Venerated Venomous Consort

Di Fuyi looked at the fruit and then back at her. His were eyes closed as he said, ”Peel off the skin, please.”

What a particular person! Gu Xijiu was lazy to argue with him, so she took out a fruit knife and started peeling.

Di Fuyi looked at the knife in Gu Xijiu’s hand and said, ”You have so many knives.”

”Of course! Would you prefer me to use the saber with seven colors to peel the fruit? Or the scalpel which I’ve just used to cut your finger?”

Di Fuyi stopped speaking and watched her peel the fruit.

She was skillful in the craft, and within no time the peeled skin dropped spirally with an even thickness. It looked beautiful.

”Do you always help others to peel fruits?”

Gu Xijiu replied with an ”Ummmmmmm” and then continued peeling. A killer needed stable hands. Peeling and carving fruits were one of her training methods. At that time, the fruits they peeled could be arranged in a long line, and sometimes they hit them as targets.

Di Fuyi eyes darkened, and he stopped talking.

After Gu Xijiu was done with peeling, she passed the fruit to him and said, ”Alright, it’s peeled!”

The shaped of the fruit she peeled was beautiful and aligned to the aesthetic value Di Fuyi placed on things. He seemed to be somewhat unsatisfied, ”This fruit is too common. It’s the same as the fruit you peeled for others, right? Can you to peel a special one.”

Gu Xijiu, ”…” She threw the fruit directly at him. ”It’s up to you if you want to have it! There’s no special one!”

If he was so particular about what fruit he had in the middle of nowhere, Gu Xijiu felt sympathetic to his attendants at the Fucang Palace as it was very tiring to serve this person!

When she was about to sit down, Di Fuyi raised his hand and pulled her into his embrace! Was this person addicted to hugging others?

When Gu Xijiu wanted to break loose, he handed the fruit back to her, ”Since you can’t give me something else, you should know how to carve a name on it, right? Carve my name on it!”

Gu Xijiu, ”…”

Seeing his determined black eyes, Gu Xijiu was almost speechless.

”I sympathize with your attendants.” Gu Xijiu said while she took over the fruit to carve his name.

While looking at the carving, Di Fuyi said, ”They are very fortunate indeed. Many want to be my attendants but do not have the opportunity. Please carve nicer; your writing isn’t ugly!”

Gu Xijiu frowned and threw the fruit back at him, ”Just accept it, I’m not a calligrapher!”

Di Fuyi received the fruit, spun it on his fingertip to appreciate the carving for a moment and then, it disappeared.

Gu Xijiu, ”…You’ve kept it away?” She knew he would not be able to swallow it directly!

Di Fuyi looked at her while said earnestly, ”My name is on it, don’t you think that I’d eat it myself?”

Gu Xijiu pursed her lips and kept quiet. She decided to let him be. After all, she had done what she needed to do. She had shown the utmost tolerance and patience toward this fault-finding person.

As she had been busy for a long time, she was feeling exhausted indeed. Therefore, she sat on a stone beside to meditate. When she was about to calm herself down, a voice was heard. ”Your meditation style is incorrect, change it.” Di Fuyi said.

Gu Xijiu was speechless again, ”…” Because she did not have spiritual power, she had been using the style she used to practice internal power in her previous life as she felt that it was quite suitable for her little body.

”Use the Goose Returning South Style.” Di Fuyi continued.

Gu Xijiu was confused, what was that meditation style?

”Haven’t you learned it yet? I thought you know everything.” Di Fuyi walked to her, ”Let me teach you.”

He adjusted both her hands and legs himself and told her the corresponding breathing methods, ”Try it.”
