Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

431: Declaration of Kill

431: Declaration of Kill

As if to validate every word Princess Lenavira had just spoken, Craig’s towering figure stepped confidently into the very center of the tenth-floor hall, his black cloak billowing behind him as his cold gaze swept across the gathered crowd.

The murmur of conversation died instantly, the silence thick and oppressive as all eyes turned to him.

With a voice like grinding stone—deep, powerful, and commanding—he spoke, his words echoing through the vast chamber.

“Today, I have come here to the tenth hall for a very special reason.

As you all know, a very funny situation has arisen in the Tower of Truth.

A human—from a foreign land, no less—has not only reached the top of the Pillar of Divine Appraisal but has surpassed the talent of anyone who has ever lived in the Lost Continent.” His voice was calm, but every word was laced with venomous disdain.

He took a few steps forward, his boots thudding heavily against the ground as the pressure around him intensified.

“And I can’t stand it,” he said flatly, his tone shifting into something colder.

“I, as a demon, already detest him.

He’s a human… he’s from Valora Continent, and he’s killed some of my men.

That alone would be enough reason to make him my enemy.”

His eyes glinted as he raised his voice just slightly, turning in a slow circle to address everyone from every race gathered in the hall—humans, elves, demons alike.

“And so, I’m going to use my Authority on him,” he declared, his words sending a ripple of gasps and widening eyes through the crowd.

“And this will be your chance to witness the rare occasions when an Authority is actually used.”

The crowd didn’t stir much at Craig’s declaration, nor did they seem shocked or outraged—because deep down, they had expected this outcome from the very beginning.

The arrival of the Number One Seat of the Demon Race, a figure so feared and revered that even other demons kept their distance, wasn’t for show.

No one truly believed he had come merely to observe the outcome of Max Voidwalker’s assessment.

No, his very presence had screamed intent—the intent to kill.

From the moment Craig stepped into the hall, clad in dark armor and exuding a suffocating aura of dominance, it was clear to every genius, every elite gathered there, that this was a calculated move.

And as they saw his eyes locked on the glowing name of Max Voidwalker, still etched atop the Pillar of Divine Appraisal, still shining with brilliance that refused to fade, there could only be one conclusion.

Max was the target.

The only one in the tower worthy of having someone like Craig use his Authority on.

The crowd may not have spoken aloud, but their silence was its own kind of agreement—a collective acceptance of what was about to unfold.

The rules of the tower were known.

The privileges of the Five Seats were no secret.

And to use the Authority—to burn the right to kill once in three years—meant Craig wasn’t here to make a statement.

He was here to end a rising star before that star could reach a height that not even the strongest demon could touch.

Whether they supported Craig’s reasoning or despised his method, one truth echoed in the hearts of everyone present: Max’s return from the assessment would no longer be met with awe.

It would be met with blood.

“Humph, as if it’s that easy to kill him,” a calm yet cold voice rang out through the hall, slicing through the thick tension like a blade.

Not everyone was convinced by Craig’s grand declaration.

And not everyone was ready to stand by and watch.

A figure stepped forward from the crowd, his stride steady, his eyes sharp with quiet defiance—Adam, the Second Seat of the Human Race, now standing directly in Craig’s path.

A hush swept through the hall as all eyes turned to him, the weight of his presence a direct challenge to the demon’s intent.

Craig’s crimson eyes narrowed, a sneer creeping onto his face as he recognized the challenger.

“Adam… you think you can stop me?

That you can prevent what’s already been decided?” His voice was mocking, but the malice in it was real.

“I will kill him.”

Adam merely shrugged, unbothered, his expression calm and composed.

“Then I suppose,” he said coolly, “I’ll have no choice but to use my Authority on you.”

The crowd gasped.

Craig’s sneer deepened, twisted with amusement.

“Are you sure you can kill me on your own?” he asked, the arrogance in his tone boiling over.

His confidence was absolute, forged from years of dominance and fear.

But before Adam could answer, another presence appeared behind him, smooth and casual, as if he had been there all along.

“He isn’t alone, you know?” came the voice of Fagus, the Fourth Seat of the Human Race, his hands behind his back, expression unreadable as he joined Adam’s side without fanfare.

Craig barked a laugh, amused rather than surprised.

“Hahaha… so the Moon Faction shows its face.” He folded his arms, his tone dripping with scorn.

“You two… from the Moon Faction, right?

Thought so.”

Adam and Fagus didn’t react to the taunt.

Their expressions remained steady, unmoved.

Craig continued, sneering.

“From what I’ve heard, the human race has already turned on Max.

Couldn’t wait to gut him themselves.

But it seems that was the Sun Faction.

You Moon Faction rats seem to have other ideas.” His eyes flickered with killing intent.

“But none of that matters.

One Second Seat, and one Fourth Seat… together, you still can’t kill me.”

His smirk turned cruel.

“But I can kill you.

Just one of you.

That’s all it’ll take.

One death… to make sure your human race suffers the worst.” The air around him trembled with demonic aura, thick and violent, as the crowd recoiled slightly from the building tension.

But Adam and Fagus stood firm, their resolve burning quietly in their eyes.

Craig might have Authority, but so did they—and they weren’t about to let him touch Max without a fight.
