A 10,000-fold Increase System, Picking Up Garbage and Becoming a Technology Giant

57: Chapter 57 Sorting Robots Significantly Improve EfficiencyNext came time. Chen Fan’s main focus was entirely on manufacturing machines for the members of the Spark Alliance.

Chen Fan calculated that over 100 machines were needed in total, which was no small project.

Preparing the raw materials was now a tricky problem. Wang Defu was running around to garbage collection sites, and Lin Hao had to go order trucks to form a fleet. The task of collecting the raw materials fell solely to Chen Fan himself.

But even if all three of them worked together, efficiency would still be an issue.

Chen Fan was currently standing before a mountain of garbage.

The newly designated ”Initial Raw Material Stockpile Area” for Fanxing Technology was astonishingly large, the size of two standard football fields. At this moment, it was piled high with ”cargo” continuously hauled in by Wang Defu from the recycling network—not neat cargo containers, but literal mountains of trash.

Scrapped cars were crushed into twisted lumps of iron, discarded appliance casings piled up into hills, construction rebar tangled like a mess of wires. Various industrial scraps and metal shavings were mixed in, forming a steel jungle reeking of rust and machine oil.

This was the ”rations” Chen Fan had prepared for nearly a thousand ”Stardust Material Standard Production Units,” and also the raw materials for assembling the machines.

”Fan Zi, relying just on us is definitely not feasible. We couldn’t handle it even if we worked non-stop,” Lin Hao muttered, unable to help himself as he looked at the endless piles of scrap before him.

Hiring a large workforce? The costs were high, efficiency low, and there were safety risks like cuts from sharp metal edges or injuries from heavy falling objects. More importantly, if some spies from Long Corporation slipped in to cause sabotage, that would be troublesome.

Standing on the observation platform at the edge of the stockpile area, Chen Fan looked down at the steel junkyard beneath his feet and said calmly, ”Then I’ll just build robots first.”

No sooner had he spoken than Chen Fan directly connected with Xiao Zhi, instructing it to design a Sorting Robot model that balanced strength and precision based on the needs of raw material sorting.

Following the robot model and parameters provided by Xiao Zhi, he found some suitable materials, activated the ”Thought Anchor” Amplification, and directly amplified the scrap components into towering steel beasts, each three meters tall.

He had Xiao Zhi connect them to the intelligence module. Instantly, their cold metal shells lit up with an eerie blue glow.

”Command confirmed. Sorting Robot core protocols loading... 1%... 50%... 100%! 3D environmental scan and modeling complete... Material characteristics database matching successful, covering 128 material types including steel, copper, aluminum, plastic... Coordinated operation algorithm activated, supporting multi-unit synchronized sorting without interference... Network permissions established, connected to Xiao Zhi’s master control system.”

A full 10 steel beasts. With these capable assistants, Chen Fan could stop worrying about raw material sorting altogether.

Chen Fan brewed a cup of hot tea, leaned against the observation platform’s railing, and watched the busy figures of the Sorting Robots with a satisfied look on his face. As the mechanical arms swung, heavy scrap steel was effortlessly grabbed and accurately categorized; tiny metal shavings were swept clean by magnetic suction cups, leaving none behind; even dangerous residues hidden within the scrap piles were precisely identified by sensors and collected separately.

At this rate, the originally planned one-month schedule could be completed at least half the time early.

”I... holy shit!” Lin Hao watched, eyes wide and blood boiling, unable to hold back a curse. ”This... this is too insane! It’s like ten demolition crews on steroids! Now, even a few more garbage mountains wouldn’t be a problem!”

Chen Fan turned his head and looked at Lin Hao, who was still in shock, asking calmly, ”What about your end? How’s the search for the logistics fleet vehicles going?”

Lin Hao snapped out of his daze and immediately said, ”According to plan, focusing on bargains in the second-hand market! The first batch of twenty heavy trucks is already settled. Their condition is all good, and they’ll all be ready first thing tomorrow morning! The cost is more than half less than buying new vehicles outright.”

”Good.” Chen Fan nodded, a glint of sharp light flashing in his eyes. ”Once the trucks arrive, I’ll personally perform the Amplification.”

A complete modification plan had already taken shape in his mind:

The vehicle body structure would undergo extreme Amplification, making its strength comparable to military armored vehicles, capable of withstanding rough mountain roads and severe impacts. Even if pierced by rebar, the overall frame would remain stable.

The engine and chassis would break through their original factory limits, Amplified for super reliability and powerful performance. They would not only easily haul hundreds of tons of raw materials but also adapt to various complex road conditions like mud and steep slopes.

Critical parts like the fuel tank, tires, and electrical circuits would have additional integrated passive defense and emergency functions. The fuel tank would be fitted with an explosion-proof layer.

The tires would use puncture-resistant materials, and the electrical circuits would be equipped with an automatic power cut-off protection system, eliminating any safety hazards.

Most importantly, each vehicle would become a mobile node in Xiao Zhi’s network, equipped with high-definition cameras, infrared sensors, and gas detectors. They would possess all-weather environmental perception and real-time alarm capabilities. Even when traveling in remote wilderness, the vehicle’s status could be monitored at any time.

Just then, Xiao Zhi sent an alert: ”Boss, detection indicates that Long Zaifei, the eldest son of Long Group, has arrived in Modu today.”

Chen Fan’s brow furrowed. Their progress needed to accelerate...
