A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1163: Chapter 1163: No Backsies!

Another wedding anniversary, another proposal, the atmosphere was wonderful, someone finally fulfilled his longstanding wish on the sofa surrounded by sunflowers, doing as he pleased with the person beneath him.

He thought it necessary to plant a patch of sunflowers outside the villa.

When Mu Yan woke up, she was already back in bed, her body was extremely sore and weak. Someone had become increasingly indulgent lately, she considered herself to have good physical endurance, yet she was still worn out by him.

She looked at the pink diamond ring on her hand, and couldn’t help but smile.

Forget it, seeing how sincere he was, she’d forgive him.

She glanced at her phone; it was already past ten, she had succeeded in sleeping in again.

After putting down the phone, she sat up and instantly remembered one thing—yesterday, in the heat of the moment, he forgot to take precautions.

She thought about the dates, it wasn’t her safe period these days; could she be pregnant, especially since he did it so many times.

Mu Yan’s hand dropped to her abdomen, the more she thought about it, the more uneasy she became, her face turned pale. What if she was pregnant?

Now was not a good time to have a child.

But if she were pregnant, she couldn’t just abort the child, right?

The more she thought about it, the more agitated she felt inside.

When Jiang Jingheng entered the bedroom, he saw Mu Yan lying in the covers, looking as if she was about to cry.

He panicked a little, walked over, put the water cup on the table, and asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Seeing him made Mu Yan angry, ”It’s all your fault.”

Jiang Jingheng felt a bit bewildered, but thinking about her grumpy demeanor in bed, where she often acted fierce with him in the mornings.

He didn’t feel uncomfortable, rather he thought it was a part of the fun between husband and wife, especially when she gazed at him with that shy yet angry expression that made his heart itch.

He went along with her, saying, ”Yes, it’s all my fault.”

Mu Yan reached out and punched him a couple of times, ”You’re so annoying! What if someone got hurt!”

Someone’s life? Jiang Jingheng’s eyelids twitched, asking, ”What do you mean?”

Mu Yan pursed her lips and said in a small voice, ”Last night, we weren’t careful.”

Seeing her struggling expression, Jiang Jingheng instantly understood, recalling the scenes from last night, his body felt inflamed, and his voice turned hoarse, ”It’s my fault, I couldn’t control myself yesterday.”

Looking at his heated gaze, Mu Yan’s face instantly flushed, she pinched him, ”Early in the morning and you’re thinking all sorts of things again, no thinking allowed! Now tell me, what should we do?”

”What should we do about what?”

”What if I’m pregnant?”

Jiang Jingheng replied without hesitation, ”If you don’t want it, then abort it.”

”Jiang Jingheng, you jerk!” Mu Yan shouted angrily, looking at him with a face full of accusation, ”You say you love me, but you’re just deceiving me, you’re just an irresponsible scoundrel!”

Seeing her angry expression, Jiang Jingheng realized he might have taken the joke too far, he hugged her and soothed, ”I was just kidding, if there really is a baby, we’ll keep it, it’s not like we can’t afford it.”

”But I don’t want kids right now.” Mu Yan pouted, ”I don’t want to become a mom so early.”

”It’s not certain that you’ll get pregnant, if you want, you could take a contraceptive pill?” Jiang Jingheng tentatively suggested.

Hearing this, Mu Yan glared at him again, ”It’s obviously your fault, why do I have to be the one to suffer? Seems like I shouldn’t have agreed to you yesterday!”

Seeing her angry appearance, although he knew her words were half true and half false, his heart clenched, a tingling and aching feeling surged. He held her tight, a gleam of dark light flashed across his light brown eyes, ”Baby, don’t say that, you can’t go back on your word.”
