You call this a projection?

Once selected by the Holy Grail War as a Master, one is granted an ability exclusive to Masters: the power to see through the base six-dimensional statistics of other Servants.

However, this ability only reveals the basic stats, provided they aren’t obscured by special Noble Phantasms or skills.

As for more critical information—whether it be a Servant’s skills, Noble Phantasms, or even their Class—it cannot be easily discerned. They must identify these things through tactical analysis during combat.

Therefore, when the data on Mordred—who had B-rank or higher stats across the board, with the exception of Luck at D—appeared before Darnic and the others, and they saw the sword-type Noble Phantasm in her hand, they naturally assumed Mordred was the Red Saber.

But now, King Arthur had appeared.

Given King Arthur’s fame—even though Mordred is also a renowned Knight of the Round Table known for her sword in the legends—compared to the terrifying influence of the term ”Holy Sword” (Excalibur), which has proliferated through countless games, novels, films, and animations, defining the ultimate weapon of their protagonists—how could Mordred, a Knight of the Round Table who closed the curtain on the legends as a villain, compete for the Saber Class against King Arthur, the one who commanded the Round Table?

She doesn’t have that capability, do you understand?

But if Mordred is not the Saber, and King Arthur is the Saber, then what Class is Mordred?

Lancer or Archer, the other two of the three knight classes alongside Saber?

Impossible. The weapon Mordred holds automatically excludes her from being either of those two classes.

Similarly, the Caster Class, which specializes in magecraft, and the Assassin Class, are even less related to Mordred herself.

Even the Berserker Class, which seems to fit Mordred’s demeanor best, was excluded because Mordred has not lost her sanity due to [Mad Enhancement].

As for the final option, Rider...

Where is Mordred’s mount?

Or rather, in the ”Legend of King Arthur,” does Mordred have any famous mount?

None!

Darnic and his group, who haven’t played ”FGO,” could never imagine that as long as Mordred puts on a swimsuit, the surfboard she uses to surf could also be considered a ”mount.”

So, after excluding all options, Mordred’s Class returned to Saber.

”Two... no, the third Saber!?”

Gordes, who was certain that the Black Saber he summoned was indeed a Saber, and not the perpetually missing Black Assassin, realized something. He widened his eyes and said: ”Beyond us and the Mage’s Association, there is a third group of Master and Servant factions? How is this possible!?”

Never mind Gordes; the other Masters of the Yggdmillennia clan also began to discuss this in a flurry of voices.

After all, this third-party intruder could not possibly belong to their faction.

One could even say that unless this third-party faction had also publicly withdrawn from the Mage’s Association like they had, it was highly probable that the third party would stand on the side of the Mage’s Association.

If the Masters of the Mage’s Association merely extended an olive branch for a temporary alliance, the other party would likely join them immediately to wipe out the Yggdmillennia Masters first.

After that, the survivors would then decide among themselves who the Holy Grail belongs to.

...Such a scenario was entirely possible!

Even if the Yggdmillennia clan had prepared for this Holy Grail War for a long time, they could never handle a siege by fourteen Servants simultaneously!

”Calm down! I said calm down!”

Seeing that he couldn’t suppress the commotion, or rather, knowing that from the moment they decided to withdraw from the Mage’s Association, the Yggdmillennia magi had no path of retreat, they simply couldn’t remain calm once they realized this consequence. Darnic had to shout loudly to drown out the noise: ”Things haven’t become that dire yet.

I know the thing everyone fears most is that after this third-party force joins up with the Masters sent by the Mage’s Association, Yggdmillennia will likely become the first faction to be eliminated.

But everyone, think about it: if this is something anyone can imagine, can’t that third-party force imagine it too?

To be precise, if that third Saber who appeared so suddenly is truly the legendary King of Knights, would she not recognize Mordred?

Given the fame of the ’Legend of King Arthur,’ would the magi of this third-party force not know the relationship between the King of Knights and Mordred?

Yet, knowing all of this, they still dispatched the King of Knights to contact Mordred...”

At this point, Darnic bowed respectfully, as a subject to a king, to the somewhat gloomy-looking Lancer sitting in the main seat beside him: ”King, you who once ruled Romania.

When you wish to form an alliance with someone, would you send an emissary who has a grudge against that person to act as your representative?”

”No. In fact, that would be the most foolish choice,” the Lancer said calmly.

”Unless the act is intended specifically to enrage the enemy, no king with normal intelligence would dispatch an emissary who holds a grievance against the other party when trying to form an alliance.”

However, with the reassurance provided by the prepared Lancer and Darnic, Gordes and the others, who had been in a state of chaos, were able to settle down.

They listened as Darnic continued: ”Since we exclude the possibility of this being a calculated alliance by the third-party force, then what, after all, is their purpose in doing this?”

”Or could it be that this isn’t a third-party force at all, but the Red faction’s Servant putting on a self-directed performance?”

”You must realize, whether it was the King of Knights or Mordred, the true names of these two Servants were both spoken by themselves.”
