Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

”Commander, get the planks ready. As long as the big ship dares to get within a few hundred meters, we’ll throw the planks for leverage and jump onto the big ship. The ship’s energy weapons aren’t enough to hurt us.” Duoduo Kailai suggested once again to Zack Pudding.

”Brilliant!”

Zack Pudding’s eyes lit up.

They, as Platinum Warriors, could easily leap a hundred meters—just a few planks for momentum and they could reach the ship.

But if the distance was too great, the Platinum Warriors might get pulled away by the warship.

As the Limon Beastmen prepared, the Valor Ship continued its bombardment.

”Captain, the enemy isn’t heading toward us anymore. They seem to be concentrating on landing. The distance is too far, it’s hard to hit. Should we close in and have the Elemental Warriors bombard them together?” Yun Hai said to Yun Tao.

”Don’t approach—they have a wooden boat posted as a picket at the perimeter of their fleet. There are a few powerful fighters on that boat. If you get within five hundred meters, they’re likely to board the warship.” At that moment, Mr. Tai Zhong reminded them.

The wooden boat was precisely the one Zack Pudding, Duoduo Kailai, and the other six Platinum Warriors had readied with planks.

Their wooden boat shadowed whatever movement the Valor Ship made—if the warship adjusted course, they followed.

Mr. Tai Zhong wasn’t afraid of those six Platinum Warriors—given a little time, he could kill them easily. His combat power was far greater than Yi Tian imagined.

Yi Tian, on the other hand, didn’t know much about Qi Refiners.

Mr. Tai Zhong worried that Platinum Warriors might board and slaughter everyone else on the warship.

”Maintain a thousand-meter distance, bombard the enemy! If they get close, retreat at once!” Yun Tao ordered.

Mr. Tai Zhong had just joined today, but he was an A-level Qi Refiner. Before, to Yun Tao, this was out of reach.

The mighty fighters Mr. Tai Zhong spoke of were surely A-levels.

The Valor couldn’t possibly stand against them!

Only Commander Gu had assigned him fifty Thunder Element Soldiers.

What a shame!

This made Yun Tao and his crew resolve that, from now on, they would train hard to become expert gunners.

”Boom! Boom!”

And so, the warship slanted across, launching energy shells over and over—another ten volleys.

The result was a single Golden Cannonball grazing the corner of a small boat, causing limited casualties.

As the Valor Ship reached the west side of the Limon Beastmen, it held a thousand-meter distance, slowed, and raced alongside the beastmen’s fleet.

”Boom!”

”Crack!”

”Boom!”

”Crack!”

Three rounds of bombardment—two shells hit a small boat dead-on, smashing it to pieces.

At this moment, Yun Tao noticed the accuracy had improved considerably.

At lower speed, it was easier to hit.

Yi Tian watched the battle from the sky.

The Eastsea Falcon was over a hundred kilometers above sea level.

Yi Tian didn’t have the falcon fly lower because the enemy had two hundred archers.

Each wielded a High-Level Ox Horn Bow, blessed by the High Priest.

They could shoot with 700 attack power.

Yi Tian could withstand that thanks to his A-level Combat Armor, but Eastsea Falcon and the kiddos couldn’t.

The Eastsea Falcon was such a big target—any archer could hit it.

Otherwise, Yi Tian would’ve had Fourth Child reenact ”Red Cliffs Ablaze” long ago.

The Valor Ship’s first live fire—given the circumstances, they did well.

Take a beating, grow wise. Experience is built trial by trial. Yi Tian didn’t know much, so he could only let them figure things out step by step.

If the Valor Ship had months of training, these shabby little boats wouldn’t have a chance of landing.

”Boom!”

”Crack!”

The Valor fired four more volleys; the platinum cannon at the stern finally paid off. Though not a direct hit, its shell landed three meters from a small boat.

The powerful Qi Force ripped the boat in two.

Half the Limon Beastmen aboard were killed or wounded.

”Men, push harder! We’re almost ashore—this is our chance for revenge!”

Zack Pudding roared in fury, determined to catch the Evil Lord and tear him apart bone by bone.

He regretted not trading for more boats outside the mist— even if they were tiny crews, it wouldn’t be such a massacre.

During Summer Beast season, the indigenous peoples could trade and communicate with Crystal Balls outside the mist.

Once inside the mist, everyone got the same treatment.

The indigenous people’s Crystal Balls were of two sorts—one was the Communication Crystal, and anyone with a bit of rank could have one.

Yi Tian had seized quite a few Communication Crystals.

The other type was the portable trading Crystal Ball, and only the very highest ranks could possess it.

This sort of crystal, Yi Tian had only seized fewer than five.

”Revenge! Revenge!”

The Limon Beastmen had never been so humiliated. Furious, their shouts shook the sky.

They rowed harder, putting in every ounce of strength, as if they were driven by electric motors.

Heave-ho! Heave-ho!

”Boom!”

”Crack!”

The Valor Ship’s Golden Cannon struck another wooden boat, blasting it in two.

”Screech!”

The Eastsea Falcon swooped low above the Valor Ship—Yi Tian hopped down onto the deck.

”Salute to Lord!”

Everyone, seeing Yi Tian, bowed at once.

Yi Tian raised his hand to halt the order: ”Cease fire! Increase speed and head for the north shore of the territory.”

”Yes, sir!”

Yi Tian’s command was law—the warship immediately halted its bombardment. Crew in the Power Cabin pushed speed to 150 kilometers per hour. Waves parted as the ship sped for the north shore.

Zack Pudding and the beastmen were baffled—why did the big ship suddenly leave?
