Possessive & Addicted: The CEO Could Never Let Her Go

Chapter 658: Chapter 658: Be Good and Learn Along

”Splash...”

As the sound of water echoed, Zhang Shishi jumped into the water at once.

Little did she know she couldn’t swim; she thought the water wasn’t deep, but her feet were submerged while her head couldn’t break the surface.

She didn’t realize that Mu Shaochen had chosen a pool 1.8 meters deep; he could keep his head above water, but she couldn’t.

”Uh... help...”

Zhang Shishi gulped down a few mouthfuls of water before being pulled out by Mu Shaochen.

Frightened, she clung to his neck, ”You scared me to death! You didn’t tell me the water was this deep...”

Mu Shaochen chuckled, ”It’s okay, I’m here.”

”I reckon you did it on purpose!” Zhang Shishi accused him, ”I’m not swimming anymore, I’m leaving.”

Mu Shaochen wouldn’t let her escape, ”Alright, no need to be afraid. Think about it, if you have a water scene while filming, what will you do? Use a stand-in? Or tell the director you don’t want to do it, can it be canceled? What do you think the director would say?”

Zhang Shishi naturally didn’t dare say such things to the director; if she were a big star, maybe, but she’s just a barely noticeable newcomer!

”Will you really teach me?” Zhang Shishi was skeptical.

”Of course. I guarantee you’ll learn,” Mu Shaochen nodded.

Zhang Shishi bit her lip, ”Don’t have any other thoughts!”

”What thoughts could I have?” Mu Shaochen felt her hands getting tired, so he supported her by the waist.

Zhang Shishi, feeling the intimacy, wanted to put some distance between them, but her toes couldn’t reach the bottom, so she had to rely on him.

”Start teaching me then!”

Mu Shaochen, teasing her just enough, began teaching her seriously, explaining the basics of swimming, and having her practice the basic movements in the water.

”Shi Shi, be serious while learning, okay?”

”I will.”

”If you’re not serious, I’ll punish you.”

Zhang Shishi avoided his gaze, ”How will you punish me?”

”You’ll find out then.” Mu Shaochen acted as a strict teacher, letting her learn the movements herself.

He watched her movements closely, stepping in to correct her whenever she faltered.

Zhang Shishi gradually got the hang of it, feeling that Mu Shaochen was truly a good teacher in her life.

He taught her many things, being both a mentor and a friend to her.

Soon, she could swim short distances and excitedly paddled back and forth in the water.

Who knew she would soon shout, ”Mr. Mu... Mr. Mu...”

”What’s wrong?” Mu Shaochen swam to her side, observing her nervously stomping, ”Did you get a cramp? You must warm up before swimming next time.”

”No...” Zhang Shishi called him over, ”Quick, hold me...”

Mu Shaochen placed his large hand at her waist for support.

He looked down at her; she crossed her arms over her chest, ”What’s wrong?”

”My swimsuit is gone,” Zhang Shishi felt utterly insecure.

She didn’t know when it fell off or dared swim any longer.

Mu Shaochen’s hand touched her back, confirming the lack of even the tiniest bit of fabric.

”It’s all your fault! You’re so bad, giving me such a tiny swimsuit; see, with detachable straps, it fell off without me knowing...” Zhang Shishi blamed him, ”How do I get out now?”

”I’ll take you to the steps near the edge, and I’ll dive to find it for you,” Mu Shaochen said, guiding her toward the entrance.

Zhang Shishi sat on the steps in the water, letting the water cover her up to her neck...
