Immortality begin with Alchemy Grandmaster

Chapter 2526: Chapter 928: Elder Fu Entrusts Orphans, Offspring of an Old Friend (Part 2)

Luo Chen straightforwardly said, ”There are quite a lot of sect disciples. A rough sweep counts over a hundred thousand, proving you haven’t been idle all these years.”

At the weakest time of the Shen Fu Sect, there were only about ten thousand people left.

In just over a decade, the numbers have doubled to this extent, showing Elder Fu’s efforts in his later years.

I suspect his current condition is largely related to being mentally and physically exhausted.

”But among them, there are very few with the potential!” Elder Fu murmured. ”Long ago, I started training successors, but either they died or were injured, or after much difficulty, I just cultivated a Ye Hua, who went ahead of me to the Netherworld.”

”Even though I have built up the foundation now, once I sit in meditation, a grand Nascent Soul Ascendant Sect, yet without a Nascent Soul True Master to preside over it, what is there to separate it from being a mere facade?”

Luo Chen was puzzled, ”Back then, I gave you no less than three Nascent Soul Formation Pills!”

Elder Fu smiled bitterly, ”All were used; the remaining two were given to others, but both failed. Ultimately, there’s not enough foundation.”

Luo Chen said without hesitation, ”If that’s still insufficient, I have extras here and can gift you another one or two pills.”

”You’re quite generous!” Elder Fu probably didn’t expect Luo Chen to be so generous, readily offering to give him Nascent Soul Formation Pills. However, he waved his hand. ”Forget it, my Shen Fu Sect also has a Nascent Soul Formation Technique itself, and the Nascent Soul Formation Pill is only an effective supplement. The biggest problem now is the lack of suitable talent for cultivation!”

What good are elixirs?

Without suitable talents for cultivation, no matter how many Nascent Soul Formation Pills there are, they can’t nurture a Nascent Soul True Master.

Think of how Luo Chen helped Cang Long transcend tribulation, spending a great deal of effort and time, to understand the difficulty involved.

Elder Fu once cultivated a True Master Ye Hua, completely giving his all.

But the young True Master Ye Hua, due to insufficient strength, left before Elder Fu.

Thus, now the Shen Fu Sect is facing the awkward situation of having no Nascent Soul True Master to preside.

And for a Nascent Soul Sect, once the gap of a top-level strong person occurs, the consequences are unimaginable.

”Luo Chen, I have an audacious request and hope you’ll agree!” Elder Fu said with extreme importance.

Luo Chen vaguely guessed something, hesitantly said, ”Are you hoping that after you leave, I’ll protect the Shen Fu Sect?”

Elder Fu nodded and then shook his head.

”Initially, that was my thought, but given your complicated situation now, I’m afraid it’s inconvenient to show up, so I gave up on that idea. Besides, how long can so-called protection last? In the end, doesn’t it still have to rely on itself?”

”Therefore, I wish to entrust some people to you.”

”Their future cultivation resources, you don’t have to worry about; I’ll arrange everything from Foundation Establishment Stage to Nascent Soul Stage.”

”All you need to do is take them away, place them in your far-flung Luo Tian Sect, living and growing with the Luo Tian Creed Cultivators.”

”When they have achieved their realms, no matter what happens to the Shen Fu Sect in the future, they can rely on those inheritances to rebuild the sect.”

Entrusting orphans, nothing less than this.

Luo Chen was somewhat familiar with this scenario.

He looked at the old man, ”Aren’t you afraid I might seize those resources or forcibly keep those good seedlings you singled out?”

Elder Fu looked at Luo Chen mockingly, ”Would you?”

Luo Chen shook his head; he wouldn’t.

Once he promised someone, he usually tried his best to fulfill it.

Wasn’t the Qin Flower River Li Family like this back then? Outsiders believed Luo Chen would strip the Li Family clean, but ultimately it was Li Yingzhang who became the Sect Master of Luo Tian Sect.

Not only did the clan continue, but his personal realm and status surpassed the peak times of the Li Family before.

Clearly, Elder Fu had inquired about the relevant situation.

Moreover, he trusted that he wouldn’t misjudge Luo Chen!

Luo Chen thought for a moment, nodded, ”Since it’s a friend’s request, it’s but a small effort for me, I can agree to this request. But I need to personally examine the relevant candidates, lest mixed in...”

Before Luo Chen finished speaking, Elder Fu sent out a Divine Consciousness Voice Transmission.

Three figures came in from outside the room.

”I understand your concerns, so the three selected are all from innocent backgrounds, disciples who grew up in Shen Fu Sect. Apart from their talent, I have tested their character and temperament; they won’t cause trouble for your Luo Tian Sect.” Elder Fu explained carefully.

Luo Chen acknowledged, looking at the three young people who came in.

Two men and one woman, all at the Early Stage Foundation Establishment.

Their cultivation level is not high, but being chosen by Elder Fu as Shen Fu Sect seeds for cultivation, they must have their outstanding qualities.

Elder Fu shouted, ”Hasten to pay your respects to the Alchemy Sect senior!”

The three did not hesitate, showing respectful salutes to Luo Chen, each introducing their names.

Especially the young woman, unexpectedly knelt before Luo Chen, giving a grand salute.

”Junior Chen Dongling greets the senior!”

Though it’s a grand gift, it’s crossing the boundaries of decorum.

A cultivator in their lifetime only respects the heavens, only bows to parents or mentors.

Though Luo Chen is a senior, he ultimately isn’t their master or kin, unworthy of such a grand gift.

Unless they abandon their Shen Fu Sect identity and completely join Luo Tian Sect, such a grand gift would be appropriate.

Of course, being fright-cowed and bowing subserviently to a strong person is not impossible.

Elder Fu was rather displeased, ”Dongling, why such discourtesy?”

However, Luo Chen raised a hand, interrupting Elder Fu’s words.

His sharp eyes steadfastly fixed on Chen Dongling, whose face was somewhat familiar.

He softly asked, ”You bear some resemblance to an old acquaintance of mine!”

Chen Dongling replied without hesitation, ”My late mother Chen Shuyi came from The Great River District, and during her lifetime, she often mentioned that while in the district there was a big brother who frequently looked after her. She seldom mentioned his name, but frequently spoke of the Dao name Dan Chenzi. If my guess is correct, the Alchemy Sect senior should be the big brother my late mother spoke of!”
