Chapter 2542: The First War Ends

-----

Genesis was left speechless at what she saw and heard!

Not only Obhedhrur was aware of her existence, but he had even seen her and everything.

He even spoke to her directly!

But the most baffling thing wasnʼt any of that.

The most shocking thing was that the Fifth King of Chaos wasnʼt as hostile as she imagined?

”For now, I should return back home. With this power… I will challenge the fourth king. I am definitely stronger than him now. More authority means more power.”

These words he had spoken, it seemed he was completely uninterested in the world itself, its resources, or anything of the like.

Indeed, although the Miasmic Beasts from the Chaotic Plane devoured and expanded everywhere, he was very different than these mere creatures.

He had other, greater plans, such as overtaking a Fourth King of Chaos that was above his own position.

He believed he was strong enough, so he wanted to challenge him and win, to obtain his position and ”gain even more power”.

”And afterwards… I will think about what I can do. As long as you keep bringing me powerful foes that can test my wits. I will not harm your world.”

And these words only left her more surprised. It seemed that these ”Kings” were beings that desired to test their power, fight powerful foes, and grow stronger. y Virtual Library Empire

Without Genesis even saying a single word, he struck a deal with her.

To bring him even stronger foes through her machinations!

And as long as she pleases him with such foes, he will not harm the world.

”For now, this is a goodbye.”

FLUOSH!

And he disappeared into a flash of black plasma, his presence completely gone, and the battlefield within Skyfall remained in complete silence.

”HAH?!”

Genesis screamed furiously and incredulously; she simply couldnʼt believe the attitude of that bastard! She grew furious, to be treated like some sort of…

Some sort of…

”Heh…”

No, she smiled at the end.

”Fine! If he really wants to act that way, so be it! You want challenges? Iʼll bring you the worst we can find until you have your fill, bastard.”

She glared at Fate with a smile.

”Fate, it seems weʼve gained somewhat of an ally? Or perhaps just a tool?”

”A tool would be a good name, Genesis… He is no ally, but he desires battle. So letʼs bring him all the fights he wants.”

”Yes, yes… Letʼs do so, hahahaha!”

”Hahahahaha! We did it!”

Genesis and Fate laughed together, both had similar personalities sometimes, and got along surprisingly well despite everything.

Astra glanced at them with disbelief, it felt like she was looking at a pair of villainesses from the otherworldly novels she read sometimes.

”Theyʼre like two peas in a pod, huh?”

As this happened, several gods began appearing inside of the Divine Realm. Zagreus, Tsukuyomi, and then Amaterasuʼs teams emerged, with their respective losses.

”Youʼre finally back…” She said. ”Welcome! Despite the sacrifices, today was a great victory. We managed to make it, so they destroyed one another… Well, except for one guy but he escaped.”

”…”

Zagreusʼ eyes looked completely lost and lightless; he looked down at the floor without even looking at the Supreme Deities at all.

”Zagreus…”

The Supreme Goddess of Souls and Reincarnation sighed, looking at the young god with pity.

Although she didnʼt want to, in the end, she was convinced by her aunt.

”Zagreus, your fatherʼs sacrifice wonʼt be in vain, youʼve developed an incredible power. I will help you train it.”

”Eh?”

He glanced at the beautiful Supreme Goddess of Souls and Reincarnation, his eyebrows twitching in disbelief.

”Y-You…? A Supreme Deity will train me…?”

Astra smiled sweetly, nodding.

”Indeed, it has already been decided. Your power could be the key to our future victories. I must invest time and effort to make you stronger. Your power over souls will only be perfected if you train it with the instructions of some that has mastered the art, me.”

”A-Ah… I donʼt know what to say… It is an honor… My father… he wouldʼve been proud… I think.”

The young god was still struggling to say a word, but Astra nodded, his companions by his side looked all exhausted and a bit sad, someone aside from Hades had died, the twin sister of the Sun Monkey God Hanshuan, Henshian.

”Lady Genesis, weʼve done as you said and it seems weʼve secured victory, aside from our losses,” Tsukuyomi vowed before Genesisʼ presence.

”I hope you can also keep your end of the deal,” Amaterasu said as well, vowing to her. ”After all, we didnʼt do this for free.”

”I know,” Genesis nodded. ”And well done. your efforts will be rewarded. Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, both of you are now crowned new Supreme Gods of Genesis and will have the authority to rule a part of our world at my side. By my seat.”

”T-Thank you!”

”It is an honor, Lady Genesis!”

Tsukuyomi, the Ruler of the Moon.

Amaterasu, the Ruler of the Sun.

Both of these Gods, who had already reached a level of power near Supreme Gods, were now fully crowned!

Genesis manipulated space and time, infusing great power into them and letting them awaken their fullest potential.

FLAAAASH!

Their Auras exuded with tremendous power; their Elemental Particles multiplied several thousands of times over.

And they were also ”crowned” as crowns made out of crystalized divine power appeared above their heads, signaling their ascension.

”Incredible!”

”Amazing!”

”We are so happy for you!”

”So this is the birth of two new Supreme Gods?!”

The many other Gods that accompanied them were incredibly happy and amazed… But not Zagreus.

”Would my father have received a similar reward if he was alive?” He asked, suddenly making Genesis glance at him.

”…Perhaps,” Genesis said. ”However, I moved that reward towards you, Zagreus. Astra will teach you well, so please, you must train hard.”

”Yes…” Zagreus nodded, looking exhausted. ”And about father, I…”

”You donʼt have to worry anymore, son.”

”Huh?”

Zagreus glanced towards his left, noticing the mysterious and silent entity known as the Supreme God of Time.

”The clock of time is tickling. Timelines converge. Choices that were not made, were now made. Go back to Tartarus and see for yourself what awaits you within its dark depths.”
