A 10,000-fold Increase System, Picking Up Garbage and Becoming a Technology Giant

93: Chapter 93 Business Trip to Northwest China for TrainingMagic City, a bright and sunny morning.

Su Qingyue stood in the human resources office of the community hospital where she had worked for several years, holding several freshly stamped forms in her hand, her mood somewhat complicated. Outside the window, the familiar plane trees rustled, and the faint sounds of children crying and old people’s gentle comforting drifted through the corridor; the smell of disinfectant was as familiar as ever.

“Xiao Su, I’m really reluctant to see you go.” Sister Zhang from the Human Resources Department sighed and handed her the last file folder. “You’re the most meticulous and patient nurse in our hospital; everyone likes you. I heard you’re going to... start a business? Medical equipment?”

Su Qingyue took the file folder, revealing a soft but firm smile. “Yes, Sister Zhang. I’m planning to work with a friend on some more cutting-edge medical equipment research and development. I want to see if I can help more people in a new way. I’ve learned a lot in the hospital over the past few years, and I’m especially grateful to everyone.”

“It’s a good thing for young people to have ideas!” Sister Zhang patted her hand. “Don’t forget your old home when you become successful in the future!”

While they were talking, Director Wang hurriedly pushed open the door, a trace of anxiety on her face. “Qingyue! It’s a good thing you’re still here!”

“Director Wang, what’s wrong?” Su Qingyue asked.

“Sigh, it’s that counterpart support training base project in the Northwest!” Director Wang wiped the sweat from her forehead. “Dr. Li, who was originally scheduled to go next week for preliminary medical support and equipment debugging, had a sudden cerebral infarction in his family’s elderly member. He has to go back and take care of them and has taken a long leave of absence. But the base there is pressing for time; the window for winter medical security preparation in the plateau region is very short, and the hospital can’t find a suitable and experienced person to fill in at short notice...”

She looked at Su Qingyue with a pleading gaze. “Qingyue, I remember you were very interested in plateau emergency rescue and special environment nursing before, and you’ve self-studied quite a bit and even actively signed up for relevant training? And you’re more familiar with the operation and principles of various medical equipment than the average nurse. Look... could you do the hospital a favor? Just for a week, ten days at most! It’s mainly to assist the medical staff there in getting familiar with the new equipment we brought over, and to do some basic health screening and emergency training. The hospital will cover all airfare and accommodation, and there’s a special allowance!”

Su Qingyue was stunned for a moment. She did indeed have a strong interest in plateau medicine; her previous self-study and training were also to enrich herself, and she hadn’t expected them to come in handy now. She glanced at the resignation documents she had just finished processing and then thought about the medical equipment company she was preparing—going to the Northwest to get in touch with front-line needs, especially medical pain points in special environments, might be of great benefit to the company’s future product direction.

Only... the time was a bit tight, and it felt a bit strange to go on a business trip as a “hospital staff member” right after resigning. Most importantly, on Chen Fan’s side... Seeing her hesitation, Director Wang quickly added, “I know you just resigned, but the hospital can make a special exception and count you as an externally hired expert or a short-term consultant! Qingyue, this mission is really important; it concerns the safety and training quality of a large number of medical staff going to the plateau after the start of spring next year. The hospital really can’t find anyone more suitable than you right now!”

Thinking that she could learn on the front lines of the plateau and help the hospital solve an urgent problem, Su Qingyue was moved.

She nodded. “Alright, Boss, I’ll go. When do we leave?”

“That’s great!” Director Wang was overjoyed. “The earliest flight is tomorrow afternoon! I’ll have the office book your ticket and handle the temporary procedures right away! I’ll email you the equipment list and mission briefing later!”

The matter was settled. Su Qingyue hurried home to pack her luggage and called Chen Fan on the way.

“Chen Fan, there’s an unexpected situation...” She explained the whole story. “I think it’s a good learning opportunity, and I can also help the hospital through a difficult time, so I agreed. I’m leaving tomorrow afternoon and will be gone for about a week to ten days.”

On the other end of the phone, Chen Fan was silent for a few seconds. “Go if you want to, just stay safe.” Chen Fan’s voice was as steady as ever, carrying support. “The environment in the plateau region is special; bring more warm clothes and protective gear. Send me the flight information and the detailed address of your destination. Keep in touch every day.”

“Mm, I know. You too, don’t get too tired.” Su Qingyue felt a warmth in her heart. “The company is just short of some office equipment now.”

“It’s fine, just let Hao Zi prepare those.” Chen Fan chuckled. “By the time you get back, I should have all the equipment ready.”

Hanging up the phone, Su Qingyue quickened her pace in packing. She was full of anticipation for the upcoming trip to the Northwest. But after Chen Fan put down the phone, his brow furrowed slightly, and the trace of unease in his heart caused by Long Zaitian seemed to intensify a bit more.
