Witch: Accumulate Experience Through The Knight Breathing Technique

Chapter 2919: Chapter 593: Seven Calamities Ancient Clan! The Return of the Overlord!

Its body was as strong as that of a giant and simultaneously mastered seven types of magic. At that time, many were optimistic about its ascension to supremacy.

Unfortunately, talent attracts envy, and shortly after advancing to level ten, the Seven-colored Scale Master fell. At that time, the Four Evil Gods of Chaos wreaked havoc on the Seven-Colored Empire. Fighting one against four, with unparalleled strength, it contended with the four Intermediate Gods for a long time, but regrettably still perished.

Munks seemed to have exhausted the fortune of the Seven-Colored Scale Clan. After that, no level ten powerhouse could emerge from this clan, and they were further targeted by the Lord of Chaos. Over a long evolutionary process, they gradually split into seven tribes, which are the current Qilin Clans.

Nowadays, although the Qilin Clans, each mastering single elements, have good individual talent, their population is small. Nonetheless, the proportion of level six experts is much higher than that of wizards, and their individual average strength ranks among the top in all clans.

Their biggest problem is the inability to produce a level ten being. No matter how powerful the lower and mid-levels are, they can’t be considered a major civilization.

Faced with the astral world or other black forces, they have no power to resist, can only passively wander, unable to settle down, let alone develop.

It is said that because the Seven-colored Scale Master touched the Chaos Authority, threatening the status of the Chaos Wasteland, the astral world had to eradicate it.

The civilization of the Seven-colored Scale Master had no top-level powerhouse like Edmund to back them up. The Lord of Chaos could destroy them in minutes if he wished.

The seven Qilin Clans of later generations have never given up trying to fuse again, longing to return to the glorious days of the Seven Calamities Ancient Clan. However, the more they fuse, the more problems arise.

Either they break down and turn into madmen, or they entirely lose their extraordinary bloodline, in turn polluting the existing Qilin bloodline.

Over time, this behavior became ”forbidden.”

Red Ghost saw this strange man simultaneously controlling wind and water, bloodthirsty and senseless, clearly a fusion with the Green Scale Clan. It quickly retreated: ”You... you Black Scale Clan are truly mad, by any means necessary.”

Black Ghost said coldly, ”The ways of the world are such that what unites must divide, and what divides must unite. The times have changed. Look at the once-glorious Seven Calamities Ancient Clan, what has become of it now? And look at the wizard civilization, already surpassing us by far.”

”Nonsense! Even if we return to the ancient clan, do you think the astral world could tolerate us? The Lord of Chaos has been watching us all along!” said Red Ghost.

”Humph, that’s better than doing nothing!”

”Do nothing, and you’ll never make mistakes!”

”Without risk, there’s no progress!”

”What good is progress? In the end, if another Seven-colored Scale Master comes, won’t they still be wiped out by the Lord of Chaos? It’s all in vain; at least we’re still alive now.”

”Talking to you is like playing music to a cow. Let’s decide life and death today! You are not fit to lead the Red Scale Tribe!”

Four level nine experts’ auras clashed, shaking the Black Gold Great World, until a silver spaceship appeared in the void, its hatch opening. A dashing black-armored swordsman stepped out, nibbling on sunflower seeds, smiling as he waved:

”You’ve been fighting for a thousand years, why not give me some face and sit down to talk? The way you’re fighting won’t kill anyone.”

Both Black Ghost and Red Ghost turned their heads simultaneously:

”It’s none of your damn business?!”

The two continued fighting, but gradually felt something wrong, as if they had seen this person somewhere before...

Damn, it’s the Dusk Palace Master!

The one who, at level eight, slew level nine, and at level nine, slew level ten, a fierce individual chased by countless experts across the Multidimensional Plane yet unharmed!

The two quickly stopped, exchanged glances, remained silent for a moment, then Red Ghost asked: ”I have seen the Dusk Palace Master, but this is a private matter of our clan.”

Levi shook his head and smiled:

”This is indeed your private matter, but will fighting like this solve anything? Currently, five of the Seven-Colored Scale Clans inhabit Nora, with a momentum far exceeding before.

The Green Scale Clan, the Green Qilin Clan, and the White Scale Clan each have two level nine experts. The leader of the Green Qilin Clan, the Star Splitter, is even at level nine late stage, with a future potential of level ten. Though we of all clans are declining, what’s the point of constant fighting?

Besides, this tiny place in the Black Gold World has resources less than one-tenth thousand of Nora. Is it worth sacrificing so many of your people?

If you have this energy, why not return to Nora with me? Frankly, I am currently aiding all Seven-Colored Scale Clan populations across the Multidimensional Plane.

It’s all for the day when we can revive the glory of the Seven Calamities Ancient Clan and produce level ten, even level eleven powerhouses.

Can’t you see? The reason the Seven-Colored Scale Clan doesn’t develop isn’t because you’re stupid or not working hard... It’s because the lofty Lord of Chaos doesn’t want you to rise. The death of the Seven-colored Scale Master was because the Lord of Chaos feared it becoming too powerful and one day coveting its Chaos Authority.

If the root problem isn’t solved, you’ll remain a fringe clan of the Multidimensional Plane, fighting to death over tiny resources, embroiled in schemes.

The reason for your inter-clan wars among the Seven-Colored Scale Clan could very well be a ploy by the Lord of Chaos. Continuing like this will only benefit it... Understand the primary and secondary contradictions, everyone.

I say, if you must fight, fight the astral world, clear out those parasites of the Multidimensional Plane, end the history of gods, and create our own legend!”

Levi’s speech left Red Ghost, Black Ghost, and all warriors of the two clans speechless... They blindly fought for so long, hating their kin to the bone, seemingly having almost forgotten the ancient past and its grievances.
