Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2944: Chapter 2944: Don’t Call Me Fu

He did mention that it takes more than two days to reach the City Lord Residence from there.

Of course, that’s if you travel both day and night. If you rest at night, it takes longer. Isn’t five days quite normal?

”Um, Brother Qian, sister-in-law, I didn’t explain it clearly before. Traveling with the White Lion Beast day and night takes only two and a half days, but since we rest at night, it’s slower.”

He hastily explained; he really couldn’t afford to offend these two. He didn’t want to leave a bad impression on them.

”Yes.”

Qian Jiyun responded lightly without further comment.

”Young Master Hong, I wasn’t feeling well, and Jiyun was worried for me. Please understand,” An Jiuyue said, trying to lighten the mood with a smile towards Young Master Hong.

”It’s nothing, it’s my oversight.”

Young Master Hong quickly shook his head. He hadn’t expected Madam Qian’s health to be so frail. After just a few days of travel, she already looked so pale.

No wonder they want to tame the Soaring Eagle. Without a flying mount, they might not be able to navigate the Beast Domain.

An Jiuyue, who was labeled as ”frail”: ”...”

How am I frail? It’s just that I’m expecting a child. The main issue was the bumpy carriage ride, which had nothing to do with frailty. Why look at me with sympathetic eyes? What do they mean?

”Young Master Hong, please lead the way.”

”Alright, alright.”

Young Master Hong responded and led them into the City Lord Residence.

After entering the City Lord Residence, he didn’t immediately take Qian Jiyun and his wife to see his uncle but first settled them in.

”Brother Qian, sister-in-law, this is my courtyard. Please rest here for a while. Later, I’ll bring my uncle and aunt to meet you.” After instructing his subordinates to look after them, he quickly left.

He was in a hurry to see his uncle and explain Qian Jiyun’s identity to avoid any conflicts.

...

”Fu, I heard you brought two friends. Why haven’t you introduced them to your uncle?”

Before seeing him, one could hear his voice. Hong Dafu, also known as Young Master Hong, hadn’t even entered the main courtyard when he heard his uncle’s booming voice.

”Uncle, I’ve told you several times, don’t call me ’Dafu’. I’ve changed my name. I’m now called Tianxu, Hong Tianxu!”

Hong Tianxu’s face turned ashen. Every time someone called him Dafu, he felt like ripping up his family’s genealogy. What kind of name did his father pick for him? When he was young, calling him Hong Xiaofu was cute and all, but...

He’s grown up now. How could he be called ’Dafu’? It’s utterly disgraceful.

So, he decisively changed his name. From now on, he’s Tianxu, Hong Tianxu. Absolutely no more Dafu, which sounds greasy and unpleasant.

”Tsk tsk, aren’t names just meant to be called? What difference does it make?” the City Lord uncle smacked his lips and laughed.

”If you have the guts, call Aunt ’Hua’ and see if she likes it.”

Hong Tianxu rolled his eyes at his uncle, retorting boldly.

The Hong family’s naming incompetence was hereditary. His Great Grandfather named his sons and daughters: his father was Dafa, his second uncle was Cai, his eldest aunt was Hua, and his youngest aunt was Lv.

By his generation, he became Dafu. He even had a younger sister named Little Hong. It’s likely that after a few years when she marries, she’ll be called Hong!
