Possessive & Addicted: The CEO Could Never Let Her Go

Chapter 736: Chapter 736: Slept with Sixth Brother

”Sixth Brother... Sixth Brother... wake up...”

Xue Xiangtong patted the person sitting on the floor. He just slowly opened his eyes and then closed them again.

Mu Shaojie mentioned offhandedly that he had nowhere to go for the New Year.

Xue Xiangtong brought him home.

He bought a lot of cigarettes, alcohol, and tea as a gesture of respect for Xue Jianshu and Guo Xiaorong.

And so, on New Year’s night, the father and son drank too much.

Xue Jianshu went directly to lie in bed, still mumbling drunken words, saying he had no sense of presence in this family.

Guo Xiaorong was taking care of him and ended up hearing a lot of heartfelt words.

Xue Xiangtong looked at Mu Shaojie, who was lying directly on the floor, ”Sixth Brother, don’t sleep here, you’ll catch a cold! Let me take you home!”

Mu Shaojie slowly sat up, ”Tong Tong, do you ever feel that you’re very happy?”

”Of course I’m happy!” Xue Xiangtong laughed. ”I’m the only daughter of my parents, and they love me! Even though our family is just an ordinary one, happiness can’t be measured by money.”

Mu Shaojie nodded: ”Yes.”

He was different. With five brothers ahead of him, he was part of the group most neglected by their parents.

And he was just that.

His father’s career wasn’t going very well.

His mother was a genius scientist, only giving birth but not raising.

Because she definitely didn’t have time.

But what he didn’t know was why his parents didn’t use contraception?

Was it a lack of knowledge about these things?

There were many children in their family; the firstborn and the last were cherished treasures.

The children born in between were naturally overlooked.

It’s likely this is the case in many families with too many children.

”Sixth Brother, if you like our family, just come anytime. My dad enjoys drinking with you.” Xue Xiangtong saw how lonely he was during the New Year’s, and couldn’t help feeling a bit sorry for him.

Mu Shaojie shakily stood up, ”I’m heading back, don’t see me off. Get some rest early.”

”How can that be? My Sixth Brother is so handsome, what if he runs into trouble on the way?” Xue Xiangtong smiled as she supported him outside, calling out to Guo Xiaorong: ”Mom, I’m taking Sixth Brother home!”

”Your Sixth Brother is drunk, let him rest at our place! I’ll go tidy up the guest room.” Guo Xiaorong came out.

”Yeah, Sixth Brother, do you want to sleep here?” Xue Xiangtong asked him.

Mu Shaojie shook his head, ”No, Auntie, I’ll head home. I’m particular about beds.”

Actually, he was worried he might throw up, and although the Xue Family wouldn’t mind, he had a particularly strong sense of dignity.

He didn’t want to trouble others.

Xue Xiangtong had also had a bit to drink, so she didn’t drive. She called a ride-hailing service, gave Mu Shaojie a black mask, and a baseball cap, covering him up tightly to avoid being seen by reporters and hence avoid any negative gossip.

She sent him back to his villa, and by then, Mu Shaojie was completely plastered.

Xue Xiangtong also felt the effects of the alcohol, ”Sixth Brother, I don’t think I can walk back...”

She ended up staying at his place.

Outside the window, the sound of firecrackers and fireworks continued all night.

Xue Xiangtong woke up quite early in the morning; her profession demanded a high level of self-discipline.

The moment she opened her eyes, she was greeted by an extraordinarily handsome and god-like face.

Delicate features, a full forehead, sharp eyebrows, and a high nose bridge, with distinct double eyelid contours, even in sleep, his thin lips curved with an arrogant arc.

Oh my god!

Xue Xiangtong couldn’t believe it; she had slept with Sixth Brother!
