful!”

“Grand League?” The girl was doubtful. “Is it a triad?”

“No.” The few girls answered, “It’s just an organization that plays games. But everyone has quite good moral qualities, and we often come out and have a gathering. We didn’t have many things to do today and heard that things over here are free of charge, so we came.”

“Is that so, then are you recruiting people? Can I join in and play as well?”

“Of course, you can. If you’d like to come, I’ll introduce a few new friends to you. They’re all pretty girls, the belles of our organization!”

…

Such scenes happened everywhere around Ko Gohon’s nightclubs. Initially, not many people pulled others into their organization, but gradually, it was as if it snowballed till wherever there was Grand League, there would be many commotions there. Also, more often than not, as long as the Grand League was mentioned, the little thugs wouldn’t dare to make trouble.

Gradually, it was first tens of people that joined per day, then it developed to a hundred people per day, then up a thousand. Perhaps not all of these people would play games with Grand League or have too close a contact with them, but they’d definitely not reject some good suggestions.

For instance, at a particular corner, Qihang sat on the sofa and stared at the surroundings, then twitched his lips and said, “This place looks quite ordinary. If it was not free of charge, I really wouldn’t want to come here.”

Afterward, a new member curiously asked, “Brother Qihang, then where should we go?”

“Isn’t it obvious?” Qihang looked at him with an expression as if he were looking at a country bumpkin. “Of course we’re going to Ye Lai Xiang. That’s called high class. It’s Young Master’s territory, so, not to mention the security, even the quality of the customers are also high in there. Look at the situation here, there aren’t any good-looking girls!”

Of course, that was the case since all the good-looking girls had already been recruited by Grand League…

But that new member didn’t know this. Thus, upon hearing what Qihang said, he instantly nodded repeatedly. “After hearing what Brother Qihang has said, I realize that this is really the case. The quality here is truly lacking compared to that side. But it’s free of charge here, we can’t possibly choose not to stay at a free of charge place and go and spend money elsewhere, right?”

“Of course.” Qihang grinned. “But it won’t be free of charge forever. After the free of charge promotion is over, I’ll bring you over to Ye Lai Xiang to have some fun when there’s time, and let you see what is called having beauties all over the place!”

Of course, there were beauties all over the place. Now, all the pretty girls were part of Grand League. By then, when they were brought to Ye Lai Xiang… You know what would happen.

…

Imperial Hotel, Presidential Suite number four.

“How are things going at the nightclubs? Is the popularity level high?” Ko Gohon sat on the sofa and asked his bodyguard, “By then, it’d surely teach Hong Dali a lesson, right? Though it’s just a petty fight, as long as it upsets him, then I’ll be very happy.”

“Young Master, everything is going very well there.” The bodyguard smiled. “Currently, the popularity has practically all been attracted to our side. Nobody goes to Ye Lai Xiang now. In this case, as long as this trend continues for a few more days, everyone will completely forget about Ye Lai Xiang, and only know about our three nightclubs.”

“Good!” Ko Gohon was satisfied. “Make as many hotels and other places of entertainment free of charge as possible. Lower the price whenever you can. I want to make sure nobody patronizes his business. Humph humph. It’s already difficult for him to prepare a program in 10 days’ time. Apart from advertising, we still have to create trouble for him to make him tired of handling all these. By then, our chances of success would greatly increase!”

“Yes, Young Master! Then, what should we do next…” The bodyguard looked at Ko Gohon and asked. “Do we continue creating trouble for them?”

“Yes, are preparations complete for the television programs?” Ko Gohon asked.

“All preparations have been completed. There has been a great reception for ‘Big Stars of the Nation,’ and all the celebrities participating in ‘Star Plan’ have arrived. They’re going to begin filming three days later.” The bodyguard said, “Judging from the current situation, everything is going smoothly!”

“Yes, Young Master. All the data of those online novel websites that we’re working with have already been completely merged.” The bodyguard said, “The new website is done. Its name is ‘Feng Yun website.’”

“Good!” Ko Gohon instantly decided. “Then let it start now!”

“Yes!”

…

“Star Plan” and “Big Stars of the Nation” had been greatly hyped. Meanwhile, at a rather unassuming corner on the internet, a drastic change was occurring at the online literature aspect.

Five rather influential online novel websites in Heavenly State were currently undergoing restructuring and compilation of data. And the name of the newly formed website was called Feng Yun website!

Once news of the creation of Feng Yun website had been announced, it created a huge uproar amongst the writers.

All the writers in the entire nation were observing how the treatment and benefits for the authors at this Feng Yun website was. Given that the daily IP site traffic of each of these five online novel websites reached around 300,000, with their merger, leading to a big website, the readers would naturally not lose out too much as well. Probably in no time, the daily IP site traffic would be able to break the 15 million mark.

In the various authors’ group chats—

Author number one: Have you heard it? Five local online novel websites have merged and formed a Feng Yun website. It’s planning to go against Young Master’s Zhong Dian website. The treatments and remunerations of the authors are just too awesome!”

Author number two: “Of course, I’ve seen it. Speaking of which, the remunerations for the authors are really quite good. It’s almost a ratio of 9:1. Deducting the taxes, the website won’t be able to earn much money from it, right? Isn’t it just doing charity.”

Author number three: “Really? I just got to know about it, quickly let me see the author benefits!”

Author number two sent over a screenshot of the benefits given to authors on Feng Yun website.

Author number three: “What the heck, this is totally doing charity! As long as we are able to sign a contract with them, we will earn 500 yuan by writing 5,000 words daily and maintain it for a month! The author can get 80% of the money earned from the subscriptions and rewards!”

Author number four: “To speak the truth, those Great Gods at Zhong Dian website truly get a lot of benefits. The IP site traffic there is indeed large. But it doesn’t have much effect on ordinary people like us. I think the remunerations and benefits at Feng Yun website are still better. I’m preparing to go over there.”

Author number five: “En, it does make some sense. Oh right, I also heard that Feng Yun website is paying a flat fee to buy the book chapters starting from 20 yuan per 1,000 words! This is definitely a high price!”

Author number six to hundred: “What the heck, so good?! I’ll prepare to submit my works right away!”
