Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 3420: Chapter 3420: Harming in Secret

As long as they don’t eat humans or animals, it has nothing to do with him. He enjoys his freedom, being secretly looked at a few times doesn’t mean he’ll lose a piece of flesh, he’s at ease.

”The spirit monsters don’t eat humans or animals, but they need to absorb the essence of heaven and earth, the essence of the sun and moon. Look at this desert, is there any essence of heaven and earth here? Even the essence of the sun and moon... there is none!”

An Jiuyue said.

”This...”

Hong Tianxu hesitated for a moment, his eyes full of confusion.

He looked at Qian Jiyun, then at Bai Yan, and seeing they were silent, he had to ask, ”What does this mean?”

”This Endless Desert clearly lacks any essence of heaven and earth, so the spirit monsters can only absorb the energy from the humans who enter here, understand?”

An Jiuyue explained more clearly.

Upon hearing this, Hong Tianxu’s face turned completely pale.

He finally came to realize, he was wondering why he’s hungry every day when he hasn’t expended much energy.

It turns out that it’s not the food he ate being consumed by him, but being stolen, isn’t it?

In this sense, the so-called spirit monsters aren’t harmless. They don’t directly kill and devour, but secretly harm people, and in the most torturous way.

After all, not everyone can withstand hunger.

These spirit monsters aren’t good creatures, if he catches one, he definitely... uh, he lacks the ability to kill, and even to catch it. It’s better to give up and save his effort.

However, even if he doesn’t have the ability, he believes Brother Jiyun and An Jiuyue do.

”If that’s really the case, then the spirit monster has unknowingly carried a lot of human lives on its back, hasn’t it?” he said.

Upon hearing this, Bai Yan’s face sank slightly.

In his memory, spirit monsters have always been kind-hearted, never harming human lives, but he didn’t expect that there would be a spirit monster in this Endless Desert, using such absurd means to harm beastmen.

If they truly guessed correctly, then they absolutely cannot allow the spirit monster to remain in the Endless Desert.

”What should we do now, should we find out that spirit monster and deal with it?” Hong Tianxu spoke again.

They were all silent, it felt like he was the only one thinking. Perhaps this was just their speculation, and the reality wasn’t like this at all. Perhaps this feeling of fullness and gravitational pressure is unique to the Endless Desert and has nothing to do with any spirit monster?

Just as he was speculating wildly, he heard An Jiuyue’s voice.

”These are just our guesses, maybe we felt wrong.” An Jiuyue said with a smile.

Even if it is true, the spirit monster is probably monitoring them. Who knows, maybe it’s listening clearly to what they are saying, would they really want the spirit monster to hear them discussing how to deal with it?

They don’t understand what that thing is, nor do they know its strength, so naturally, they can’t expose themselves first.

Moreover, to them, the people who died in the Endless Desert chose to be there themselves, no one forced them into the Endless Desert, and now in its current state, the Endless Desert is also a good training ground for beastmen.

Just need to grasp a good balance, act according to one’s means, and not be oblivious of one’s own limitations.

On the path of cultivation, where isn’t there danger, one can’t just assume spirit monsters are wrong for causing the death of some people.

Speaking of killing, haven’t they done it before? Which person’s hands aren’t stained with a few lives?
