Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 566: Chapter 566 - Lovey Dovey Time with Grumpy Laerad (Part 1)

In the shower, I made sure we had a great time together and did not forget to have a little hanky panky once in a while too. I still remember how Laerad did not have a habit of taking long showers before, well, that was until he met me. From the way he has always done things before, he can just use magic to clean himself up and honestly, he has always been immaculately clean like there was a dirt and dust barrier around him all the time. He always smelled like a garden of fresh flowers and looked like he just showered all the time too.

(A/N: I wish that everyone can smell and look clean all the time with no effort at all. LOL)

I made sure to bring out my handmade bath essentials so we can enjoy a bubble bath together. He liked nice looking and good smelling stuff around him so he liked the bath bombs the first time he tried it so I always have some with me in my storage for whenever I visit him.

His love for things that are nice to look at is quite obvious with how he designed the little white hut and how he filled his designated home with lots of flowers. I try to cater to his tastes so I bring him stuff that he most likely would love. I sometimes tease him by sending him not so good ones at times like the giant squid from last time.

After our lovely shower, I carried him (like a little princess that he is) to the bedroom and towel dried his hair like a helpless little kid. He likes it when I patiently towel down his hair like this. He also makes sure to return the favor to me afterwards.

I remember how I got scolded by him one time when I used quick drying magic to remove water from his whole body after a shower. It turns out that he hates it when I try to do things simple tasks too fast or too efficiently because he feels like I am in a hurry to just get over with the activities I am having with him. I guess at this point, we can safely say that his chosen love languages are quality time and touch so to speak.

Once the both of us are towel-dried, we both laid on the bed and just stared at the ceiling. It was funny how we are now so comfortable with each other’s presence that there is no more need for words. We can just enjoy each other’s company like this even if it is just laying on bed while staring at the ceiling like this.

He still gets shy though like blushing, looking away and even now with how he covered himself up from his feet to his shoulders with the blanket. He has always been like this so I don’t really mind it that much. It is not like I will not be able to sneak inside those blankets of his. It does not provide that much protection against me either.

While he was staring blankly at the ceiling, I made a few actions in a quick succession before he can escape me. I turned towards his direction, scooted my body towards him, lifted his blanket to get in and gave him a side hug. Laerad gasped in surprise and could only say, ”You...” as I just simply wrapped one of my arms and one of my legs on top of his body then buried my face on the crook of his neck.

He scoffed and turned away so that his back was facing me. Don’t get his actions wrong. He isn’t angry. When his stomach started bulging by a bit, he started preferring the role of a little spoon when we cuddle like this in bed.

I hugged him tighter towards my body, putting one arm to support his head and serve as his pillow while my other hand was placed gently on top of his lower abdomen. He held on to my hand that was on his stomach almost immediately. I heard him sigh and hum in contentment at the position we are in. It is quite easy to make him happy and I love that fact.

As we were cuddling, I couldn’t stop my thoughts from wandering to realizations I have been having recently about my mystique and deity husbands. The first thing I realized was how surprisingly, no matter how many months on the way they are on their pregnancies, my mystique’s husbands’ and only deity husband’s abdomens don’t stretch or bulge that much.

Their stomachs are not entirely flat but also not that bulging. You can just compare it to someone whose stomach got bigger due to eating a bit too much food or drinking a bit too much alcohol over a fun weekend. Still, it certainly doesn’t look like someone who has been pregnant for atleast half a year and definitely not with twins (or even triplets in Laerad’s case). If you think about the fact that Makisig, Vaelion and Reiss are about to give birth soon, it is even more unbelievable.

I did ask them regularly how they feel especially when I noticed this anomaly. The question was more out concern but also a mix of curiosity. I asked if the current situation (size of their pregnant bellies) was even normal and they assured me that everything is going fine with them and the kids. They honestly told me though that their stomach seemed to be flatter than their human counterparts and in my standards of a ”heavily pregnant” person, it does not mean that they don’t feel the occasional uncomfortable feeling or the weight of their middle area getting heavier little by little over time.

I forced my thoughts back to the present as I hugged Laerad a but more tightly and I inhaled the refreshing scent being exuded by his body. While we were cuddling comfortably, I started caressing his cute belly gently like how he likes to do it on his own whenever he is idle. I can feel his body relaxing even more as if it was melting into mine as I continued the gentle rubbing motion.

Just as he has felt relaxed for several minutes, my naughty self decided to start placing random feather-light kisses on his nape, shoulders and upper back areas. His body flinched and shivered whenever my lips made contact with his warm skin. The man, being clearly aroused, leaned his back towards me even more instead of the expected reaction of trying to avoid my kisses as if he is encouraging me to do him even more.

Since his body is quite honest about liking what I was doing to him, I decided to tease this little flirt a bit more by playfully nibbling his lower earlobe which made him moan my name softly. Damn. That soft and breathy voice he just used can make anybody lose control.

I tried to control my urges as much as I can since he hates it when I seem to be in a hurry to do the deed immediately. I also promised myself that I will use this time that I have with him to convince him that I like him just the way he is and that I still want him the same way I did from the first time I met him. I don’t want him to feel that he has lost favor because I have other husbands and I will never agree to how he believes that he isn’t as beautiful as before now that he is pregnant.

I answered his breathy moan with a whisper as I softly said onto his ears that I want to have a taste of his lips at that moment. His response was immediate as he slowly turned his head to my direction then he initiated a kiss on my lips.

As we were kissing, my hand resting on his lower abdomen earlier eventually slid down and found its way to the sensitive part between his legs. As he felt my touch grip his shaft, a guttural and sensual grunt escaped Laerad’s throat.

My deity husband kept on surprising me today as after that seductive grunt, he started to gyrate his hips as if hurrying me. It was like telling me that he wants my hand to caress his whole length quickly.

I paused our kiss as I simply stared as his face. His eyes slowly opened and his eyes gave me that intense and amorous stare. His burning gaze was like challenging me and demanding from me to give him more pleasure. That look snapped my last thread of self-control.

I placed my hand back to his lower abdomen and let my mana flow inside, creating a barrier to protect the babies. After I am sure that they are well-protected, I flipped my tease of a husband so that he is lying on his back. The sudden movement made him gasp but that that burning gaze of his never left my face.
