Witch: Accumulate Experience Through The Knight Breathing Technique

Chapter 2918: Chapter 593: Seven Calamities Ancient Clan! The Lord Returns!

Two years later.

Nora Calendar 1722, Blood Battle 1610.

Land of Oblivion, Black Gold World.

As one of the few places rich in resources, this has been a strategic focal point for powers since antiquity. A thousand years ago, the Black Scale Clan swept through the lands and claimed ownership of the mines.

But soon after, the Red Scale Tribe also moved to the Land of Oblivion. These two clans naturally clash, unable to coexist like water and fire, with ancestral grudges accumulating over generations.

Hatred reached its peak in the Black Gold World, erupting like a volcano. Thus began the thousand-year Black Gold War, with generations of clan members fighting fiercely until now.

On the battlefield, the two clans invested over a hundred level 6 and above experts, with commanders all being level 9 experts. The lower-ranking scales clan members were countless.

Such a scale of war is already at the top level in the Land of Oblivion.

The Black Gold World was divided into two, one side a scorched earth for thousands of miles, the other side with torrents of black water, colliding in the center to form a sky-high white mist that permeates the horizon, forming a natural boundary.

On this day, for certain reasons, another major battle erupted, with the sounds of slaughter echoing throughout the battlefield. The level 9 Black Scale Clan and level 9 Red Scale Tribe occasionally fought hand-to-hand, sometimes clashing with water and fire, in intense combat.

Black Ghost Nick and Red Ghost Rex, the two pinnacle figures of the Black Gold battlefield, are also the leaders of their respective clans, both at level 9 middle stage cultivation.

Their strengths are evenly matched, having fought for a thousand years without a conclusive victory; today one wins, tomorrow the other. But this time, Red Ghost was particularly confident.

Looking at the old rival it had been confronting morning and night, it offered surrender, saying, ”Admit defeat, Black Ghost, this decades-long grudge should come to an end.”

Black Ghost sneered coldly:

”Indeed, it should end. This Black Gold mine was discovered by us, get out!”

Red Ghost snapped its fingers.

”Haha, unaware of impending doom... Red Dog, come forth.”

On the ground, flowing flames carved out a giant array a hundred miles wide, from which a red-haired giant dog emerged, towering tens of thousands of feet high, exuding the momentum of a level 9 early stage.

Legendary Creature, Red Prison Demon Mastiff, this large dog resembles a Tibetan Mastiff, with robust and powerful limbs comparable to the Golden Lion, drooling incessantly.

”Woof woof woof!”

The demon mastiff transformed into a ray of red light, rushing towards Black Ghost, engulfed in thousands of miles of red flames.

Black Ghost’s expression slightly changed.

”No wonder you are so confident; you’ve managed to tame such a legendary giant beast... Alas, after fighting for a thousand years, your wife still doesn’t understand you better than I do. I saw you disappear for a year and knew you were looking for a trump card, how could I not have a defense prepared?”

A shadow soared through the air, delivering a punch to the chest of the Red Dog, causing the giant mastiff to wince in pain and fly backwards. It was an exceedingly robust figure, covered in blue-black scale armor and simultaneously wielding the power of Earth and Water. Its gaze was fierce, with blood-red eyes fixed on Red Dog, bloodthirsty and seemingly devoid of reason.

Seeing this, Red Ghost’s face underwent a dramatic change: ”Black Ghost, have you gone mad? Your Black Scale Clan actually secretly bred the Forbidden Scale Clan!”

The world did not know that the Black Scale and Red Scale Clans were originally one and the same long ago.

During antiquity, on the Multidimensional Plane, there existed a clan with such power that they ranked among the top ten in the Pan-Plane, known as the Seven Calamities Ancient Clan.

Also referred to as the Seven-Colored Scale Clan.

Although the Ancient Clan was not as innately powerful as giants, their bodies were still exceptional. They were born with control over at least one elemental power.

The fewer types of elemental power they mastered, the faster they grew. Conversely, they grew slower but were nearly unbeatable against opponents of the same realm, able to fight ten opponents single-handedly.

When the Seven Calamities Ancient Clan was flourishing, wizard civilization was still in the archaic Antiquity Age, far inferior to the scales clan. The Ancient Clan established the mighty Seven-Colored Empire.

At that time, the Seven-Colored Empire had numerous level 9 experts, numbering in the hundreds... But strangely enough, despite having such a high number of level 9s, they could not produce even a single level 10 strongman; in other civilizations, at least ten would have been expected.

So despite a cloud of upper-echelon experts, this clan couldn’t break through to become a top-level clan; otherwise, they should have been able to become second only to the Giant Empire in civilization. Until one day, a remarkable man appeared.

That was the ninth generation Seven Disasters Country Master, Munks, who was born able to control the energy of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, initially thought to be a natural waste body.

Similar to wizards, mastering too many sects would inevitably slow growth cultivation. However, unlike wizards, the Children of Chaos could actively choose single cultivation and specialization, while the Ancient Clan born with four elements had to passively accept, unable to specialize.

Originally, the growth rate of the Ancient Clan was far surpassed by wizards; even if they mastered only a single elemental, if compared to wizards, their growth rate would be at the level of double affinity. It couldn’t be compared to the Children of the Elements among wizards.

The difficulty of a natural waste body is unimaginable.

Munks, as a remarkable man, naturally sought to defy conventions; although his talent was poor, he was extremely diligent, exceptionally kind-hearted, and very lucky with good fortune and connections.

Despite slow cultivation, he always managed to break through with thrilling close calls to imminent limits, sometimes aided by benefactors, sometimes fortunate with serendipity.

Thus, he unexpectedly reached the ninth-level realm and ultimately shattered the shackles, becoming the first and only level 10 strongman of the Seven Calamities Ancient Clan.

Munks, after reaching level 10, integrated Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water into one, mastering Chaotic Power, and expanded his mastery to Thunder, Gold, Frost, becoming an unprecedented seven-element energy master, self-titled Seven Calamities God, also known as ”Seven-colored Scale Master.”

After reaching level 10, the Seven-colored Scale Master became an exceptional figure among level 10s, apart from the top strongmen in the Giant Empire, akin to a powerful leader.
