Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

The story that she told me really was hard to believe, but at the same time…

”Should I really be learning this…?” I couldn’t help asking myself.

”You’re the one that wanted to know the full story and now I’ve told you the full story. You have to take responsibility after hearing this.” Vivrum suddenly said after I had this thought to myself.

A bitter smile appeared on my face when I heard this as I complained about the god’s ability to read minds.

But this time, she didn’t say anything in response.

”How?” That was the only thing that I could ask in the end.

With a sigh, Vivrum said, ”How can people possibly predict love? Just like how you’ve taken an elf as your wife, the previous Elven King was similar in taking a human as his wife. Though it certainly wasn’t as accepted back then because he was a high elf and the Elven King.”

With another sigh, Vivrum told the full story.

At this point, there was no reason for her to hide it anymore.

The story behind the current Elven King was that he was the child that was made when the Elven King ran away with a human woman.

But the problem was that there was a difference in lifespan between humans and high elves. Even if the Elven King wanted to stay with her forever, it wasn’t as if nature would allow it.

So eventually the human woman died and the Elven King came back with the current Elven King.

However, it wasn’t easy for the current Elven King to be accepted.

In the end, the human wife of the former Elven King was completely hidden and there was another high elf that was found to be the mother of the current Elven King. That was why there weren’t any people left that knew about the current Elven King’s true heritage.

The past Elven King though kept fading because he missed that human wife of his before completely ruining his health and dying, leaving the throne to the current Elven King.

Since they had used a deceased high elf as a cover for the current Elven King’s mother, there was no one else that could take his place as the Elven King.

That was how the current Elven King took his throne.

After taking his throne, he began implementing many small changes. These were truly miniscule changes that didn’t seem to have any effect on the elves in general, but it did slowly transform their society to its current state.

With the long lives that elves had, it really was a long process before they became like this.

That was the reason why Vivrum hadn’t acted directly before this.

But now it seemed that it had reached a point where Vivrum just couldn’t ignore them anymore.

When she was done with her story, she asked me, ”Will you help the elves reclaim what they’ve lost before?”

”You know that you’re asking me to start a coup, right?” I asked in response to this without giving a real answer.

Vivrum didn’t say anything at first, but eventually she gave a small nod of affirmation.

That caused a grim look to appear on my face.

I was about to reject this, but Vivrum said, ”Before you say anything, I want you to talk to someone first.”

After she said this, there was someone that came over.

Before this, there wasn’t a single person that approached since those priests and priestesses that served Vivrum had kept everyone away. But now there was someone that approached the bottom of the Tree of Life where I was talking to Vivrum.

It was a familiar person.

It was the High Priestess.

”I’m sure that you’ve already heard everything about what has been happening in our Elven Kingdom, but there are a few more things that I wanted to tell you. These are things that you surely will want to know.” She said as soon as she walked over.

I couldn’t help revealing a look of doubt after hearing this, but seeing the serious look on her face…

I slowly gave a nod and waited to hear what she said.

The things that she said confirmed the things that I had been thinking.

In fact, these were things that I had already been expecting to hear. It was just that there were a few more things that I didn’t know about that did surprise me in the end.

First, the maids at the manor…

They had been taken from their families as children and were trained to be maids like in human society.

But it wasn’t as if they could just take innocent elves.

To do this, they had to find a way to take elves away and punish them without rousing the suspicion of the public.

That was why the Elven King created new laws overtime that facilitated this.

These were laws where those that broke it would be considered traitors to the Elven Kingdom.

Once they received the label of traitor to the kingdom, it was only natural that they would be taken away to be punished.

The young female elves were trained as maids, but the families of these young female elves…

That raised the second thing that the Elven Kingdom had been doing.

They had been secretly trading resources with the surrounding human kingdoms.

Once the elves were found of treason, they were sent off to the work camps to create these goods that were sold off to the humans.

It wasn’t just the Elven King who did this, it was also the other high elves that had been corrupted by the Elven King that helped him do all of this.

In the end, they acted like humans did with their large manors and luxurious items.

”If this continues, it will be the end of the Elven Kingdom.”

With a bow, the High Priestess said, ”We ask that you help us save the Elven Kingdom before it’s too late.”
