Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 3048: Chapter 3048: Heading to the Cloud-Touching Forest for Investigation

They still have a glimmer of hope in Fan City.

“Those demonic beasts are no longer crazy,” he murmured.

Previously, it was evident that those demonic beasts were clearly in a frenzy, being controlled by something, which drove them to attack Fan City relentlessly.

But just now, those demonic beasts visibly calmed down, indicating that whatever was controlling them from behind was somehow hindered, forcing it to abandon control over those demonic beasts.

So, someone helped them, right?

“You all rest here and handle the corpses that need to be dealt with. I, the City Lord, will take people to inspect Cloud-Touching Forest.”

“City Lord, shall I accompany you?”

An elderly man worriedly suggested, this is their City Lord after all, how can he risk himself?

Everyone knows that those demonic beasts came from the Cloud-Touching Forest, though more from other places, but whatever controls the demonic beasts must be in the Cloud-Touching Forest without a doubt.

If they weren’t shorthanded here, they’d definitely go to Cloud-Touching Forest to fiercely confront that thing controlling the demonic beasts!

“No need, I’ll take the Personal Guard Squad, you handle things here. There are too many demonic beast corpses, they must be dealt with promptly. If any more demonic beasts come to attack… have everyone rest as needed.”

City Lord declined the elder’s kind offer, turning around to leave.

The elder didn’t say much upon seeing this, but took on all city affairs instead.

These days in Fan City, the beastmen are struggling tremendously, as long as the beastmen have a decent cultivation level, regardless of gender, they’ll be sent to the city walls.

The injured retreat, and another batch comes up, hardly having any time to rest.

Now the demonic beasts have stopped their assault, it’s the perfect time to reorganize, just in case, he says just in case, those demonic beasts return again?

…

At the entrance of Cloud-Touching Forest.

“Big brother, are we really going in?”

A man knitted his brow, covering his nose with one hand, asking the person beside him.

He couldn’t help but wonder, if they do go in, won’t they pass out from the stench emitted by the demonic beast corpses even before being attacked?

Because just standing outside, without even going in, he was already feeling overwhelmed.

Feeling the urge to vomit!

“In.”

Jing Wentian, the strategist referred to as Old Jing from the Le Family, uttered just one word.

Although their destination was Fan City, everyone knew Fan City was currently under attack by demonic beasts, and he received information that the culprit causing Fan City to be attacked by demonic beasts is in the Cloud-Touching Forest.

Moreover, the Young City Lord of White Lion City had gone into this Cloud-Touching Forest, which he guessed must be in pursuit of that thing.

“No really, big brother, what’s the point of us going in, do we really have to befriend those two couples? It seems pointless to us, doesn’t it?”

Another man also knitted his brow, asking his big brother.

They are just small characters, how could they possibly converse with those real big figures, he does have that bit of self-awareness.

“Yes, yes, big brother, those two couples aren’t the type we can associate with, and I’ve heard that Cloud-Touching Forest isn’t peaceful.”

Others joined in agreement, they should just head straight to Fan City, where manpower is much needed, and they might win the favor of the City Lord there.
