Online Game: My Health Point Has No Limits

Half an hour later, Li Yi had arrived at the location given by Sun Conqueror. On his way here, there were many trees that grew sporadically everywhere. However, the further he walked, the further he saw that this place was filled with dead trees and dilapidated plants. This scene was extremely strange.

The whistling sound of the breeze could be heard in his surroundings. One could faintly hear the shrill screams from within if they concentrated hard enough. The shrills were just like the howls of ghosts.

At this moment, there were over a hundred players that stood in the distance. Each of them was level 5 and above, and they had pieces of equipment that were relatively complete to their sets. It seemed that they were all the elites and core members of the Scorching Sun Guild.

From afar, he could tell that the group of elite players looked somewhat dejected. They had probably tried many times, but they still could not defeat the monsters inside. However, this was very normal.

After a while, Sun Conqueror saw someone coming from afar and immediately shouted.

“Carefree Dream, over here!”

Li Yi directly asked, “Hey! When you first came here, nothing strange happened, right?”

A guild member immediately replied to him. “I was the first to discover this place. When I came here, it was extremely gloomy and terrifying as if a demon was about to come into play. The ground shook, and I thought that there was going to be a boss appearing. After searching around, we found this cave. However, none of our members were able to withstand the monsters inside, so the guild leader had no choice but to come seek for your help!”

Sun Conqueror also continued, “Yes, that’s about it. When I came here, I was equally as shocked. I didn’t think that there would be such a strange place in this game world!”

Li Yi nodded and said directly, “Alright! It’s still within the controllable range. Let’s go in and take a look!”

“Alright! Everyone, set off. Don’t fall behind. Follow closely!”

…

The group walked straight ahead and soon arrived at the location of the cave. Gusts of chilly wind blew out from within. This caused many members to feel a little creeped out by the surroundings.

Li Yi did not pay too much attention to it. He had experienced these feelings one too many times in the past and felt that it should not matter now.

As they continued to walk forward, the breeze became stronger and stronger. It even carried traces of a black aura. However, everyone else had never seen such a thing like this before, so it was very difficult to detect the faint black aura around them.

Even if Li Yi could see traces of it, he was still a little relieved. It seemed that not much had been leaked yet, and it was still within the controllable range.

…

As everyone went deeper into the cave, the temperature had slowly plummeted. They felt that they had already reached the freezing point. At this moment, many people could not help but shiver.

“Roar!!”

A deep roar was heard from the cave. The ground in front of them suddenly rumbled and exploded. A pitch-black arm bone broke out of the ground. Then, skeleton soldiers that were covered in tattered clothes jumped out from the ground, dropping debris of rock as it tried to get out.

Each of them held a rusty iron sword in its hand, there was a wisp of gloomy black flames in their empty eye sockets, and these beings stared fiercely at the group of players who had just barged in.

Li Yi quickly checked their attributes.

[Level 7 Skeletal Soldier (demonized creature)]

[HP: 5,000]

[Physical Attack: 400]

[Physical Defense: 50]

[Skills: Heavy Strike, Horizontal Sweep]

The attributes of these monsters were indeed strong. Although their defense was relatively low, their attack power was as high as 400. Moreover, they also had skills that could be used in battle, just like Li Yi. It was no wonder that their main tanks could not withstand it.

Li Yi took the lead and charged forward. The Skeletal Soldier’s actions were also very fast. The rusty iron sword in their hand slashed forward fiercely. The first strike was a skill — Heavy Strike.

It was a battle between the strong. Li Yi did not back down and took the heavy blow head-on!

“Peng!”

When the double-edged steel sword collided with the rusty iron sword, the Skeletal Soldier got chopped into pieces by Li Yi’s better sword. It turned into pieces and fell to the ground. The Skeletal Soldier’s attack power decreased by 150!

Li Yi’s attack also landed on the Skeletal Soldier’s body.

“-502! Critical Hit!”

Li Yi’s attack shattered the Skeletal Soldier’s rusty iron sword. It also took away one-tenth of the enemy’s HP. The damage was extremely high. The members of Scorching Sun were also dumbfounded.

“This… This greatsword should be of a flawless grade, isn’t it? Otherwise, it wouldn’t be able to shatter the enemy’s rusty iron sword that easily, right?”

“There’s even a way to shatter the enemy’s weapon?”

At this moment, Sun Conqueror regained his senses and immediately shouted, “What are you waiting for? Magic Apprentice group number 2, quickly attack from behind. Main Tanker group number 1, guard the surroundings. High-attack Warrior Apprentices group number 3, assist in the attack.”

Fortunately, Sun Conqueror had brought three groups of people with him. One group of Main Tankers, one group of high-attack Warrior Apprentices, and one group of Magic Apprentices.

Among them, they had the highest number of Magic Apprentices. These people accounted for at least half of the group, while the number of high-attack Warrior Apprentices were much lesser. There were only three elites among the elites, and all of them were wearing one or two pieces of excellent equipment!

After all, if high-attack Warrior Apprentices did not have good equipment, they would not be able to withstand the monsters’ attacks at all. They would be on the brink of death if they were to be attacked with a skill. The only way these players could survive was if they relied on the Main Tankers to tank the damage from the monsters.

After hearing the guild leader’s command, everyone carried out their attack. The Magic Apprentices threw Fireballs at them one after another and supported their members.

“-70! Critical Hit!”

“-29.”

“-33.”

…

This kind of undead monster was more afraid of magic. Having so many Magic Apprentices focusing their fire on them, they immediately lost over 1,700 HP. The sea of people tactic was pretty good.

Without any weapons, the skeleton soldier was ready to fight with its claws. However, its attacks were not enough, and they only lost a small amount of HP.

“-180.”

The Skeletal Soldier was like a tiger without teeth and claws. It had lost its wild nature. To Li Yi, it was of no threat at all.

After a few rounds of Fireball attacks from the Magic Apprentices, the Skeletal Soldiers were immediately broken into pieces and fell to the ground.

[Talent Trigger: Obtained 50 HP, 0.5 HP Recovery/second]

At this moment, the members of the guild were extremely content with this attack. They were not worried at all.

“This is awesome!! There are no worries at all. I think that Carefree Dream’s HP is still in full health. He is simply too strong.”

“That’s right! I don’t even need to heal myself. I just need to wait for the skill’s cooldown to be over. I can just attack directly!”

…

The rest of the matter was much easier to handle. Li Yi cleared the way ahead. The Skeletal Soldiers they encountered along the way could not hold on for long before they died under the siege of the player’s attacks.

The experience points gained here were also extremely high. Most of the guild members had already leveled up to level 6. At this moment, Li Yi was also about to reach level 8.

As everyone continued to advance forward, Li Yi suddenly saw a shimmering item in the distance. He immediately picked it up and took a look.

[Item: Broken Equipment]

[Effect: It has lost the power it should have. It has no use at all. It could be seen as a souvenir!]

However, Li Yi recognized this item at first glance. It was a piece of warrior-level equipment. It was a piece of equipment that had been shattered by a powerful force after fighting a certain creature.

Warrior-level equipment was extremely rare and difficult to obtain. However, as long as one obtained it, they would receive a warrior-level buff. This increase in strength was not the same as the increase in the stats on the interface as compared to other weapons.

Having warrior-level equipment could allow one’s chosen class stats to increase, or even be doubled. It could be said that when a player’s weapon reaches a warrior-level, its stats would also increase greatly.

There was no comparison between Heaven and Earth. As long as one obtained a warrior’s equipment or above, the increase in one’s strength would be unprecedented.

Even among the massive number of players in the past life, very few people could obtain a warrior’s equipment. Even so, every single person who had the warrior-level equipment were all famous players in the game.

“Carefree Dream, do you know what this is?”

Sun Conqueror pointed at the shard and asked. At this moment, Sun Conqueror had also found a shard of equipment that was shimmering.

“I’m not sure, but if this item is useless, then just throw it away!”

As soon as Li Yi finished speaking, the surrounding ground trembled again. The players that stood far away from the walls could not even stand properly. A large amount of rubble also fell from above the cave, indicating that the cave was about to collapse.

Sun Conqueror frowned. They were already deep into the cave. Were the cave to collapse, they definitely would not be able to escape. Losing levels were a small matter, but losing equipment could not be seen as such.

These pieces of equipment were the majority of their guild’s assets! They could not die here and lose these valuable items!
