Possessive & Addicted: The CEO Could Never Let Her Go

Chapter 710: Chapter 710: Be a Good Girl and Listen to Your Husband

When Gu Xiaozhan answered Mu Anhan’s call, he heard her sweet voice coming through the phone, ”Hubby, have you had lunch? Do you miss me? I miss you so much!”

This was her usual trick before asking for something—first sweet-talking him into submission.

Gu Xiaozhan remained calm, no longer falling for the Enchanting Soup trick, ”I’ll eat in a while.”

”What are you eating?” Mu Anhan got more enthusiastic.

”The Fiery Fire Association has it arranged.” Gu Xiaozhan wasn’t worried about this.

Mu Anhan: ”...Hubby, I want to eat meat.”

”Didn’t Housekeeper Zhu cook some meat for you at home?” Gu Xiaozhan immediately became serious.

Mu Anhan mumbled, ”Yes, there’s pig stomach soup and stir-fried shredded pork, but that’s not what I want.”

”What do you want to eat?” Gu Xiaozhan asked, both amused and exasperated.

Mu Anhan immediately said, ”Braised pork, roasted goose, king crab, lobster, abalone...”

She listed a long string, almost like she was reciting a food-porn skit.

Gu Xiaozhan patiently let her ramble on, without agreeing to let her eat those.

”In a month, we’ll see how your stomach recovers before deciding if you can eat those things.”

Mu Anhan almost jumped up, ”A month? Hubby, that’s too long...”

”Then two months.” He always meant what he said.

Mu Anhan was hopping mad, but she had no way to deal with him, ”One month is one month, thirty days in a month, three meals a day, that’s ninety meals, add a midnight snack, that’s over a hundred meals, I have over a hundred meals without any rich food, it’s so tragic...”

”Is it more tragic than getting IV drips in the hospital?” Gu Xiaozhan sternly reprimanded.

Mu Anhan: ”...Hubby, I know I was wrong.”

”If you’re wrong, then obediently accept the punishment. If I find out you’re eating recklessly again, I’ll take you to the little island and make you live there alone with nothing to eat.” Gu Xiaozhan’s tone was very cold.

Mu Anhan: ”...” He has done this in the past life too!

It’s better not to provoke him!

”I’ll be good and eat properly, bye hubby, I’m going to eat now.” She quickly hung up the phone.

She put down the phone, resting her chin on her hands.

She drank a bowl of pig stomach soup in front of her, although it was very plain, the taste was indeed not bad, then picked up a piece of pig stomach to eat, the longer it was simmered, the more bland the taste became.

”Housekeeper Zhu, another bowl.”

Zhu Chen stepped forward, ”Madam, Mr. Gu said you have to eat on time and in moderation, there’s only one bowl of soup.”

Mu Anhan was about to smash the bowl, this man is simply punishing her!

Zhu Chen quickly brought a bowl of fragrant white rice over, Mu Anhan tasted it, ”Why is it so soft? I like it grainy and firm.”

”Mr. Gu said your stomach is not in good shape, it’s suitable for eating soft rice.” Zhu Chen immediately explained.

Mu Anhan joked to herself, ”I even have a day where I eat soft rice!”

Zhu Chen comforted her, ”Madam, Mr. Gu is doing this for your sake, once your stomach recovers, you can have whatever you want. As long as your stomach is better, Mr. Gu won’t deny you gourmet food!”

At dinner time, Gu Xiaozhan specifically came home to accompany her.

”Hubby, feel my stomach, it’s flat now!” She grabbed his hand and placed it on her lower abdomen.

With the heater on at home in winter, she was wearing very little.

His warm hand gently rested on it through a thin layer of fabric.

She pressed his hand back hard, ”Can you feel it? I’ve lost weight!”
