Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

Sitting in the classroom, feeling the long-lost sensation of attending school, Elysia immediately started to feel sleepy.

Although school was boring, going to school meant she didn’t have to constantly train with Fu Hua.

While training made her stronger, wasn’t constant training even more boring?

“Hua, how does it feel to be back at school after so long?” Elysia asked with a smile, looking at Fu Hua who was tidying her desk.

“No feeling,” Fu Hua replied while tidying.

“Eh~ You can’t say that!

Although Elysia doesn’t know why Hua is here for school, isn’t it better to be more relaxed when you’re at school?” Elysia reached out and pinched Fu Hua’s cheek.

“Elysia, I’m here for school because I accepted a mission from Otto,” Fu Hua said.

“So what?

Or are you saying, Hua, that you didn’t want to come to this academy and meet the lovely Elysia?

If that’s truly the case, Elysia would be so sad~” As she spoke, Elysia even put her hand to her eye, making a gesture of wiping away tears.

“Elysia, class is about to start.

Have you tidied your books?” Fu Hua sighed.

She was already somewhat accustomed to Elysia’s behavior.

Perhaps if Elysia wasn’t there to mess around beside her one day, she would be the one who felt unaccustomed.

“As for the desk, Elysia thinks it’s fine not to tidy it, after all, Elysia is a genius,” Elysia said with a smile.

“Understood,” Fu Hua said, then reached out to help Elysia tidy up.

Although Elysia was right, last semester Elysia only studied for a very short time and was still able to pass the exams.

However, a pile of books stacked on the desk looked very untidy.

Watching Fu Hua tidy her desk, Elysia placed the neatly categorized stacks of books into her desk.

After tidying up, Elysia directly sprawled on the desk.

“This long-lost desk, I really want to sleep,” Elysia said, narrowing her eyes.

“Today is the first day of school; it’s better not to sleep,” Fu Hua said, sitting upright in her seat.

“Alright, alright, I get it.

Hua is still too rigid.

It would be great if Hua could be more lively too.” Elysia sat up reluctantly, though she didn’t look as poised as Fu Hua.

Fu Hua didn’t respond, and the two sat there quietly.

They looked at the other students in the class.

They were all discussing where they had gone to play during the holiday or what events they had attended with their families.

Elysia and Fu Hua seemed out of place.

But it wasn’t long before these students realized that class was about to start, and they hurriedly tidied their desks.

As the class bell rang, Himeko teacher walked in.

Himeko stood at the podium, looked at the students below, and nodded with satisfaction.

“Very good, it’s the first day of school, and no one is late,” Himeko said.

“Today is the first day of school, and I don’t have much to say, except that I hope you haven’t neglected your physical condition during the holidays.” “After all, everyone in this class is destined to become a Valkyrie, and I believe you are very clear about the standards for a Valkyrie.” “Also, in our class, we now have two official Valkyries.” “They are B-Rank Elysia and A-Rank Fu Hua.” “You should all learn from them and become independent Valkyries as soon as possible.” “Alright, class begins!” After speaking, Himeko walked out of the classroom, and the teacher for this class walked in from outside.

But the students in the class now had no intention of starting class.

They all carefully looked at Elysia and Fu Hua, who were sitting in the back.

After all, both of them were already official Valkyries, and their ranks were so high.

Generally speaking, new Valkyries should be C-Rank Valkyries.

How excellent were these two to skip directly past C-Rank Valkyries?

Elysia responded to every gaze directed at her with a smile.

Then, these people turned their gazes to Fu Hua.

The two of them sitting together presented completely different temperaments.

The new teacher, observing the atmosphere in the classroom, also knew that there were now two students who had become official Valkyries in this class.

Not to mention their classmates, she was also very curious.

“Ahem,” the teacher coughed, attracting the attention of the entire class.

“Are you all very curious about how Elysia and Fu Hua were evaluated as official Valkyries?” the teacher asked with a smile.

The students below loudly responded with their curiosity.

“Then, shall we let our two excellent Valkyries tell us how they were ranked?” Saying this, the teacher looked towards Elysia.

The other students in the class also turned their gazes to the two of them.

Elysia smiled, then stood up.

“Teacher, Hua and my ranking were because we accepted a mission,” Elysia said.

Upon hearing the word “mission,” the students in the class became even more curious.

Can you receive suitable missions right after becoming a Valkyrie?

“Hua, why don’t you tell them?

After all, you know more about the details of this mission,” Elysia said, patting Fu Hua’s shoulder.

Fu Hua looked up at Elysia, then stood up.

“The ranking mission that Elysia and I received was to help another squad intercept an escaping Emperor-Class Honkai Beast.” After speaking, Fu Hua sat back down.

“Mm, that’s right.

We just completed this mission, and then we were ranked at our current levels,” Elysia nodded, then also sat back down in her seat.

Since Fu Hua didn’t want to say too much, Elysia would also keep it brief, after all, she had to consider Hua’s wishes, didn’t she?

Seeing them both sit down, the students also looked at the teacher, wanting the teacher to explain what an Emperor-Class Honkai Beast was.

When the teacher heard this, she also looked at Elysia and Fu Hua in surprise.

She hadn’t expected the two of them to survive an Emperor-Class Honkai Beast.

And they even completed the interception mission.

No wonder their ranks were so high.

The teacher began to explain the differences between Honkai Beasts to everyone.

Aside from common Honkai Beasts, Emperor-Class Honkai Beasts were already extremely rare Honkai Beasts.

Moreover, the destructive power of an Emperor-Class Honkai Beast was immeasurable.

That’s how the teacher explained it.

When it came to discussing methods for dealing with Emperor-Class Honkai Beasts, the teacher paused for a moment.

Then she said, “Emperor-Class Honkai Beasts can generally only be eliminated by deploying S-Rank Valkyries or special forces.” Hearing the teacher say this, the students’ admiration for Elysia and Fu Hua grew even stronger.

To be able to face such an enemy and complete an interception mission, and then be ranked B and A, was already not considered high.

Elysia and Fu Hua, who were already famous within the academy, became even more famous just like that.

It might not seem tempting right now but who knows what the future holds?

“And If you’re enjoying it, drop a Power Stone for me!”
