Possessive & Addicted: The CEO Could Never Let Her Go

Chapter 406: Chapter 406: Keeping Her in Check

Mu Anhan was stunned!

Why weren’t things going in the direction she had planned?

She knew that if she didn’t go to work at the company with him, he definitely wouldn’t be happy.

This was the most important thing to him, aside from her staying by his side.

So, she could take this opportunity to make demands; as for the kids’ grades and such, it wasn’t really her concern.

Who would’ve thought this man would use his autocratic mindset to completely overturn a preschool.

Honestly, if her incredibly brilliant husband wanted to overturn a preschool, she wouldn’t mind.

But, this preschool was where her kids were supposed to attend, so Mu Anhan had no choice but to stop him.

She went through so much trouble to finally get the kids into preschool, so they could enjoy pre-education before the nine years of compulsory education along with other kids.

Mu Anhan swiftly grabbed his large hand, ”Honey, don’t get mad! Do you even know the term ’sweeping monk’? They’re all hidden experts! I’m going to the kindergarten to supervise the kids’ studies and to make sure there’s no child abuse happening at the school.”

How could he not know? He wasn’t that uninformed!

”You’re a woman, can you be a monk?”

”Then I’ll be a sweeping nun, pretty much the same!” Mu Anhan toyed with his large hand.

This man’s hands are really something to look at!

The broad palms give a great sense of security; the long fingers have calluses on the pads, which feel very comfortable to touch.

”My preferences are quite normal!” Please don’t talk about monks and nuns with him!

Mu Anhan giggled, ”Forget about being a sweeping monk at the preschool. Someone like me, Mrs. Gu, should be a director instead.”

She had her own little plans—she needed a position at the school anyway!

She wasn’t fond of teaching.

Sweeping monk was vetoed by the man, so she might as well be a grandiose director.

”I’m okay with that.” Gu Xiaozhan agreed immediately.

Mu Anhan glared at him, listening as he continued, ”Anyway, I don’t lack money.”

Throwing money at the preschool, as long as it made her happy, was fine.

Suddenly, Mu Anhan felt that having a capable husband came with many benefits.

Even though he overshadowed her in every way, he was also exceptionally generous.

Gu Xiaozhan immediately called Zhu Chen, telling him to enroll the kids and handle the matters.

Mu Anhan originally thought that by going to work at the preschool, she could ignore this man, and he wouldn’t be able to stand it and would change his mind. Even if the kids didn’t study hard, he couldn’t punish her.

Her plan was clever, but things didn’t go as expected.

During the first week of school, Gu Yao and Gu Yu teamed up to scare a chubby classmate, known for bullying other kids, to tears. This chubby fellow was usually a sharp-tongued and a good fighter, scaring other kids off with words and fists.

But he met his match with the twins.

He didn’t dare to go to school or even use the restroom, and ended up wetting his pants, getting laughed at by the whole class.

The parents came to the school, insisting that Gu Yao and Gu Yu’s parents take responsibility.

”My husband is an executive at Feng Petroleum Company, managing thousands of people! Our Li family is not to be bullied!” Li Xiaopang’s mom dressed in a very luxurious manner, her tone and actions were a replica of Li Xiaopang’s.

She didn’t take the teacher or classmates seriously, carrying an air of authority.
