My Cold and Elegant CEO Wife

”You’re a liar, right? Only president Ruyan Liu has the five-star Platinum Card. How come you have it?” the girl in the front desk smiled in disdain, her eyes full of disbelief.

Of course, she had never seen the five-star Platinum Card. With the identify of a receptionist, she naturally couldn’t reach it.

”You call me a liar?” Holding the platinum card, Qingfeng Li was so angry that his nose crooked.

It’s the first time that he was called a liar for so many years. He was furious at heart.

”What happened here?” Suddenly, a dignified voice came, a middle-aged man in a suit, with gold-rimmed spectacles, came over.

Seeing the man in glasses were here, the receptionist suddenly changed her facial expression, and hurriedly said, ”Manager Liu, why you are here.”

This middle-aged man was called Tao Liu, the manager of River Scene Restuarant Restaurant. Hearing the quarrel at the front desk, he then walked over.

”Xiaoyan, this is our restaurant. Be cautious about the impression you’re making. What are you arguing about?” Tao Liu said in dissatisfaction as he glanced at the receptionist girl.

River Scene Restaurant was a big restaurant and paid attention to its reputation and image. If people saw restaurant staff argue with customers, this will the create a negative image for the restaurant.

”Manager Liu, this guy is a liar. He took out a card and claimed it as the platinum card of the Liu Corporation,” The receptionist girl said to Tao Liu, pointing at Qingfeng Li.

She saw the manager was a bit angry, and quickly pushed all the mistakes to Qingfeng Li.

Hearing the platinum card, Tao Liu was shocked. He knew that the importance of the five-star platinum card. It was something only CEOs own.

Tao Liu casted his look towards Qingfeng Li. Seeing him wearing ordinary clothes, his eyes also showed a touch of suspicion. Did this man actually have a five-star platinum card in hand?

Qingfeng Li took out the platinum card, as if knowing Tao Liu’s doubts, and said faintly, ”The receptionist girl doesn’t recognize a five-star platinum card. You wouldn’t not recognize it as well, right?”

Five-star platinum card. It really is the five-star platinum card?

Tao Liu had shock all over his face. His heart was tumbling like raging ocean waves. it never occurred to him that the guy in front of him actually took out the five-star platinum card.

He was the manager of the River Scene Restuarant Restaurant, and also a member of the Liu Corporation. Naturally he had seen the five-star Platinum card.

Moreover, Tao Liu also knew that there are three cards in total. One in the hands of the CEO Ruyan Liu and another in the hands of the mayor. He never expected the guy in front of him would have the last card.

What identity did the guy in front of him have? How would he have this noble five-star platinum card. He was very confused at heart.

As for the receptionist girl at the front desk, she was already frightened, her face pale and eyes showing a hint of fear.

As the receptionist girl in the River Scene Restuarant Restaurant, though she never saw a five-star card, she naturally knew the importance of it. Even a hundred Boss Wangs cannot compare with the importance of the guy in front of him, let alone one.

She extremely regretted her actions. If she knew it earlier, she would try to please the guy in front of him, not Boss Wang.

”S..Sir. what is your name?” Tao Liu stammered.

Though he is the manager of River Scene Restuarant Restaurant, he had great power and high status. But he was nothing in front of the five-star platinum card.

He knew that for the person who was able to take out the five-star platinum card, he was at least a mayor-level character. The guy in front of him was so young that he must have a more powerful background.

”My name is Qingfeng Li. Oh right, we booked the restaurant at 8 AM. But the receptionist lady gave the room to a chubby guy nearby just now and drove us away. What do you say you should do?”

Qingfeng Li smiled faintly and said to Tao Liu. He knew that Tao Liu was a smart guy and knows what to do.

Sure enough, hearing Qingfeng Li’s words, Tao Liu’s facial expression greatly changed. He was very angry with the front desk manager.

”Xiaoyan, let me ask you. Is what this gentlemen said true? You grabbed their room and drove them away?” Tao Liu asked harshly, staring at the lady ferociously.

”Manger, I, I, I…” the receptionist lady stuttered, trying to defend for herself but not knowing what to say. Because she knew what Qingfeng Li said was true. She did want to get rid of them to please Boss Wang.

Seeing the expression of the receptionist girl, Tao Liu knew what Qingfeng Li said was true. If not, Xiaoyue would have retorted.

This Xiaoyan. Damn it. You could have offended anybody else. But you offended this guy, the powerful guy who could take out the five-star platinum card. Even I can’t afford to offend him, let alone you.

What he could only do now was to abandon the soldier and protect the general. He would protect himself first then throw Xiaoyan out. But she had made a mistake. Since she made a mistake, naturally she would be punished.

”Xiaoyan, from now on, you’re fired. Get out of the restaurant immediately,” Tao Liu said to the receptionist coldly as he slightly frowned.

”Manager, please give me another chance, I promise I won’t do it next time,” The receptionist looked pale and begged.

After all, the River Scene Restuarant Restaurant was a big restaurant with great treatment and benefits. As a receptionist, she had a high wage, and plus the tips from customers she could sometimes earn 10,000 Yuan per month.

She did not want to give up the job, she really didn’t want to give up the job. But she knew that she offended a big shot that even a manager could not afford to offend. So she could only leave.

Xiaoyan’s face was pale. She walked out, her face full of sadness. No staff in the restaurant sympathized with her, because she had made a mistake. Since she made the mistake, naturally she would be punished.

As for the fat Boss Wang nearby, he had gone away with his companion when Qingfeng Li took out the five-star platinum card.

He naturally knew the importance of the five-star platinum card. He had seen it at the mayor’s. It was something he could not afford to offend.

”Big brother Li, I’m really sorry about today. To express my apologies, this meal is on me.”

Tao Liu showed ingratiation on his face, with a flattering smile. He didn’t even call him ”sir”, but ”big brother Li” instead.

He was a descendent of the Liu Family, and knew even better the importance of the five-star platinum card. That was something only Ruyan Liu could have, and a symbol of status.

Since Ruyan Liu gave the five-star platinum card to Qingfeng Li, that meant she thought highly of him. Tao Liu wanted Qingfeng Li to say some good things for him in front of Ruyan Liu, so he can go further in the Liu Corporation.

”Okay, since you want to treat me. Then this meal is on you.” Qingfeng Li said while smiling slightly.

Since the Liu Tao in front of him wanted to please him, then he would give him a chance, also saving the cost of a meal for Wanqiu Xia.

Though Wanqiu Xia didn’t care about the cost of one meal, Qingfeng Li’s principle was to save whenever he can. Spending others’ money, and saving his.
