Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2294: Chapter 2294: Tell him not to come back for now

The Xun Family Head saw the woman and immediately pulled her into his embrace, pressing his oily, fat face onto hers, while laughing cheerfully.

”You’re back, you’re back. I’ve missed you so much, let me give you a kiss.”

”Oh stop it, Family Head, there are others here.”

The woman feigned shyness as she pushed him away lightly, but not forcefully, as if merely scratching an itch.

Their actions caused the woman in the dark brocade clothing nearby to frown, but ultimately, she did not dare to speak up, only hiding the disgust in her eyes while seriously observing the Xun Family Head.

”Family Head, have the matters outside been settled?”

The Xun Family Head’s good mood was disrupted, and he turned to roll his eyes at her.

”What business is it of yours, a woman, to meddle in outside affairs? What, you want to go outside with the Family Head to handle matters too? Fool!”

The woman’s eyes reddened upon hearing this.

She was merely concerned, how could she be scolded for it? The Family Head had become increasingly excessive over the years. Had he forgotten that it was thanks to her daughter-in-law’s family that he could become the Xun Family Head in the first place?

”Family Head, forgive me, I was only asking.”

”Asking what? If you have nothing to do, learn from Yi’er and dress yourself up a bit. Look at your face, just seeing it makes me lose my appetite. Hurry back to your courtyard and don’t come out to embarrass yourself!”

The Xun Family Head scolded her.

”Family Head, don’t say that, the madam is just concerned about you.”

The red-clad woman, seeing the madam being scolded, had a look of schadenfreude in her eyes, but still pretended to persuade, while also caressing the Xun Family Head’s chest.

”Don’t be angry, Family Head. Don’t let it affect your health, it’s not worth it.”

”Yi’er is the sensible one.”

The Xun Family Head kissed the red-clad woman again, then snorted coldly at Mrs. Xun.

”Why are you still standing here? Aren’t you going to leave?” He couldn’t bear to look at this old hag anymore.

Mrs. Xun bit her lip and looked at the two before her with bloodshot eyes, could only say a word of farewell, and left with her maid.

”Madam, the Family Head is too much.”

After leaving, Mrs. Xun’s maid was unhappy and felt unjust for her lady.

The madam had done so much for the Family Head back then, even offending her daughter-in-law’s family, and now that the Family Head had other women, he no longer valued the madam?

”Alas.”

Mrs. Xun sighed lightly.

What could she do? Men being fickle was beyond her control.

”Where is Qi’er? When will he return?”

”The Eldest Young Master has already sent word that he can return in two days. Madam, don’t worry, once the Eldest Young Master returns, he’ll definitely stand up for you.”

The maid said.

Upon hearing this, Mrs. Xun shook her head and sighed again.

”Send a message to Qi’er, telling him not to come back for now,” she instructed softly.

She had some idea of the external affairs the Family Head was involved in, and even if she didn’t, the Heavenly Fire had struck many places, sparing only their Xun Family, she could deduce it.

There was a constant unease in her heart, and if Qi’er were to return, she feared something major would happen.

”Madam, you’re not letting the Eldest Young Master come back?” The maid was somewhat surprised, thinking she had misheard.

The Eldest Young Master was the young master of the Xun family, and he hadn’t returned from his travels for years. If the Family Head’s favoritism towards the concubine reached an extreme, only the Eldest Young Master could stand up for the madam when he returned.
