Journey to Planar World

”Phew... I might have gone a bit too far.”

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Charlie felt a pang of guilt as he watched Astraea sleeping soundly in a state of exhaustion.

Under the glow of the lamp, clear traces of passion from the long night were vividly visible across the Goddess of Justice’s body.

Her smooth, porcelain-white skin was now covered in numerous reddish hickeys scattered across several spots. Above her beautiful, perfectly shaped breasts, bite marks could be seen.

Her shapely rear was flushed red from the intense spankings earlier, while her lips appeared slightly swollen from the barrage of kisses they had shared throughout the night.

Charlie stared at his own palms, reflecting on what had just transpired.

”This is the first time I’ve made love with a goddess... The sensation is truly on a whole different level.”

”Compared to a spirit girl like Aishia, a half-spirit like Ais, or humans like Kei and Mahiru... Making love to a goddess is truly so addictive that it feels like you never want to stop.”

”Still, I can’t lose control like that again.”

Engaging in self-reflection so he could exercise more restraint and avoid repeating the same mistake in the future, Charlie picked up his clothes scattered on the floor and began putting them back on.

Before leaving, he gently pulled the blanket up to cover Astraea’s naked body to keep her warm. After ensuring her comfort, Charlie stepped softly out of the room without making a sound.

It was already past midnight by then, and the atmosphere inside the house was utterly silent as the other girls were already fast asleep.

Feeling the need to breathe some fresh air to clear his mind, Charlie walked out to the front porch of the house and sat down.

From behind the fence, he took in the view of Orario City, which remained vibrant even though the day had turned over.

The city lights illuminated the streets, revealing drunken men making merry in various corners of the city, enjoying the night completely oblivious to the monumental change that was soon to come.

*CREAK!*

The sound of door hinges cut through the silence of the night. Charlie glanced toward the source of the noise and found Aishia stepping outside.

The spirit girl’s facial expression was flat and devoid of emotion, a characteristic look that always made it difficult for others to guess what she was actually thinking.

Without uttering a single word, Aishia walked straight over and sat sideways right on Charlie’s lap.

Charlie offered a faint smile, then wrapped both arms around the spirit girl’s slender waist to hug her tightly, enjoying the warmth of her presence amidst the cold Orario night wind.

Aishia leaned part of her weight against Charlie’s chest. Her clear eyes stared straight ahead before she finally spoke up.

”What are you thinking about all by yourself out here, Charlie?”

”I was reflecting on what the power system for all the inhabitants of this world should be like in the future.” Charlie answered honestly, shifting his gaze toward the twinkling lights of Orario City in the distance. ”Tomorrow, all the gods, with a few exceptions, will be forced to return to Heaven. That means the Falna, which has been the foundation of the adventurers’ strength all this time, will become irrelevant.”

Pausing briefly, he gently stroked Aishia’s back.

”This condition is tantamount to throwing the world back into the ancient era.”

”An era where only certain races could inherently use magic from birth, whereas other races required special mediums just to fight.”

”Take the human race, for example, who in the past had to forge contracts with spirits just to borrow a tiny fraction of power.”

”...”

Aishia listened to every word in silence. She did not interrupt or break in, allowing the man to unload the entire burden of thoughts weighing on his mind.

Charlie then lowered his face slightly, looking down at Aishia.

”Among magic, technology, and immortal cultivation... which new power system do you think I should design so that everyone in this world can use it?”

Hearing the question, Aishia showed no hesitation whatsoever. She answered directly in a voice that was calm yet brimming with certainty.

”Magic.”

Charlie raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the spirit girl’s firm resolve.

”Why magic?”

”Everyone in this world has been intimately familiar with the concept of magic from the start, so the adaptation process will be far more natural.” Aishia answered calmly, her gaze deep. ”If you choose technology, it will take a very long time—perhaps centuries—for their scientific knowledge to develop from scratch to reach a stage fit for self-defense.”

”Whereas if you choose to introduce immortal cultivation...”

Aishia shook her head gently, gazing intently into the dark expanse of Orario beyond the fence.

”It will only plunge this world into a far greater and bloodier chaos.”

”After all, the cultivation world always abides by the principle of survival of the fittest—the strong survive and thrive. It is a cruel and utterly lawless world.”

”The social order already established in this world would be smashed to pieces if you were to apply such a system on a massive scale.”

Charlie nodded slightly, digesting Aishia’s spot-on analysis.

His embrace around Aishia’s waist tightened, feeling fortunate to have someone who could offer him such a crystal-clear perspective amidst his doubts.

”All right. Since Aishia says so, this world’s power system will remain centered on magic.”

”However, there still needs to be a significant change from the old system.”

The rigid restriction where every individual was only allowed a maximum of three magic slots for a lifetime was something Charlie deeply disliked.

To him, that old rule was far too constraining and severely limited the potential a person could reach.

Aishia turned her gaze away from the distance, looking closely at Charlie’s face. Her expression remained serene, yet the glint in her eyes reflected sharp intelligence.

”You intend to abolish that three-magic-slot limit entirely, don’t you?” It was as if she could already read the thoughts of the man before her. ”Allowing anyone to learn as much magic as they can personally master.”

Hearing such an accurate guess, Charlie couldn’t suppress a satisfied smile. He leaned his face forward slightly and gently kissed Aishia’s luscious lips for a moment before looking back at her with appreciation.

”Spot on, Aishia.”

”This new power system must no longer restrict an individual’s growth.”

”For a little while, let us take control of destiny and play the role of the new Heavenly Dao for this world.”
