Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Since we had the wyverns, it didn’t take us long to arrive at the border of the Sorcery Empire.

Naturally, we didn’t fly right into the Sorcery Empire and landed at the border for a check.

But it was surprising to find that there was someone waiting there for us.

It wasn’t just anyone normal, it was actually one of the sages of the Sorcery Empire that had come out to greet us.

This was a woman sage who was completely dressed in green.

The moment that they saw our group, her eyes immediately lit up.

Only it seemed like she was looking for something, or rather someone in specific. It didn’t seem like she was interested in any of us with how she looked right past us, even I couldn’t catch her attention as she was focused on something completely different.

It took a while, but she finally found the thing, or rather the person that she was looking for.

Though it wasn’t a person that she was looking for, it was an elf.

It was the Elven Queen Aisha to be specific.

Even though this was an exchange between the sea witches and the Sorcery Empire, the Elven Queen Aisha had somehow managed to tag along.

Even though the elder had come with her to the Kite Kingdom, she actually allowed the Elven Queen Aisha to come to the Sorcery Empire.

In a way, I could tell that she treated Aisha the same way as me.

Though when it came to the reason why Aisha was being sent off, it was different.

Aisha was happy to go since it meant that she would have the opportunity to explore a new place. Not to mention that this new place was one of the four human empires, so there was no doubt that there would be interesting things in this place.

As for why the elder allowed Aisha to go…

It was simply because she was the representative of the Elven Kingdom and this would be considered a diplomatic mission.

Only it didn’t seem like the sage from the Sorcery Empire was just treating this as a diplomatic mission.

It seemed like the sage was very excited to meet Aisha.

The moment that her eyes landed on Aisha, the sage in green immediately went over and started talking to her.

”You must be the one that’s here for the magic exchange. I’ve long heard about the magic that the elves possessed, but I’ve never had the chance to see it in person before. I’m hoping that we’ll be able to learn quite a bit from each other.”

Aisha couldn’t help taking a step back when she saw how the sage in green was acting.

Especially since she could see the way that the hands of the sage in green were moving.

While it didn’t seem like there was anything wrong with it, she just didn’t like the way that her fingers were moving.

”Alright, enough of that Verdant Sage.”

The moment that this voice rang out, there was an annoyed look that appeared on the face of the sage in green. She turned around to look at the person that said this before saying, ”I thought that I was the one that was in charge of welcoming them. What are you doing here, Azure Sage?”

This was another sage that was wearing a blue magic robe.

He didn’t care that the Verdant Sage was questioning him like this. All he did was say with a smile, ”Decided? Who decided? You were just the one that came here before anyone could actually say anything? The one that was chosen to welcome them was me.”

”You? You’re worse than me.” The Verdant Sage said with a snort.

The Azure Sage ignored this as he turned to look at me before saying with a smile, ”Dear guest, I hope that you will not mind my fellow sage’s actions.”

When he was addressing me directly like this, it was only natural that I wouldn’t be able to say anything that I was really thinking.

So with a shake of my head and a smile, I said, ”Of course not. It’s an honour that two of the sages of the Sorcery Empire are here to welcome us.” After a pause, I added, ”I wonder if there’s any special reason for this.”

The Azure Sage said with the same smile, ”It’s natural because of how important this matter is. This is the first time that we will be hosting an exchange with the other races and sharing our magic knowledge. This is something that we would naturally take seriously as the Sorcery Empire. It would be considered a disgrace if anything were to go wrong.”

I was surprised by how serious he was taking this, but there was a part of me that found what the Azure Sage was doing a bit strange.

After all, from time to time, it really seemed like he was looking somewhere else.

It was as if there was something else that had his attention.

When I followed his gaze, I found that he was looking at the sea witches that were still watching from the side.

The moment that the sages appeared, the sea witches had been acting with caution since they saw the way that the Verdant Sage had approached Aisha.

They didn’t know if there was anyone that would act the same way around them, so they had kept their guards up.

It was a good thing too since the Azure Sage really seemed like he wanted something from them like the Verdant Sage wanted something from Aisha.

Seeing that he had been caught, the Azure Sage said with the same smile, ”It’s just that I’m a bit interested in the magic of the merpeople since my own magic is related to that. But don’t worry, I won’t act as crude as my fellow sage.”

I raised a brow after hearing this, but I didn’t say anything in response.

In the end, all I could think was…

”It seems that they are quite passionate about magic.”
