Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

In the end, the two of them chose to accept the Democratic Union as a vassal under our Kite Kingdom.

Though I really wasn’t surprised by this decision from them.

The fact that they brought this proposal to me already meant that they were planning on accepting it. The only reason that they hadn’t done so was because they wanted to show it to me first.

Even if I had rejected it, they would have thought of a way to make me accept.

After all, if the prime minister and the chancellor worked together...they could think of many different ways to make me do what they wanted me to do.

Still, they didn’t do that since they respected me.

However, it was clear who had the real power in the Kite Kingdom when it came to administration.

Even if they didn’t do it, I could guess that Rose or the others would have done something.

So in the end, we accepted the Democratic Union’s proposal to become a vassal under us.

In less than two days, there was this elaborate ceremony that was planned to announce this matter. In fact, it was too elaborate to have been done on the spot, so it was clearly something that had been prepared ahead of time.

It wasn’t just the Democratic Union alone that did this, it was also the prime minister and the chancellor that had been involved in the planning.

”So it really didn’t matter if I said yes or no, they would have made it happen anyway.” That was all I could say with a bitter smile on my face when I found this out, but it was already too late to change anything.

This was a ceremony that quickly picked up traction as representatives from the different countries of the racial alliance soon stated that they would attend.

It wasn’t just any normal representative that was attending, they were all leaders in their countries.

The popes, the sages, the Tide Emperor from the human race, as well as the Elven Queen, the Merman King, the Dwarven King, and the others from the other races.

It was clear just what kind of importance they were putting on this ceremony.

When the day of the ceremony came, everyone seemed very tense about what was about to happen even though we had already expected something like this.

It seemed that they were all waiting for a certain something.

Since this was the Democratic Union becoming a vassal of the Kite Kingdom, it meant that I had to take my place on the stage. Though in reality, I didn’t actually write a speech or anything since I had no idea what I would even say.

In the end, I took the speech that the prime minister prepared for me.

”I’m happy to announce the formation of a new empire for the human race...” My voice couldn’t help trailing off after I said this.

Even though this was something that everyone had thought secretly, no one had said this out loud. After all, it wasn’t that easy to become one of the empires of the human race and rashly declaring something like this could ruffle feathers.

So I waited to see what kind of reaction everyone had to me declaring this.

But in the end, there was no one that disagreed with me when I said this.

In fact, they broke out in cheers after I made this declaration.

In the end, it seemed like there wasn’t a problem in declaring the Kite Kingdom the new empire of the human race.

To begin with, we were already close to becoming an empire, it was just that we lacked the foundation for it. But with the foundation that the Democratic Union brought, it was more than enough for us to declare ourselves an empire.

But it wasn’t just the Democratic Union in the end.

I was surprised to find that there were other countries that had also become vassals of the Kite Kingdom.

When I saw the list, I found that it was most of the kingdoms that had been vassals under the Democratic Union that were now coming to our side. The ones that didn’t were those that already had a grudge with our Kite Kingdom, so it would be hard for them to fall under us.

As for the rest, they all chose to follow us without any hesitation.

It seemed that the prime minister and the chancellor had been hard at work behind the scenes during this time and had convinced most of them to fall under us.

With this, it really seemed like we were qualified to call ourselves one of the empires of the human race...

Still, that wasn’t what mattered right now.

The most important thing was naturally stabilizing the human race after the betrayal of the leaders of the Democratic Union. It wasn’t the entire Democratic Union that had betrayed the racial alliance which was a good thing.

If it was the entire Democratic Union, then it would have been a disaster for the racial alliance.

With this, we were able to preserve most of our power for the fight against the forces of Destruction.

But for me, this was more of a personal thing since I had promised someone that I would do something about this.

”While it’s not perfect, I did at least fulfill my promise.” I said as I raised my hand to look at where the Mark of God would be.

As if it was responding to me, the Mark of God suddenly lit up.

But the light quickly faded from it and it returned to normal.

Still, I’d like to believe that this was Solista’s response.

Though if I really wanted to find out, it would have been easy for me to meet her.

But right now, there was something that was more important to do.

With all of the leaders of the racial alliance gathered, we had to give a demonstration that the racial alliance was still as strong as ever.

Which meant that we had to hold a banquet for this occasion.
