The Versatile Master Artist

Can’t blame anyone else, only blame myself for being blind, unwilling to believe in this boy from the depths of my heart.

But what’s the point now, since things have already happened?

Just said such heartless words, repeatedly using the whip to shoo away the little donkey that came close.

Now that he finally doesn’t bother me, obediently leaving just as I wanted.

As a result, Mona realized this little donkey could actually run fast, and so she hurriedly turned back, pretending as if nothing had happened.

”Let’s just go back to how we were before.”

Forget about it.

This is way too mercenary, way too disgusting!

Mona just casually recalled that scene in her mind, and felt a wave of nausea and the urge to vomit at her own behavior.

She felt she had never been so ”ugly.”

Miss Sande Nu was willing to endure Mrs. Cruz’s disdain and coldness with a forced smile for the sake of a spot in an advanced class.

But she would never do that in front of Gu Weijing.

”Will he come to find me again?”

Mona’s heart was in turmoil, hoping for another chance.

As long as Gu Weijing was willing to come to her again, even just sending a text, she would be ready to apologize sincerely.

”There’s nothing to regret, even if it’s a second choice, I would still do the same.”

”Being strong myself is what really matters, he can paint with Mr. Cao Xuan, but I also got into Professor Cruz’s advanced class through my own efforts.”

Mona kept comforting herself in her heart.

Miss Sande Nu forced herself to maintain that generous and graceful smile as the student council president always had.

She wanted to show that Gu Weijing’s matter hadn’t affected her at all.

However, Mona was still clutching the thick English book, hiding her face.

She didn’t want anyone to see her like this at the moment!

No need to think, Mona knew that in school, among the gossip growing faster than roadside weeds, those girls who loved sarcasm would speak of her, the female president, in the most unpleasant tones.

Gu Weijing is now so illustrious.

Which just makes Mona all the more embarrassed.

Today was definitely not Miss Sande Nu’s lucky day.

She didn’t want to see anyone, yet she heard someone calling her name.

Mona’s shoulder twitched slightly, she turned her head just to see Koukou standing beside her.

If there was a list, which could list out those classmates Miss Sande Nu least wanted to meet at the moment.

Then Koukou’s name would definitely be at the top of the list.

Mona and Koukou were like two repelling magnets, ever since Koukou transferred to this school, they just didn’t get along.

To be exact.

Koukou and Mona didn’t get along.

This girl could get along well with everyone else in school, yet she seemed to specifically target Mona.

She assigned Mona to the far corner in the group dance for girls. When holding a birthday party, she sent invitations to everyone in the class except ”forgetting” Mona, then faked an apology, and after that sent photos to Mona boasting: ”If only you were there.”

Not to mention, right after a crack appeared between Mona and Gu Weijing, she started getting cozy with Mona’s little boyfriend.

If this kind of person isn’t a bitch, who is?

”Annoying” is already a mild term in Mona’s opinion.

”Hello, Koukou.”

Mona nodded towards Koukou with a straight face, and her gaze swept over the ”flirty” rip in Koukou’s pants.

She was in a very bad mood.

Mona made up her mind, if Koukou teased her about Gu Weijing, she would retaliate by mocking Koukou for not adhering to the school dress code and report her to the disciplinary teacher.

Forget it, that would just make it seem like she was trying to cover up her embarrassment and insecurity.

How about saying ”I’m happy for Gu Weijing. Hope you have fun, and please treat him well.”

Damn, what a pathetic loser statement that is.

Mona pondered repeatedly and simply decided to stand up and walk away.

”Wait, did you know I’ve seen you before, Mona?”

Koukou raised her hand to stop her.

Her face didn’t show the arrogance of a victor, and Mona surprisingly heard a bit of desolation in her tone.

Seen me before?

Mona paused for a moment, this left her bewildered, and she asked with puzzlement.

”I’m not talking about Fitz. There’s a place called Peaceful Valley near Diplomat Avenue in Queen’s District of Yangon, it’s a hotel with a children’s pottery studio on the first floor. It was probably during the summer vacation of third or fourth grade, we both attended pottery classes there. At that time, I was very withdrawn and no one wanted to partner with me...” Koukou said softly.

”Oh, you’re the... glasses-and-braces girl!”

Even though Koukou’s details were clear enough, Mona looked back and was suddenly stunned after a long while.

Yangon is Myanmar’s economic center.

Even though Myanmar is quite chaotic, with some places living conditions similar to a living hell stuck in pre-colonial era. The downtown wealthy class in Yangon, lifestyles are still quite modern.

This place has heavenly venues like West River Clubhouse, five-star luxury hotels, private elite schools, and pottery studios for little kids to cultivate hobbies during holidays.

There was a young detective just recently widowed.

He was just assigned an important position with no time to handle family matters, thus signed his introverted daughter up for a summer class in pottery hoping it would change her mood.
