Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

~ Watching Ganesha dissipate, Elysia walked over to Fu Hua.

“Hua, I remember, Emperor-Class Honkai Beasts generally don’t appear alone, do they?” “Hmm, an Emperor-Class Honkai Beast is usually accompanied by multiple Honkai Beasts of other ranks.” “Then where did this Emperor-Class Honkai Beast come from?” Elysia asked with a frown.

“I don’t know, but since it appeared in Shenzhou, it must be eliminated.” Fu Hua didn’t think too much about it.

After all, this Emperor-Class had already entered Shenzhou’s territory, and no matter what, it had to be killed before it caused casualties.

“I see, Hua, this mission, besides you wanting to take me to Mount Taixu, there must have been someone else who asked you to bring me out, right?” Elysia said with certainty.

“Yes, Otto asked me to bring you on a mission to test your abilities and grade you accordingly.” Fu Hua directly mentioned Otto.

Upon hearing it was Otto, Elysia sighed.

She knew Otto had noticed her.

But why did Otto still need Fu Hua to take her on a mission?

Could it be that Otto saw something in me again?

While Elysia was deep in thought, Fu Hua had already called for the aircraft to return.

The aircraft hovered above them, then lowered a rope.

“Elysia, let’s go.” Fu Hua patted Elysia.

“Ah, um, I know.” Then Elysia looked at the rope.

“We’re not going to climb up this rope, are we?” “Yes, is there a problem?” Fu Hua tilted her head.

Elysia immediately covered her nose, then took a breath.

“But I haven’t learned how to do that!

Hua, you can go up, but what about me?” “I see.” Fu Hua walked in front of Elysia, then turned her back.

“You can lie on my back, and I’ll take you up.” After speaking, Fu Hua squatted down.

Elysia wasn’t one to be overly delicate and immediately lay on Fu Hua’s back.

“Hold on tight.” Fu Hua reminded Elysia, then pulled herself up onto the aircraft with both hands on the rope.

By the time they were on the aircraft, Elysia’s head was still spinning.

“Hua, you just, like that, swoosh, and you were up?” Elysia said, still on Fu Hua’s back.

“Hmm, as long as you control the rhythm, it’s very easy.” Fu Hua nodded.

Elysia looked at the aircraft’s altitude.

Was it really easy?

“Elysia?” Fu Hua patted Elysia’s hand.

“Ah, I’m coming down now.” Elysia said, then quickly jumped off Fu Hua’s back.

“Indeed, Hua’s back makes me feel very safe.” Elysia said with a smile.

Fu Hua didn’t respond, just silently looked out at the desert.

Seeing Fu Hua ignore her, Elysia just shook her head, then sat down next to Fu Hua.

Sitting on the aircraft, Elysia began to ponder Otto’s purpose in testing her.

Was it to test her lower limit, or her upper limit?

Or rather, what kind of chess piece was she in Otto’s mind now?

Elysia had thought about becoming a chess player, but facing an opponent like Otto, who could play a back-and-forth game?

Anyway, Elysia felt she couldn’t do it.

Even if she knew some things about the future, she couldn’t do it.

After all, Otto was someone who had calculated the world.

On this point, Elysia still admired Otto very much.

In his eyes, there were no teammates, only useful opponents.

Everyone was his chess piece, only to achieve his ultimate goal.

Thinking of this, Elysia wanted to hear Fu Hua’s evaluation of Otto.

“Hua, what kind of person do you think Otto is?” Elysia cautiously asked the question.

“Otto is a businessman.” Fu Hua answered Elysia’s question concisely.

In Fu Hua’s mind, Otto was a calculating businessman.

He calculated everything clearly.

As long as it was something he arranged, even if there were some twists and turns in the process, the outcome would always be what he wanted.

Even if the outcome was not what he originally wanted, he would make it what he wanted.

“A businessman..

huh..” Elysia hadn’t thought of Fu Hua’s answer.

“Yes, Otto really is like a businessman, giving compensation and getting the results he wants.” “Then, Hua, what do you think Otto wants to get from Elysia?” “I don’t know, but as long as it’s not too bad an outcome, I will do my best to protect you.” Fu Hua gave this answer.

Elysia was stunned for a moment hearing this answer.

“Hua, you’re really breaking the rules!” Fu Hua looked strangely at Elysia, who was suddenly yelling.

She just didn’t want to see Elysia get hurt.

What was so rule-breaking about that?

Afterward, the two returned to the academy in silence.

Upon reaching the entrance of Elysia’s dorm.

“Remember to wake up early for training tomorrow.” Fu Hua said, then walked directly towards her own dorm.

Elysia looked at Fu Hua’s back, chuckled twice, then turned and opened her dorm room door.

After opening the door, Elysia saw the lit living room and immediately jogged over.

Looking at everyone gathered in the living room.

“Hi~ Elysia’s back!

Did everyone miss the cute Elysia ♬~” Elysia greeted the people in the living room.

Everyone responded with appropriate words.

“Sister Elysia, you’re back.” This was Mei.

“Sister Elysia!

How was the mission, was it fun!” This was Kiana.

“Sister Elysia.” This was Bronya, who walked directly to Elysia’s side.

“Welcome back, the mission wasn’t difficult, was it?” This was Himeko, who then took a big gulp of beer.

“It seems the mission wasn’t difficult.” This was Theresa, who said, crossing her arms.

“After all, it was just a lone Honkai Beast, and with Elysia and Fu Hua teaming up, it must have been easily resolved.” Elysia said, stroking Bronya’s head.

“So Sister Elysia, what kind of Honkai Beast did you encounter?

One of those really, really big Chariot-class ones?

Or a Temple-class one?

Could it be a Honkai Emperor?” Kiana said, lying on Mei’s lap.

Mei stroked Kiana’s hair and looked at Elysia.

“It was a Ganesha.” Elysia pulled Bronya to sit on the sofa.

“Ganesha?” Kiana scratched her head.

“Ganesha?!” Theresa and Himeko reacted strongly.

“How could they send the two of you to deal with Ganesha!” Himeko said angrily.

“No, I have to go talk to my grandpa!

He actually let my students take such a risk!” Theresa said, then ran upstairs.

“Teacher Himeko, what kind of Honkai Beast is Ganesha?” Mei asked, looking at the anxious Theresa.

“Ganesha is an Emperor-Class Honkai Beast.

It’s not time for you to encounter them yet.

You’ll be taught about this type of Honkai Beast next year.” Himeko briefly explained to Mei.

“Why would they assign such a mission to the two of you?” Himeko said, frowning, after calming herself down.

It might not seem tempting right now but who knows what the future holds?

“And If you’re enjoying it, drop a Power Stone for me!”
