Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Loud screams and small growling noise woke Tian Ai up. She instantly shot up vigilantly glancing around in the dark room. ’it’s dark..... how long was I...’

She swiftly checked her clothes. Everything was intact, including her gun and her knife.

Tian Ai stood up.. Her legs were trembling slightly. Her eyes widened in fear. She hastily ran into the bathroom to check. Everything was as before. She did not have any signs of assault.

’Then why.... why did they dope me? What was their purpose? There is only one way to find out,’

With nimble fingers she loaded the bullets into her gun. She removed the safety of it and aimed it at the mirror. ’I’ve had enough! That old Murong has done it this time!!,’

She checked if her knife was still in her arms’ reach and strode over to the nearby room.

Tian placed her head on the door, listening to the sounds inside. A small scraping sound was heard. ’What is that sound....either way it ends today!’

Unhesitant, she kicked the door open and shot at him.

”Whoa! Whoa!!” Zou Yue jumped up in shock. ”What the hell?” he too took out his crossbow and swiftly shot at this person.

In the dark room, he only had one salt/oil lamp. He could not make out the person’s face, but he definitely could feel the killing intent in all their shots. He swiftly hid behind the bed with his knife and crossbow in each hand.

’Who is this person? Is he trying to raid the place for food? But there is a supermarket right in front of this hotel!’

”My backpack is there. You better reserve those bullets for the undead buddy.” He said, loading up his crossbow. But accidentally the drawstring broke. ’Shit, what now? This was supposed to be my long-range weapon,’

He tossed it to the aside, holding only his knife in hand.

”Hey whatever you want, you can take it. We don’t have to do this,” he said calmly, moving behind the screen.

The room was dark thankfully, so the person who was shooting at him also had limited vision. Just as in his previous life, after the meteor stuck, the electricity just vanished along with usage of all the electrical equipment. His phone was just a block of plastic now, completely useless.

He sensed the person move towards the bed, holding the gun upright.

When his back was facing him, he charged and tackled this person to the bed.

The person below him grunted.

”Enough! The more noise we create, the more trouble we bring in! Shut up,” he muffled his mouth with the sheets.

His sharp ears heard a small screeching and scrambling noise outside.

’They definitely heard that darn shot!’

He placed his knife on that person’s neck. ”shh.. Please shut up,” he whispered desperately.

The person quieted down.

He glanced out the door, watching a slumped down figure walking in the hallway. The zombie paused slowly by the broken door.

Yue vigilantly glanced at it.

He was in greater danger now. If he took his knife off the assailant, he might shoot, but he doesn’t defend himself he would be zombie meal.

He moved closer and whispered, ”Listen to me, that thing out there is going to kill us if we don’t do anything. Just please this once work with me, I’ll give you all the food you need. Nod if you understand,”

The person nodded.

Yue took his knife off with his hands raised. Slowly, he moved to the door.

The zombie turned to him, growling softly. It was the female maid that used to work here. Her outfit was already stained with blood that could only mean that she already had a taste for blood.

He moved swiftly and slit her throat without a sound.

The zombie grudged softly, going down to its knees. Even so, it kept on trying to reach him.

He hacked at her hands and pushed her off in the other direction.

After which he tried his best to restore the door. Thankfully, only the latch was broke the door was completely intact. He placed it there quietly.

”stop,” a cold barrel hit the back off his head.

Zou Yue paused. ”I am trying to save us..”

”.....” the gun remained firmly on his head.

”I am serious. If you want to survive, you can stick to me. I’ll help you, but let me tell you will regret killing me,”

”I don’t regret any of it,” a soft voice whispered, pushing him with his gun.

Yue frowned. it was a girl’s voice. He glanced back with his hands up in the air. The room was dark, but from the faint candle light, he could see the cold, detached brown eyes glaring at him intently.

”Tian Ai?”

”Stop saying my name, you don’t deserve to,”

Zou Yue confusedly looked at her. ’What is going on? Why is she trying to hurt me? Wasn’t she searching for me as well? This is so confusing...’

”Can you explain why you are trying to kill me?” he asked, raising his brows slightly.

The girl scoffed. ”You know why?”

”Why?”

”I said you know why?”

”Like seriously, I don’t know why. Care to explain? Please,” he sweetly smiled at her.

The girl’s expression distorted to disgust for a second. ”You doped me and tried to kill me. Do you think I will spare you?,”

”I-I what now? I did not do anything to you.” he moved close, but she pressed the gun hard on his forehead, pushing him closer to the door.

”Shut up.”

”okay okay... let me get this situation clear. You think that I doped you and I am trying to kill you. Which part of me looks like a killer?” he looked at her with a sweet smile.

”You just killed that woman in cold blood!”

Yue just pointed out the door. ”That was not a human,”

”You are the one who has lost humanity,” she cussed out loud. ”I should just kill you right here and get it over with, but….” she dragged him over to the bed and made him sit down.

Zou Yue calmly sat there, shaking his legs. ”Tian Ai~”

”Shut up, answer only my questions? Did the Murong family send you here?”

”No,” Yue frowned deeply. ’Is that why she attacked me? Wait, why does she have a gun? Guns are illegal here. Is she a cop? I don’t think so then how...’

”Then why do you know my name and why did you pretend to be me in that party?”

Yue calmly gazed into her eyes. ”Because I wanted to find you..”

”Why?”

”Because.... ” Yue smiled softly ”you are my sister,”
