Supreme Harem God System

“You swing like you’ve never been hit before—”

BOOOM

Archon didn’t even let Nux finish. He wasn’t here for senseless chatter; he only wanted the enemy gone. He created distance between them and unleashed another blade, this time much faster than before, and this time—

His blade struck something.

Archon was sure of it.

A black line formed in the air as his blade met resistance.

Archon grinned.

Got you.

He thought inwardly as he pushed harder, putting more strength into the attack to finish it for good.

The black line widened into a fracture, cracking the very space around it. Yes, just this impact alone was destabilizing the space in the World.

But then—

Archon’s blade… stopped moving any further.

At all.

His muscles strained, he flapped his wings, generating more strength, the halo behind his head buzzed strongly, injecting more and more Light energy into the attack but…

The blade did not move one bit.

Finally, Archon looked at the enemy and he saw…

Nux grabbing his blade with his index finger and thumb, and he… his eyes widened in horror.

And Nux—

“I guess I am quite cringy too, eh?”

He sighed, disappointed in himself.

But then he shrugged,

“But what can I even do?

This looks cool as fuck.

Makes me feel quite powerful.

Plus that look on your face makes it more worth it.”

He continued talking.

“Aarrrghhhh!!!”

BOOOOOM

Archon, on the other hand, put more strength in, as if he was hoping to cut Nux’s fingers, together with his hands and his body.

He wanted to split this man into pieces, but Nux…

He stood where he was, with absolutely no change in his expression and—

“Anyways,”

He continued the conversation.

“So as I was saying, you swing like you’ve never been hit before. There is this strange level of certainness in your attacks. Like you think you cannot fail, like the enemy will never be able to counter your attacks, and it’s not a good thing.

The more arrogance your attacks have, the more blindsided you will be.

And a warrior should not be blindsided.

I understand that this is probably because you have never once fought a serious battle in your life but the thing is—”

“Enough!”

Archon growled, his eyes burning in anger.

“Do you think this is a game!?”

He screamed.

Nux, however, just chuckled and nodded with a satisfied, almost impressed look on his face.

“That’s a good act.

I’ll give it to you.

I did not think a being who had ruled for millions of years would know how to act so well. Or maybe years of kissing Light’s ass helped you?”

Archon froze at those words; in the next instant, however, his eyes reflected confusion.

“What do you mean?”

He asked, and Nux shook his head with a shrug.

“Don’t bother.

Your people didn’t see it.”

“What…?”

Archon’s expression changed.

He connected to Sarovan’s Will again and realized that… his people were asleep. None of them saw that flashy attack he used to strike Nux.

Yes, that attack wasn’t done to defeat Nux. As mentioned before, the first exchange alone was enough for Archon to realize that the Anomaly was strong.

Even if he actually believed he could take him on himself, there was no reason for him to try it on his own and risk his life.

All he needed to do was report to Light and they would capture him themselves, and he…

He would just sit back and enjoy the benefits that came with helping Light capture the enemy that had been targeting them all this while.

And since calling for reinforcements right in front of the enemy was too obvious, he acted like he wanted to defeat him while releasing flashy attacks, hoping his subordinates, or any being in his world, would report the incident to Light while he distracted him.

“How…?”

Archon asked in disbelief.

He was sure that the people were awake before the Anomaly came here and the fight began, then… what happened?

What did the Anomaly do?

And…

When did he do it?

“Did you really think I came alone?”

Nux chuckled.

He then looked at Archon and—

“How difficult do you think it is for an Eternal Level being to use his powers to put your world to sleep?”

Archon did not have to think to answer that.

An Eternal could do it with a snap of his finger.

Even if the entire world was filled with Transcendents, it wouldn’t matter. After all, even though there was only a difference of one Phase between the two—

That Phase difference was… ridiculously huge.

So much that even billions of Transcendents together would never match an Eternal. The difference was… absolute.

“You brought… reinforcements…?”

Archon’s expression changed.

The very reason he surrendered to Light without any fight at all was because the Light Army had three Eternals.

Strength of Eternals did not matter; the number did everything. Archon was never confident in defeating multiple Eternals alone.

And now was no different.

The instant he realized the Anomaly had another Eternal with him—

His pride cracked.

He pulled back and vanished in a flash of Light, reappearing miles from Nux and without shame, he accessed his personal storage space and took out a small golden cube.

An emergency beacon.

An artifact that, once crushed, would instantly summon Light’s forces here, forces that didn’t just have Primordials or Transcendents, but many Eternals too.

Heck, with how serious the current situation was, it wouldn’t be surprising if Lady Seraphielle herself appeared.

That thought made Archon smile; without waiting, he crushed the artifact or…

He tried to.

But the artifact wasn’t there.

It… disappeared.

His heart dropped.

He looked to where Nux was and saw the cube floating near him, slowly spinning above his palm like a toy.

“Did you not know I have mastery over Space Laws? Showing me the artifact you were going to use?

Big mistake.”

Nux chuckled.

Archon’s expression changed. His face showed intense anger; his mind, however, was thinking of ways—ways to call Light without the Anomaly knowing.

He lunged forward.

Trying to attack the Anomaly, trying to distract him again.

And that was when it happened.

The air around him thickened, his body slowed down as if someone was playing with time itself. He flapped his wings, this time with more strength in order to push through, but his wings barely shifted.

It was almost as if…

He lost control over his own body.

Then, the space around him began to change.

His World disappeared and an entirely different space replaced it. It felt like he was taken to another part of the Universe.

A… void he did not recognize.

And Archon did not have to recognize it, because he knew what it was.

Domain.

The Anomaly’s Domain.

He tried to create his own Domain.

That was the only way you fought against a Domain—resisting it with your own Domain. That was common knowledge, but…

His Domain did not activate.

And that…

That made him tremble in fear.

A complete takeover.

To create a Domain where another’s Domain simply does not work… that could only be done if one Domain was… ridiculously stronger than the other.

And that would imply…

That one being was far stronger than the other.

And in this case, Archon wasn’t the stronger one.

He looked at the Anomaly in horror. Without thinking, his hands moved to his storage space; he took out another artifact and activated it before the Anomaly would get the chance to stop him but—

It didn’t work.

Archon’s eyes widened even further. He took out another artifact, this one even stronger than before, the one the Forces of Light gave him especially after the Anomaly appeared and Light challenged him.

A relic that was supposed to work no matter what, but—

It failed too.

That was when Archon realized it.

He could no longer connect to Light.

No matter what he did.

“You can’t—

You can’t cut me off from Light!”

He screamed at Nux, his eyes becoming more and more desperate.

Nux just smiled.

“I like your positivity.”

Then, he did not move, as if he allowed Archon to do whatever he wanted.

And he did.

Archon did everything he could think of, every way to contact Light, but… nothing worked. When Light failed, he tried to connect with his other allies; that failed too.

He was…

Completely isolated.

And while Archon desperately tried to do everything he could—

Nux just watched silently and for the first time, Archon’s thoughts became clear.

I can’t win.

The thought disgusted him.

So he attacked again, more out of desperation and unwillingness to lose than anything.

He gathered Light into his chest until it looked like a second sun was forming inside him, his wings spread fully.

Then he released it.

WHOOOSH

A wave of Light surged forward, wide enough to cover the entire void.

It hit Nux and…

It split around him.

Like water hitting a stone.

Nux stood in the center, untouched, hair barely moving, shirt still open, expression still… amused.

And Archon…

His world fell apart as the realization became even clearer.

But he did not give up; the stubbornness he had built up after getting everything he desired all this while couldn’t be crushed so easily.

So he attacked again, this time with a thousand smaller strikes which were fast, sharper and… almost endless.

But again—

They did nothing.

Nux walked through them.

Archon backed up without realizing it and continued moving back until his back touched an asteroid.

He was cornered.

Not physically, since a mere asteroid was nothing to a being of this level, but mentally.

Because mentally, the realization that this was over had already dawned in.

Even his stubborn stubbornness… had cracked.

His pride… had now turned into desperation, and he finally snapped.

“Why?”
