Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1540: Little Sisters, Big Hugs, and One Grumpy Pekko ( 1540 )

Javier sat up slowly, and Felicia pulled her head back from his chest, her hands still resting lightly on his shoulders. Javier narrowed his eyes at her, his voice carrying a hint of disbelief.

”Really? Liana said that?”

Felicia shifted onto her knees and wrapped her arms around him, pulling herself close. She rested her chin on his shoulder and mumbled softly against his ear.

”Yes. If anyone does that, she will kick us out of the harem. And she said...” She paused, her cheeks flushing faintly as she lowered her voice to a whisper. ”...that those jewels are meant to give each of us an heir. The future of the Armand family. So we must protect them with our lives.”

Javier’s lips curled into a slow, sly grin. He leaned in, nuzzling against Felicia’s neck and inhaling deeply, savoring her scent. His breath was warm against her skin as one hand drifted up to cup her breast, fondling it gently through her bikini top, while his other hand settled on her waist, pulling her closer.

”Then, how about we have sex?”

Felicia pulled back immediately, her eyes widening as she glanced at him in disbelief. Her cheeks burned bright red as she stammered.

”H... here?”

Javier narrowed his eyes, a cheeky smirk spreading across his face. He wiggled his eyebrows, his hand drifting down to rub his crotch with deliberate slowness.

”Yes~ The snake is looking for its nest~”

Just as Felicia was about to respond, a loud, cheerful voice rang out from the distance.

”Oniii chaannn!!”

Before Javier could turn his head, a small body launched into him, wrapping tiny arms around his neck and hugging him tightly. Macia buried her face against his chest, her small body trembling with excitement.

Vivica arrived a moment later, tilting her head with a soft, warm smile.

”Onii tan~”

She walked around to his back and hugged him from behind, her small arms wrapping around his waist.

Javier’s face broke into a wide, happy grin. He reached up and patted both of their heads gently, his voice warm and playful.

”What are you two doing here? Did you come all this way by yourselves? Where are your escorts?”

Macia pulled back, her grin widening as she pointed toward the path in the distance.

”Athine nee-san is with us! Ehehehe~”

Athine arrived, walking gracefully toward them across the sand. She wore a beautiful silver bikini, the fabric shimmering under the sunlight. The top was tied delicately at the back of her neck, and the bottom was high-waisted with a delicate side tie.

Her figure was stunning, her medium-sized breasts perfectly shaped, and her movements carried the poise of a noble princess. Her pale purple eyes held a gentle warmth, and her long, straight silver hair flowed behind her like a silken veil.

Javier glanced at her, then narrowed his eyes. Athine stopped a few steps away, her smile soft and graceful.

”Ah~ What a wonderful day for a vacation. To think the entire family would gather in such a beautiful place. It warms my heart to see everyone together like this, is it not, dear brother?”

Felicia smiled, rising gracefully and giving a polite, noble curtsey, her voice matching Athine’s refined tone.

”Indeed, Lady Athine. The day is truly magnificent. A rare and precious moment for all of us to share. I am delighted to see you here as well.”

Javier slowly stood, lifting Macia onto his left hip and Vivica onto his right, his arms wrapped securely around them. He narrowed his eyes, his gaze dropping slowly from Athine’s face to her belly. He studied it for a long moment before he let out a low, grumbling mumble.

”You’re already pregnant... You should cover it properly. Walking around like that... someone might get the wrong idea.”

Athine chuckled softly, tilting her head with a teasing glint in her eyes.

”Don’t stare too much at your own sister, little brother~ Someone might get jealous~”

Javier let out a short laugh, his grin turning cheeky.

”Heh~ Like I said before, you may be the most beautiful girl in Armand... no, even in the whole Human Nation. But don’t worry. I don’t look at my own sister like that.”

He quickly pressed a kiss to each of Macia’s and Vivica’s cheeks, making both little girls giggle and squirm in his arms. He pulled back with a warm, playful smile.

”Right, my cute little sisters~?”

Athine raised her back hand gracefully, sweeping her long silver hair over her shoulder in a slow, elegant motion. The strands caught the sunlight like spun silk, cascading down her back as she smiled at Javier.

”Oh, don’t be so stiff, little brother. We’re on our family’s private island. No one here is a stranger, and there’s nothing to be formal about.” She tilted her head, her pale purple eyes glinting with amusement. ”Besides, I’m wearing this because a certain someone loves to see me in it~”

”Yeah, right.” Javier snorted, glancing around the beach. ”Where’s Aelius?”

Athine’s gaze drifted toward the sea, her expression softening as she watched the waves roll gently onto the shore. She let out a soft, fond exhale before speaking.

”He’s with Marcellus and Cedric. The three of them are in one of the villas, going over the upcoming plans with the Armand officers and staff. They’ve been at it since this morning.”

Javier narrowed his eyes, his voice carrying a mix of suspicion and disbelief. ”During vacation? I thought they hated paperwork.”

Athine let out a soft laugh, raising her palm to cover her lips before giving him a playful side glance. ”Only Marcellus and Cedric hate paperwork. Along with a certain someone. But not Aelius~”

Javier smirked, tilting his head down slightly. He gave her a playful, narrow-eyed look, his lips curling into a weird smirk as he wiggled his eyebrows.

”I do hate paperwork. But work is work, vacation is vacation. I didn’t go ask Father for permission to take a break just to end up buried in documents. If I wanted that, I would have stayed at the estate.”

Athine smiled warmly, her eyes softening with affection as she watched Javier rub his chin against Macia’s and Vivica’s necks, making both little girls burst into another round of giggles. She let out a soft laugh of her own before glancing around the beach.

”Where’s Liana?”

Javier pursed his lips and tilted his head, pointing toward the spot where Liana and Gloria were gathered near Buddy.

”Over there. Playing with Buddy.”

Athine followed his gaze. Across the sand, Liana and Gloria stood on either side of Buddy, their hands gripping his tail feathers. Another bright orange feather drifted to the sand, followed by another, as Buddy squawked in frantic protest.

”Cuquawked!!” (This isn’t playing!! They’re plucking my tail!!!)
