Cutting-edge Technology: I Provide the Brains, the State Provides Everything

159: Helium-3 on the Moon: a potential energy reserve for humanity for millennia! When the ”Guanghan Celestial Palace,” filled with a sense of future technology and Eastern charm, appeared out of thin air on the desolate and silent far side of the Moon in the most unreasonable manner...

The entire world fell silent.

All the Western media and politicians who were secretly watching through various channels!

They all felt as if an invisible giant hand had tightly gripped their throats!

Their faces were pale!

Their bodies were cold!

Their minds were blank!

A Moon

Base?!

The Xia people actually managed to do it in just one short month!

Without anyone knowing, they built such a magnificent and futuristic super

city on the far side of the Moon?!

This...

How the hell are we supposed to compete now?!

Instantly!

The entire Western world was completely plunged into a doomsday-like silence and

despair!

They knew.

From this moment on!

The Moon, which they had once regarded as their “private property” and the first stepping stone to conquering the universe!

It now completely belonged to

Xia!

In stark contrast to this.

Were the 1.4 billion hardworking and kind ordinary citizens of Xia!

When they saw through television, the internet, and mobile phones,

Witnessing the Guanghan Celestial Palace, filled with hope and dreams, rising from the surface of the Moon!

The entire nation

erupted!

”Holy crap! What did I just see?! A Moon Base?! Is this real?!”

”Oh God! This is practically a miracle! Our Xia nation actually built a house on the Moon?!”

”This is awesome! Truly awesome! Starting today! I’m going to hype up our great Pangu Technology! And the great God Lu!”

”Hahahaha! Did you see the Western Alliance’s sons of bitches, looking like they just ate shit?! Awesome! This is so damn satisfying!”

Instantly!

The entire Xia national network was filled with cheers!

All the ordinary citizens who had previously felt numb and desperate due to their monotonous real lives!

Were all like a group of hyped-up maniacs!

Every single one felt proud and elated!

They shared in the glory!

They knew!

Starting today!

Their Xia nation would completely break free from the constraints of Earth, this small ”cradle”!

To welcome the even vaster and broader

Sea of

Stars!

And, at this moment.

Inside the ”Chang’e-1” lunar landing spacecraft.

Everyone looked with curiosity and shock at the desolate yet mysterious gray-white

world outside the window!

And the massive, hemispherical transparent

dome

city right before their eyes, filled with aesthetic power and futuristic technology!

”O-Oh God!”

”I-Is this our ’Guanghan Palace’?”

”It’s so damn magnificent!”

Even for them, who were the nation’s most vital personnel and had long been accustomed to major events!

They couldn’t help but gasp in amazement like children!

Lu Chen, meanwhile, acted like the most professional tour guide.

He calmly introduced them to his latest ”masterpiece.”

”Chiefs, please look.”

He pointed at the massive transparent dome.

”This dome is built entirely from our latest self-developed ’Dragon Scale’ composite material!”

”Its strength is ten times that of ’Dragon Bone’ alloy!”

”It is strong enough to withstand any meteorite impact from space!”

”Furthermore, it comes with a ’Controlled Ecological Cycle’ system!”

”It can perfectly simulate the most comfortable Jiangnan climate found on Earth!”

”Inside the dome, we can grow any plants we wish to grow!”

”And raise any animals we wish to raise!”

”Completely achieving self-sufficiency!”

Listening to Lu Chen’s ”Versailles-esque” introduction.

All the big shots present felt like they were listening to heavenly scripture!

They were utterly mesmerized!

Their hearts were surging!

They knew!

A brand new, great era belonging to their Xia nation, the

Moon

New Era!

Had quietly arrived!

”Alright, the tour ends here.”

Lu Chen clapped his hands, and for the first time, an extremely solemn and sacred expression appeared on his usually placid face!

”Next,”

”Is the true

purpose of our trip to the Moon!”

The moment he finished speaking!

The spacecraft slowly descended onto a vast plain outside the Guanghan Palace!

The hatch slowly opened!

A cold vacuum environment, filled with the scent of cosmic rays,

Rushed toward them!

Lu Chen took the lead and was the first to step off the spacecraft!

His dark eyes, vast as the universe, looked out at the silent, desolate, gray-white

land!

Yet, a crazy flame burned in his eyes, powerful enough to make the entire Moon tremble!

”heavenly craft!”

[Yes, Master.]

”Activate the ’Hou Yi’”

”Resource Exploration Program!”

[Command received.]

[The ’Hou Yi’ No. 1 Lunar Resource Exploration Program is launching!]

[Sending activation commands to one million ’genesis’ class Engineering Nanorobot Motherships.]

[Command successfully sent!]

The next second!

An unprecedented Moon

Great

Gold Rush,

that would drive the entire Earth insane,

officially raised the

curtain!

The sight of the hundred thousand silvery-white metallic spheres, which had been transported to the Moon in advance by transport ships!

Suddenly, and without warning, they simultaneously lit up with a golden

light filled with a greedy aura!

Then!

”Crack, crack.”

A crisp sound, like the shattering of eggshells, rang out!

The hundred thousand metallic spheres resembled living insect eggs!

They split open in the middle!

Releasing billions of nanorobots, ten thousand times smaller than grains of sand and virtually invisible to the naked eye!

Nano

Robots!

They were like platoons of disciplined micro-sappers!

Under the unified command of heavenly craft!

They frantically swept across the boundless, gray-white lunar soil!

Wherever they passed!

A miracle occurred!

The cold, silent, lifeless gray-white lunar soil!

Was peeled back layer by layer!

Revealing a terrifying treasure beneath, enough to drive any nation insane!

[Reporting, Master!]

[Detecting ultra-high purity Titanium Alloy Mineral Veins! Estimated reserves exceed one billion tons!]

[Reporting, Master!]

[Detecting massive Rare Earth Mineral Veins! Reserves are sufficient to meet Earth’s industrial needs for the next thousand years!]

[Reporting, Master!]

[Detecting...]

Listening to heavenly craft’s continuous ”good news” reports, filled with barely suppressed excitement.

Everyone’s eyes shone brightly!

Their breathing was rapid!

Their minds were blank!

We’re rich!

We are truly, damn rich!

With these virtually infinite rare resources!

What development would their Xia nation still worry about?!

What future would they still worry about?!

However,

This wasn’t what drove them the most insane.

What truly drove them mad was heavenly craft’s next sentence.

[Warning! Warning!]

For the first time, heavenly craft’s clear voice carried a trace of unprecedented trembling and

excitement!

[One thousand meters beneath the ’Aitken’ Basin at the Moon’s South Pole!]

[Detecting a super, super, super massive]

[Solid]

[Helium-3 Mineral Vein!]

[Its reserves, according to preliminary estimates,]

She took a deep breath and spoke word by word in a voice almost like a sleepwalker:

[Are sufficient to support the entire human civilization for the next]

[Ten thousand years of]

[Energy consumption!]
