My Cold and Elegant CEO Wife

”Cousin…here,” Ruyan Liu stuttered nervously.

One should not lie as it takes countless lies to cover up the initial lie.

Qingfeng’s hand were trembling as he reached out for the ultrasound results. His felt a connection with the baby when he saw the baby on the ultrasound.

Even though Qingfeng was a godly doctor, but he was skilled in Chinese medicine. He did not know how to read an ultrasound.

Qingfeng looked at the ultrasound but could not discern if it was a boy or a girl.

”Yanran, is this a boy or girl?” Qingfeng asked.

”Let me have a look,” Yanran Zhao asked.

Qingfeng nervously handed over the ultrasound result to Yanran Zhao.

Yanran Zhao looked and said, ”She is a girl, a future princess.”

Qingfeng was elated to hear that the baby was a girl. He loved girls. Boys were too active.

Ruyan Liu was also happy. Daughters were like the apple of mum’s eyes. Ruyan Liu was happy that the baby was a girl. More importantly, she was happy to see Qingfeng’s happy expression.

”Big brother Li, why are you happy that your cousin has a baby girl?” Yanran Zhao asked confusedly.

Yanran Zhao felt that Qingfeng was very strange today. He was too concerned about Ruyan Liu. It was out of line for a cousin.

Qingfeng was dazed for a moment. He then replied, ”I am happy that my cousin has a baby.”

At the moment, Qingfeng was very displeased with Yanran Zhao. He thought, ”Why was the third wheeler still in front of me? How irritating! Why don’t you go away.”

As if she had heard Qingfeng’s thoughts, Yanran Zhao suddenly said, ”Oh no, I forgot that a patient asked me to grab the IV bag.”

”Yanran Zhao, go and grab the IV bag. It’s not good to keep the patient waiting,” Qingfeng said with fake concern. In reality, he wanted Yanran Zhao to leave quickly.

Yanran Zhao nodded and hurriedly left.

After Yanran Zhao left, Qingfeng and Ruyan Liu exchanged glances and sighed in relief. But they later became awkward.

Why were they awkward? Qingfeng knew that Ruyan Liu was pregnant. How could he not be awkward?

”Uh..uh…uh…” Qingfeng stuttered. He did not know what to say.

Ruyan Liu looked at Qingfeng’ expression and instantly knew what was on his mind. She asked, ”You want to know who is the baby’s father?”

Qingfeng nodded and looked nervously at Ruyan Liu.

Ruyan Liu casted Qingfeng an angry glance and said, ”You bastard, how can you be suspicious of me. I have only slept with you. Who do you think the father is?”

Qingfeng knew that his words had angered Ruyan Liu. He quickly apologized, ”I’m sorry. Don’t be angry. I am just excited that you have a baby.”

”Hmph, I hid it from you because I didn’t want you to know. But now that you know, what should we do?” Ruyan Liu said.

What to do?

Qingfeng was dazed for a moment. He was stumped by the question. He thought, ”Yeah, Ruyan Liu is pregnant with my baby. What should I do?”

Marry Ruyan Liu?

Qingfeng thought about that possibility. If he married Ruyan Liu, what would happen to Xue Lin? Did he have to divorce Xue Lin?

Strictly speaking, other than the fact that they had never slept together, Xue Lin was a good wife.

Qingfeng had a headache. This had never happened even when he met a King Level fighter. But today, his head was hurting a lot.

If he could choose, he would rather battle a King than to make a choice.

Ruyan Liu could tell that Qingfeng was conflicted. She said, ”Don’t worry. I won’t ask for too much. I only want you to spend more time with me.

However, the disappointment was apparent on Ruyan Liu’s face. She was a proud woman and had her own pride. But now, she could only be Qingfeng’s mistress.

If Ruyan Liu walked out and asked, ”Who wants to marry me?”, countless of men would be willing to do so. But she only loved Qingfeng.

Qingfeng also felt that he had let Ruyan Liu down. He hugged her in his arms and said in a low voice, ”Ruyan, don’t worry. I will not let you down.”

Ruyan Liu nodded and rested her head against Qingfeng’s shoulder. Her heart was filled with warmth.

Yanran Zhao had finished administering the IV solution to the patient. She was stunned when she saw Qingfeng hugging Ruyan Liu.

”Big brother Li, why are you hugging your cousin?” Yanran Zhao asked angrily. She was not sure why she was angry either.

F**k, the third wheeler is back?

Qingfeng was speechless. He thought that Yanran Zhao was gone for good. But this woman had came back at the most crucial moment.

”Yanran Zhao, my cousin is nauseous. I am holding onto her because I am scared she will fall,” Qingfeng explained with a smile. His explanation was slightly forceful.

A flash of puzzlement appeared in Yanran Zhao’s eyes. She asked, ”Miss Liu, is that true?”

Ruyan Liu was flushed. She quickly pushed Qingfeng away and said awkwardly, ”yes, I was really nauseous. I almost fell to the ground. Thankfully, Qingfeng helped me.”

Qingfeng quickly continued when he saw the puzzlement in Yanran Zhao’s eyes. He said, ”Yanran, my cousin has finished her ultrasound. I am bringing her home. Bye.”

After speaking, Qingfeng grabbed Ruyan Liu’s hand left the hospital.

”Why did big brother Li leave so quickly. I wanted to talk to him,” Yanran Zhao muttered to herself.

She had quickly administered the patient’s IV and ran back to Qingfeng hurriedly because she wanted to see him. But Qingfeng left just as she got here. It was as if he was avoiding her.

Qingfeng led Ruyan Liu to the hospital entrance. He sighed in relief when he saw that Yanran Zhao did not follow them.

Chuckle!

Qingfeng and Ruyan Liu exchanged a smile. They could see the smile in each other’s eyes. In their hearts, Yanran Zhao was a third wheeler. Poor Yanran Zhao, she would be so sad if she knew that big brother Li, who she had feelings for, thought that she was a third wheeler.
