My Cold and Elegant CEO Wife

”Gee, 10 billion, how touching. You are actually willing to pay 10 billion for Ruyan Liu.” The husky voice seemed to deliberately tease Qingfeng Li, toying with him, unnerving him.

Although Qingfeng Li knew that he was being toyed with, he had no choice but to succumb because the person he was speaking to had Ruyan Liu in their hands. If they didn’t have Ruyan Liu, Qingfeng Li would have already cursed them out. He would first chew their bloody head off, then unleash onto them some violent beating. He couldn’t do any of that now.

”If 10 billion is too little, I can double that that. I can give you 20 billion.” For Ruyan Liu, Qingfeng Li went all out. Money is just a number to him. As long as he can save Ruyan Liu, no cost is too high.

What happened next disappointed Qingfeng Li, because the husky voice had said: 20 billion, what an astronomical number, but I don’t like money.

”What do you want in exchange for releasing Ruyan Liu?” Qingfeng Li coldly asked.

”I want you to die.” The husky voice said, with chilling hatred and intentions to kill. The voice was filled with an apparent hatred for Qingfeng Li.

Qingfeng Li spoke softly, ”As long as you can release Ruyan Liu, my life is yours.”

Upon hearing Qingfeng Li’s words, the voice on the other end actually became quiet. The person was surprised by Qingfeng Li’s words, that he was willing to die.

”Since you have a deathwish, I’ll help you. I live at the Shaoyang Mansion 30 km east of East South Region. You can come.” The husky voice, now laced with coldness, hanged up the phone after these words.

Shaoyang Mansion?

Qingfeng Li’s expression changed at the sound of the name, his eyes turned cold. The name of his former enemy was Shaoyang Wang. The name made him uneasy.

Qingfeng Li drove his car towards the Shaoyang Mansion, speeding along the way, arriving within merely 10 minutes. He was greeted by a black mansion, built with black marble tiles, dark like the color of the night. Though the mansion was black, all the lights in the building were lit, making the whole villa bright like daylight.

Qingfeng Li parked his car in front of the entrance and walked into the building. When he entered the living room, he saw Ruyan Liu immediately. She was tied-up, pale-faced, and furiously blinking at Qingfeng Li, as if signaling for him to run.

Ghost Two held a knife to Ruyan Liu’s throat. If anything suspicious happened, he would cut her throat.

Next to Ghost Two was Hell King, wearing a mask, coldly gazing at Qingfeng Li, eyes filled with hatred.

At the sight of Ruyan Liu’s condition, Qingfeng Li’s expression suddenly changed. He reacted immediately and was about to rush over when...

”Stop right there, take one more step and I’ll have Ghost Two slit her throat and have her die right in front of you.” Hell King threatened with a cold snicker.

Faced with this threat, Qingfeng Li stopped in his tracks for the very first time. If it were his life that had been threatened, he wouldn’t think twice to retaliate. However, this was Ruyan Liu’s life on the line. He had no other choice but to give in.

”Do not hurt Ruyan Liu, I will do whatever you ask.” Qingfeng Li said chillingly.

”I’ve already told you, I want you to die.” Hell King said ruthlessly, his voice filled with hatred.

”Alright, you can come kill me.” Qingfeng Li nodded, prompting Hell King to kill him.

Hell King shook his head and said, ”Qingfeng Li, I know you are the Wolf King, I don’t have the abilities to kill you. But since I have Ruyan Liu in my hands, I’ll give you a chance to save her. Stab yourself three times. The stabs must be ruthless. If I am satisfied, I will let her go.”

Obviously, Hell King wanted to kill Qingfeng Li himself if he could. But he knew of Qingfeng Li’s immense powers. Even if he were to join forces with Eagle King, it would not guarantee a victory since Qingfeng Li had the Wolf King Totem. He must first cripple Qingfeng Li, and Ruyan Liu is his best weapon.

Shoo!

Hell King took a knife and threw it directly towards Qingfeng Li, commanding him to stab himself three times.

Qingfeng Li reached out his right hand and caught the knife in lightning speed.

The dagger was 20 cm long, its whole body black, crafted with fine iron, emitting a chilling aura. It wasn’t an average knife. One stab on a body would cause grave wounds.

”Qingfeng, don’t stab yourself. It’s your life that they want, you don’t have to save me.” Ruyan Liu cried out with a frightened face.

Qingfeng Li had just arrived at the mansion. He hadn’t acknowledged the presence of Eagle King, hidden in the shadows. But Ruyan Liu knew of Eagle King’s presence in the mansion. She also knew of his immense powers. An injured Qingfeng Li wouldn’t be able to defend himself against these men.

Qingfeng Li looked at Ruyan Liu and shook his head. If it had been ordinary men who held knives to her neck, he would have saved her by now. But the enemy was Ghost Two, followers of Hell King, skilled fighters ranked at level SSS. Qingfeng Li couldn’t guarantee Ruyan Liu’s safety under the guard of two powerful fighters.

If it is for Ruyan Liu, so what if I stab myself. He knew of Hell King’s plans, to injure him then kill him.

Schick!

Without a second thought, he took the knife and jammed it into his thigh. The stab was very deep, with blood immediately gushing out along his legs.

Hell King’s gaze froze for a moment, evidently surprised by Qingfeng Li’s ruthlessness, stabbing himself without any hesitation. For a moment, Hell King admired Qingfeng Li. He’s a dedicated man.

Though Hell King admired Qingfeng Li, he still wanted him dead. He must kill him for revenge.

At the sight of Qingfeng Li’s spewed out blood and pale face. Tears rolled down Ruyan Liu’s face like pouring rain. She shook her head violently, hoping he would stop hurting himself, but her efforts were futile.

Schick!

Qingfeng Li stabbed himself for the second time, this time in his abdomen, creating a gaping hole in his torso. The stab almost pierced his body, with another gush of blood spewing out everywhere.

In hopes to satisfy Hell King so that he could release Ruyan Liu, Qingfeng Li made sure the two stabs were gravely deep. His body shuddered with a spike of intense pain, blood incessantly gushing out, his face as pale as paper, without any sign color.

”Please stop hurting yourself.” She cried out looking at Qingfeng Li’s colorless face. Although Qingfeng Li was stabbing himself, she felt all the piercing pain in her heart.

Schick!

Qingfeng Li shook his head at Ruyan Liu, took the knife and stabbed himself in the chest for the third time. This stab was particularly potent, the tip of the knife had peaked out of his back. As he pulled out the knife, blood spewed out once again.

Qingfeng Li’s face was lifeless, his body staggering, rocking back and forth, nearly falling to the ground. He was heavily wounded.

At this moment, Ruyan Liu was a sobbing mess, eyes filled with tears but unable to help. All the people around were stronger than her.
