Chapter 1530: Section 1531: The Former Little Demon Chapter 1530: Section 1531: The Former Little Demon The moment The Deceiver stepped onto the Boundless Battle Arena, Angel was stunned.

Even though The Deceiver was wearing a Joker mask and had various disguises, Angel recognized him immediately.

Because this contestant, seemingly imitating the character of the “Milk Baron”, indeed had some connection with Angel.

Counting up, they both belonged to the lineage of Illusion Demon Island.

However, The Deceiver did not live on Illusion Demon Island, but resided in the Lockhwa Society.

Lockhwa Society, belonged to the territory of Flora.

And this deceiver, was none other than Flora’s disciple–Spiwey.

Nowadays, perhaps few people recognize Spiwey, even being in Barbarian Cave, he was someone with a thin presence. But if one were to mention Spiwey’s former name, probably everyone would know…

“I noticed that your gaze has been on that deceiver, it looks like you know him?” At this moment, Farina, who had finished explaining the judging rules, looked at Angel.

Angel remained silent for a moment, then nodded slightly: “Yes, I hadn’t seen his face before, so I didn’t know who he was. Now that I’ve seen him with my own eyes, I recognize him…”

“Who is he?” asked Farina curiously.

“He is also from the lineage of Illusion Demon Island, a disciple of Flora. It seems he hasn’t participated in Sky Tower before, so this is the first time I knew his name. Also, his name is… Spiwey.”

“I heard from Lianna that Flora had recently taken a new disciple, so it’s him.” Farina paused for a moment, then said: “His name is Spiwey, huh? That’s an interesting name.”

“Master of Trickery Spiwey, a legendary wizard from five thousand years ago.” Suddenly, Klemene from the other side spoke: “It seems this deceiver is planning to follow in the footsteps of Master of Trickery, not only is the name exactly the same, even the title is somewhat similar.”

Once Klemene joined the conversation, Angel’s expression subtly turned strange: “Old Night Wizard, it seems you have quite the research on Spiwey?”

Klemene shook his head: “I don’t know much about Spiwey myself, but I had a close friend who liked to research Spiwey a lot. He even collected some things left behind by Spiwey.”

When Klemene mentioned his friend, a trace of sadness flickered in his eyes.

“However, he later fell in Sleepless City, his soul’s whereabouts unknown.”

Farina exclaimed, “Fallen in Sleepless City? Klemene, are you perhaps talking about… Little Demon?”

Klemene solemnly nodded: “Yes, that’s right. It’s Little Demon Glarke.”

Farina furrowed her brows: “I thought his soul had returned to Dusknights’ Blade, but it seems it’s still not found?”

Farina pondered for a moment: “Right, have you asked a Prophet Wizard to search for it?”

Klemene nodded: “My mentor asked Asetos to search, but still, there’s no news.”

When Klemene mentioned Asetos, sitting on the other side, Hydra, one of its three heads, gently turned, although it did not open its eyes, the head faced Klemene.

“Asetos can’t find a soul?” queried Hydra in a low voice.

This was the first time Angel heard Hydra’s voice, very deep, with an extremely strange accent. This accent sounded serene, but upon careful reflection, it held an uncomfortable heaviness, like facing the ocean before a storm, damp, oppressive, with dark currents surging.

“Yes, he couldn’t find it,” said Klemene.

“Even Asetos can’t find a soul? Is it really not found, or is it…” Hydra muttered to itself, then went silent.

Asetos, known as “Chen Mai’s Transcender,” is one of the eighteen Observers of the Crown Star Church.

Hydra, known as “Guardian of the Dead Sea,” is also an Observer of the Crown Star Church.

Wizards in Southern Domain generally know that Hydra has a very peculiar temperament, even as an Observer, it has few friends in the Crown Star Church, but it has a particularly close relationship with Asetos. No one knew why, but it was rumored because both were non-human forms, Hydra looked like a sea monster with three heads, while Asetos was a skeleton, thus they had a mutual understanding.

Of course, whether the rumors were true, no one knew. But their close relationship was undeniable.

Just like now, Klemene noticed that Hydra was interested in the soul that even Asetos couldn’t find, he took the opportunity to speak, hoping to use Hydra’s power to help him search for the lost soul of Glarke.

But Hydra flatly refused: “Since Asetos has already searched, I cannot help you.”

Regardless of whether “Little Demon” Glarke’s soul could be found, if Hydra were to help, it would mean interfering in the dealings between Asetos and Dusknights’ Blade, clearly making Asetos uncomfortable.

Being a close friend of Asetos, both emotionally and rationally, Hydra would not choose to intervene.

Moreover, since Asetos is known as “Chen Mai’s Transcender,” his search for souls absolutely surpasses that of Hydra. If he can’t find it, then it truly cannot be found, or there are other secrets…owards which cannot be spoken.

Komone was rejected, and he showed a face full of distress.

Angel silently watched the scene unfold before him. Though he appeared calm and unruffled on the surface, there was a strange and awkward feeling in his heart.

Because they argued back and forth, the person they were searching for was actually right in front of them.

Angel’s gaze moved to the Boundless Battle Arena, where the “Deceiver” wearing a Joker mask, Spiwey, stood.

Spiwey was indeed his real name, but the name he originally used was actually… Glarke.

That is, the “little Demon” who once gave the Dusknights’ Blade endless headaches.

Since the judging room ran out of topics, it fell silent for several minutes. At this moment, the narrator outside finally finished introducing all the permanent judges, and it was time for the special judges.

“Next, we have the specially invited judges for this event!” Narrator: “First, not only is she the most enchanting Ocean Mage, but also a member of the Research and Development Institute, nicknamed…”

As the narrator spoke, within the judging room, Farlina smiled and said, “It seems it’s my turn.”

As her words ended, Farlina walked down from her seat to the center of the judging room, where a short-range Teleportation Array was located.

Farlina’s figure disappeared, and at the same time, in the Boundless Battle Arena, Farlina, whose appearance flickered with a faint water light, slowly emerged in the suspended judges’ seats.

Farlina’s appearance solicited a wave of calls from the audience. Not to mention her status as a member of the Research and Development Institute, her beauty alone was a source of enchantment that drove people crazy.

When the audience’s emotions were lifted to their peak, the narrator announced the second special judge to take the stage.

“Old Night” Komone.

Compared to Farlina, Komone received far fewer cheers, but that was to be expected since he was only substituting for the Mentor Grishus as a judge.

The audience’s reaction was not significant, but in the Boundless Battle Arena, the Deceiver, who had been indifferent to the outside world, slightly shifted his gaze when Komone’s appearance was projected on the overhead light screen.

As the “little Demon” Glarke, Komone was his best friend.

Seeing Komone again under these circumstances felt like a dream.

The third special judge to take the stage, Angel thought it would be his turn, but the narrator announced, “This is a messenger from the Mysterious Seas, one of the Observers from the Crown Star Church…”

Undoubtedly, it must be Hydra.

Angel’s expression turned slightly strange, which meant he was arranged as the finale?

He already felt quite embarrassed being introduced one by one in front of the public, and being the finale just doubled his embarrassment.

With Hydra’s entrance, in the floating seats in mid-air, only the last spot remained.

The venue was very quiet, with almost everyone gazing at that one vacant seat, guessing who might be the final special judge making a grand appearance.

In a VIP room within the Boundless Battle Arena, Greya also looked at the hovering seat in mid-air and quietly asked Lianna beside her, “The last position should be for Angel, and his nickname will probably be announced then. What do you think Angel’s nickname will be?”

Lianna: “What, he didn’t tell you?”

“I asked him, but he did not tell me,” Greya shook her head, “I heard from Sanders that Angel’s taste in naming isn’t very good. I suspect he’s chosen a poor name and is embarrassed to tell me.”

A poor name choice? Lianna couldn’t help but recall what David had mentioned about Angel’s nickname during the previous Sky Tower competition. She shrugged, “I think it should be fine, it can’t get any worse.”

Greya nodded: “True, actually, the outside nickname ’Music Box Artisan’ I thought was quite good. His music boxes are indeed unique, and I doubt anyone else in the Southern Domain could replicate his music boxes.”

Especially, those integrated with Mysterious Concrete Objects.

“Speaking of which, what aspect will his nickname focus on?” Lianna: “Is it Illusion Technique or Alchemy?”

Generally, a nickname, acting as a personal alias, mainly focuses on the individual’s talent direction, though some are completely unrelated or arbitrarily chosen, like “Mediocre” Muse’s nickname, which has always been criticized.

But according to Angel’s character, it should not deviate from his personal talent, perhaps hovering between Illusion Technique and Alchemy.

Which direction might it lean towards?

“I think it leans towards Alchemy, as that’s what he’s most known for outside now,” Greya stated.

“But his Illusion Technique isn’t bad either, and…” Lianna was about to mention the “Nightmare Soul Body,” but considering Greya was an outsider, she eventually did not speak of it, merely saying, “His lord Illusion Demon focuses on training him in the Illusion Technique. I tend to think the nickname might lean towards Illusion Technique.”

As they guessed, the narrator, who had been silent for a long time, finally spoke again.

“The next person, I believe everyone present will be familiar with. His name is the one mentioned most in the Sky Mechanical City in recent years.”
