Red Envelope Group of the Three Realms

”Line dancing is one of the hottest kind of dances in China recently. Almost all the middle-aged aunties and grannies are crazy about this dance!”

”I believe that you have heard something like this before; everything can be solved with line dancing between aunties! Two rounds of line dancing and everything is good again!”

”Next, let’s shake it with the music that I’m going to play now! The name of this song is called Little Apple!”

A familiar tune started to play on the radio after the voice of the broadcaster faded off in the background.

[You are my little apple! A fire, fire, fire, fire, fire that lights up my life!]

Frankly speaking, whether you are a music person, a funny guy or even an arrogant guy, this music would make you sing along, shake your head and move your legs. This is the true power of this song!

”What if… I teach those grannies how to do line dancing… It might just distract them from the fact that they are still virgins… Can it dissolve the hatred in their heart as well?” Chen was shaking his legs while thinking about this ultimate solution. The scene of teaching thousands of spirits line dancing together was too just too damn beautiful to imagine!

”Okay! I have made up my mind! I’m going to try it no matter what! It might just work well!”

Chen raised his eyebrows and made the decision inside his heart. He planned to record a tutorial clip of line dancing after sending Lan home safely.

….…..

At the South Lake Mansion, Lan Zhengguo was still like an ant on the hot pot. He had high hopes that Luo would solve this case. But, Luo herself didn’t even have an idea of where to begin to solve this case. She was just as worried as Lan Zhengguo. Let alone solving the case, there was not a single lead surface after two full days. As an inspector of Six Doors Organization, she was embarrassed by herself for not being to solve the case as soon as possible. This actually affected the reputation of Six Doors Organization.

”Dad!”

A pitiful voice echoed to Lan Zhangguo’s ears.

”Mengchen!”

Lan Zhengguo was all lighted up when he saw his daughter walked towards him. Mengchen rarely saw her dad being so excited. Thus, she was touched as well. She cried when she hugged her dad. Although she could not remember most of the things that had happened for the past two days, she did feel like she had been through life and death situation deep inside her heart. It was a rebirthing moment for her when she got to see her dad again.

”Mengchen, are you alright? Where have you been for the past two days?”

Lan Zhengguo asked immediately.

”I have no idea what happened to me for the past two days. Luckily, Chen found me. If not, I don’t think I can see you again…” She rubbed her teary eyes and said.

”It doesn’t matter what happened to you! I’m glad that you come home without any injuries!”

Lan Zhengguo rubbed his eyes and looked at Chen seriously. He bowed at Chen and said in a deep voice, ”Mr. Chen, thank you so much…”

”You are most welcome! It’s just an easy task.” Chen shook his hands and said.

What! Easy task?!

Everyone was shocked when they heard Chen’s words.

The head of the family, Lan Zhengguo had his eyes wide opened in shock. Two elders at the pinnacle phase of physical stage; Uncle Qin and Uncle Feng were completely stunned. The most expressive award went to Luo Puti. Her mouth became an O shape. They could not believe Chen said this was just an easy job!

All the powerful individuals in the house failed to find any single lead, even after they had gathered their efforts together. If Lan was not brought back home safely, Chen would definitely have been beaten up like a criminal!

Well, since Chen managed to bring back Lan home safely, he had earned everyone’s respect in this mansion! Lan Zhengguo looked at Chen from a completely different angle right now. His heart started to shaken up by Chen’s capability. He was considering whether to tell Chen about his family’s tough situation. It was not necessary for him to stop her daughter and Chen being together if Chen could solve his family problem.

On the other hand, Uncle Feng did not like Chen initially. Now, Chen became one of his favorite persons! Even though he did not say anything, he just decided secretly that he owed Chen a big favor! He would help Chen whenever Chen needed his help! For Luo, she was still petrified. She thought that she could defeat Chen in every matter. She was wrong the moment Chen brought back Lan home safely. It crushed her confidence completely! She needed some time to recover from the huge impact that Chen brought to her heart. One could not argue with facts. Thus, she had to admit that she just lost to Chen.

”Mr. Chen! You have done a great favor to our family! Let me know if you need any help in the future! I will do my best to help you as long as the matter is not illegal!” Lan Zhengguo was very serious about it. The way he addressed became extremely polite and respectful. Less than five persons had managed to earn his respect in Green Vine City. That was a truly genuine gratitude!

”Your words would mean a lot of things!”

Chen pouted and continued to say, ”I want to marry your daughter! Will you agree to it? It’s not illegal, right?”

”Erm…” Lan Zhengguo was completely speechless.

”Pssst… Asshole Xiaobei… What are you talking about?” Lan Mengchen said shyly.

”Hmph! You are one true asshole! You just committed a multiple marriage crime! How dare you say that this is not illegal?” Luo rolled her eyes and Chen and thought.

Chen finally decided to say something when he saw Lan Zhengguo was being put in an awkward situation, ”I know you will not promise me that. I will hold on to the favor that you owe me first. I will look for you when I encounter something that I cannot solve.”

”Okay… Okay… Okay… I owe you a favor!” Lan Zhengguo sighed in relief.

”Alright… I should leave first and allow Mengchen to have a good rest.” Chen did a simple parting with the rest of the people and left the mansion. However, Luo decided to stay for a while to ask Lan about the things that happened in past two days. Unfortunately, she could not remember a single thing at all. There was nothing that Luo could do about it. Thus, she left the mansion as well.

….….

Chen went straight to his room upon reaching his house. At then, he was going complete a hard task. He turned on his computer and looked for a few line dancing videos involving the Little Apple song. He then chose the best one from it. After that, he took a few pieces of paper and drew out the steps after he finished analyzing the dancing clip. Also, he included a brief explanation for every single step. Finally, he made it into a book. It looked like one of those martial art scrolls.

”Now, it’s all up to you to dissolve those grannies’ hatred!”

Chen put the line dancing manual into the Red Envelope and sent it to Mengpo.

ED Note: Little Apple by Chopstick Brothers. There’s a version of this song covered by T-ARA. Also became a heated topic when a fanmade MV of it featuring N.Korea’s Kim Jong-Un drove the guy furious enough to send death threats to the party responsible for creating it. (Google Kim Jong-Un furious over viral dance video for more information). Personally, I sometimes sing a disgusting version of it to my close friends – by changing the lyrics from ’Little Apple’ to ’Little Durian’.
