Chapter 2950: Chapter 2950: That’s Just Too Disrespectful

”Sorry to trouble City Lord Bai, but we’re planning to buy a residence in White Lion City.”

Before Qian Jiyun could speak, An Jiuyue took the lead and said. Since they’re going to be in the Beast Domain for many years, they definitely need a proper place to settle down.

And White Lion City is the best choice, as it’s quite close to the vortex through which they arrived.

Moreover, they just happened to rescue Hong Tianxu, thus getting acquainted with the City Lord of White Lion City. Why wouldn’t they take advantage of such convenience? Buying a house seems entirely reasonable.

”Jiyun, tomorrow let’s stroll around the city, buy a house first, and then ask City Lord Bai to help us apply for the Residence Command.”

”Alright.”

Qian Jiyun responded and then looked at City Lord Bai.

”Sorry to trouble City Lord Bai.”

”No trouble, no trouble at all.”

City Lord Bai quickly shook his head. It would be wonderful if the two of them could buy a residence in White Lion City.

”Tianxu, since they are your friends, show Young Master Qian and Madam Qian around the city these days and make sure to find them the best residence. As for the cost, just charge it to the City Lord Residence.”

”Got it, Uncle.”

Hong Tianxu replied, secretly giving his uncle a thumbs up.

By charging the cost of buying a residence to the City Lord Residence, they’ve provided a great convenience for Brother Qian and his wife. This friendship is definitely worth making.

Besides, he had mentioned to his uncle before that he hadn’t seen Brother Qian and his wife spending money at all the whole way. They are probably new to the Beast Domain and haven’t found a way to make money yet. What his uncle said also saves Brother Qian from embarrassment.

If Qian Jiyun and An Jiuyue knew his thoughts, they would have definitely slapped Hong Tianxu!

Are they spending no money because they’re poor? No, it’s because they have everything in their space and don’t need to spend money. Labeling them as poor is quite disrespectful, isn’t it?

As for what City Lord Bai said about charging the cost to the City Lord Residence, they just listened and didn’t refuse at the moment, but that doesn’t mean they’d actually use the City Lord’s money to buy a house.

However, speaking of which, they indeed don’t have much currency from the Beast Domain on them.

After chatting a bit longer, City Lord Bai told Qian Jiyun and the others that he would host a dinner to welcome them, asked Hong Tianxu to bring them over later, and then he left first.

”Young Master Hong, where is the auction house in White Lion City?” An Jiuyue asked.

Having just arrived in the Beast Domain, the Rhythmic Soul Devil Jade mentioned that the most valuable things here are medicinal pills and weapons, and some rare items can also be auctioned.

Although the medicinal pills she refines are different from those in the Beast Domain, their effects are still good. She plans to auction some of them off first.

As for Jiyun, he also wants to sell some of the weapons he used to idly craft.

Although they have some coins on them, not too many, and they’ll have numerous expenses in the future. They don’t mind having more money, as their space can hold plenty.

”The auction house, there’s a big one not far from the City Lord Residence, Dragon Tiger Auction House. You can find anything there, but prices are a bit steep. Sister-in-law, are you looking to buy something?”

”Yes, take us to have a look tomorrow.”

An Jiuyue didn’t explain further, just asked Hong Tianxu to show them the way.

Whether they decide to sell something can be decided at the auction house, they’re not in a hurry and can take their time based on the situation.
