My Youth Began With Him

“Huh? What’s going on with Chu? Why isn’t he fighting back?” Gao Ran was very anxious as he stood off to the side, muttering to himself.

“Huo Mian, Huo Mian… tell us, what routine is your husband using?”

“Have you ever seen a cat catch a mouse and kill it right away? Most of the time, don’t they play with it for a while?” Huo Mian’s analogy was very pertinent.

“Haha, now I get it… he has nothing but the ‘worst’ intentions.” With this, Gao Ran suddenly understood.

These past few days, the issue with the twins had caused quite the commotion.

Gao Ran hadn’t had a good sleep in a while, and even though someone brought them food, he didn’t have much of an appetite.

Especially that brat of his, Gao Boyuan, had been putting on an expressionless face, bearing not even the slightest trace of a smile.

If the twins could come back, things would be great, and everything would get back to normal.

Seeing He Yongjun had used up most of his energy, Qin Chu began to switch from defensive to offensive.

Moreover, every strike was aimed to do damage. He Yongjun was able to dodge at the beginning. Later on, his footsteps grew weaker, and so did he.

“Big Brother Jun, be careful…” Shen Jiani still thought that He Yongjun could beat Qin Chu.

Because of Qin Chu’s status, he would do what he said he would, so she was hoping that she and He Yongjun could make their escape.

But, was anything in this world that easy?

After a while, He Yongjun could no longer hold himself up, and he fell down to one knee. Qin Chu had beaten him to a pulp.

“This guy is unbelievable…” The armed policeman that were standing by watching couldn’t help but gasp in surprise.

“Platoon Leader, can you tell what martial arts routine he’s using? Is it karate?” someone asked Platoon Leader Zhang Bin.

Zhang Bin shook his head. “It doesn’t look like it. It looks more like the kind of armed wrestling that American Navy Seal commandos use in training.”

“Wow… that’s pretty badass. It looks like there isn’t much suspense involved in this competition. Obviously, it’s clearly a matter of one guy one-sidely beating up one scumbag.”

Everyone couldn’t help but applaud Qin Chu’s skill. Qin Chu’s personality was very temperate and very calm.

There was rarely an opportunity to see him get worked up over something to the point of getting physical.

Even though he had been a friend of Gao Ran for so many years, he could count the number of times he saw Qin Chu like this on one hand.

Gao Ran vaguely remembered that when he was at school, Qin Chu had gotten in a fight over Huo Mian.

At that time, there were a few girls who were jealous, so they found some gangsters outside the school to rob Huo Mian and try to mess up her face.

Qin Chu happened to be passing by, so he physically stood up for Huo Mian.

Two people, one of them holding a table leg on one hand, against a group of seven or eight people.

In the end, the two of them were only a little hurt, while the rest of them were in very bad shape.

This incident was quite sensational at school…

Later, about four years ago, Qin Chu returned to China, and the family members of a pregnant woman wanted to blackmail Huo Mian, so they sent someone to the hospital to make trouble.

Qin Chu pulled off his tie, stormed directly into the detention room at the police station, and gave the unfortunate guy a fierce beating.

And this time, it was for his daughters’ sake that Qin Chu beat the crap out of this scumbag.

“Stop it, you bastard… let him go. Listen to me! Even if we are suspects, we have human rights. You can’t do this,” Shen Jiani was screaming so hard her throat became hoarse, but no one paid her any attention.

At the end of the fight, Qin Chu took a deep breath and got up, then took a dagger from his body and threw it next to He Yongjun’s hand.

“Come on, keep your promise.” Qin Chu’s voice was extremely calm.

“Big Brother Jun, don’t do it…” Shen Jiani hollered.

Huo Mian watched everything indifferently. She had absolutely no pity for this bastard who had kidnapped her children. She just wanted him to get what he deserved.

He Yongjun’s face was covered with blood. He crawled on the ground, gasping his last breaths. He propped himself up with great difficulty and slowly picked up the knife…
