Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 3423: Chapter 3423: Obviously Using Them as Tools

”What did you say, that thing wants to kill us?”

Hong Tianxu was stunned. They had just speculated about the existence of that thing, and it already wanted to make a move on them.

He thought of the moment his brother’s steps paused earlier. Could it be... He turned to Bai Yan. ”Brother, just now...”

”Yes.”

Bai Yan nodded, without waiting for him to finish.

”I indeed sensed a killing intent, directly targeting us. It’s just that Brother Jiyun and the others didn’t notice anything, so I thought it was my imagination. But it turns out it was a real sensation.”

He sighed.

”So... what do we do now?” Hong Tianxu was a bit nervous and asked.

He’s not afraid they can’t beat whatever that thing is, but the current situation is that they don’t even know what it is, and it’s been watching them without them seeing it.

It shows that thing is indeed difficult to deal with.

”I previously thought, as long as the well water doesn’t interfere with the river water, now it seems, it’s quite interesting.” An Jiuyue touched her stomach with one hand, smiling.

Fear? Naturally, there’s nothing to be afraid of.

The reputation of the Endless Desert didn’t just arise overnight; it’s been there all along.

Since this reputation exists, it means that thing has always been in the Endless Desert, akin to a local tyrant, an emperor of the land.

”That thing doesn’t want to confront us right now,” Qian Jiyun said.

”Yes, I think so too.”

Bai Yan nodded. The killing intent just now faded too quickly, which made him think it was an illusion.

”Brother Jiyun, Sister-in-law, in my opinion, that thing has been watching us for so long without making a move. It’s probably trying to use us to deal with the Evil Dragon,” he said.

”Is that so?”

Hong Tianxu found it hard to believe.

”We should all be under its surveillance. The words we’ve spoken before, it should have heard them,” Bai Yan said.

”What do you mean?”

Hong Tianxu still didn’t understand what this had to do with that thing using them to deal with the Evil Dragon.

”Silly Dragon, has there been any movement in the area where the Evil Dragon is in the desert?” Qian Jiyun asked the Silly Dragon.

The Silly Dragon, which was already swimming over when they entered, quickly interjected upon hearing Qian Jiyun’s question, ”No, it’s been in that spot the whole time without moving.”

”Then that makes sense.”

An Jiuyue chuckled softly.

”In the Endless Desert, if I’m not mistaken, it’s only the Evil Dragon and that thing. If that thing and the Evil Dragon are in cahoots, they would’ve notified the Evil Dragon already since it knows we came in to kill it, rather than remaining completely silent like this.”

They hadn’t avoided discussing that they had slain several Evil Dragons before entering the Endless Desert. Such words would be fatal for an Evil Dragon.

Even if it didn’t flee and wanted to confront them, it wouldn’t be completely silent.

Therefore, it’s clear that the thing never informed the Evil Dragon of their arrival. The only purpose for doing this is to wait for them to confront the Evil Dragon.

It’s obvious it’s using them as a tool to deal with the Evil Dragon.

”The presence of that thing in the Endless Desert predates the Evil Dragon. Naturally, it considers the desert its territory. Now that an Evil Dragon has appeared on its turf, how could it be willing to allow it?”
