Journey to Planar World

Meanwhile, Charlie was unaware of the anomaly he had caused. Immersed in euphoria, he continued practicing his swordsmanship, which had reached a new realm.

*SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!*

Bursts of white light accompanied each slash that cut through the air.

His slashes surpassed what the naked eye could perceive, a white blur nearly invisible.

They were fast enough to slice through the air with minimal resistance.

*SWOOSH!*

The next moment, a sharp arc of light cleaved the air, leaving a fleeting trail.

”I can go faster.”

As he spoke, Charlie’s figure flickered like white light, appearing and disappearing without disturbing the air or creating wind, moving silently and swiftly with startling speed.

*BZZZZTTT!*

The wooden sword in his hand exploded.

It didn’t truly explode, but it seemed to, as Charlie swung the wooden sword with such terrifying speed that it transformed into countless beams of white light aimed at the empty air before him.

*SWOOSH!*

The sword moved with extraordinary speed, causing the air to burn and emit a scorched smell.

*SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!*

*SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!*

*SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!*

The atmosphere couldn’t withstand his slashes, transforming the white light into a series of countless cuts that surpassed anyone’s observational ability.

In a single breath, Charlie unleashed an unknown number of unrecognizable slashes. These slashes, like his movements and steps, were silent and soundless.

It must be understood that sound is generated by air vibrations, creating waves through collisions. In other words, sound equals dispersed energy, and air resistance arises from this, affecting everyone on the planet as a law of natural physics.

Yet, Charlie had accomplished the impossible.

Thanks to Mind’s Eye, which granted the pinnacle of physical mastery, and Six Eyes, which provided atomic-level energy control, the combination of these powers allowed him to control all the force generated by his actions without wasted effort or dispersed energy.

Thus, all of Charlie’s actions were silent.

His steps didn’t disturb the air.

His slashes produced no excessive sound.

This enabled him to achieve nearly 100% speed and power, surpassing human limits, making every step and slash reach an unmatched level.

Charlie could instantly reach his maximum speed, ignoring acceleration and inertia, allowing his slashes and movements to peak immediately. His actions were either zero or one hundred, extreme in motion or stillness, making his swordsmanship the pinnacle of what a human could achieve, unrivaled by anyone.

This was an extraordinary skill!

A technique that reached a divine realm through human effort!

”Huff…”

Halting his attacks, Charlie let out a long breath, faint vapor visible in the air.

His focus was no longer on the now-shattered wooden sword in his hand but on something imperceptible to the naked eye. Thanks to his Six Eyes, he detected an anomaly in the surrounding space.

”Hm? This… Vacuum cracks? Caused by me?”

Around the area where he trained, he could see a strange phenomenon: invisible cracks splitting the space, like fractured glass but imperceptible. An unintended byproduct of his slashes’ extreme speed, surpassing the limits of natural physics.

*PU-CHI!*

As Charlie reached toward a specific point, almost simultaneously, a cut, as if from an invisible blade, appeared on his wrist, causing it to split and bleed.

Red blood dripped from the small wound, tangible proof of the invisible danger.

”It even pierced the Armor of Fafnir? Terrifying damage…”

Pulling his hand away from the vacuum crack, Charlie drew in a sharp breath. The wound was minor, but the pain was intense.

”So powerful… My swordsmanship can cause vacuum cracks…”

As the one responsible, Charlie understood what was happening.

He could switch between the extreme states of zero and one hundred in motion and stillness, perfectly controlling his power without producing sound. Thus, all his actions were silent and terrifying.

Moreover, the speed and sharpness of his slashes were so extraordinary that they left vacuum cracks in every space they passed through.

In other words, wherever Charlie slashed, countless invisible scars would linger, like hanging scythes.

Touching them was akin to being cut multiple times by an unseen, razor-sharp blade.

”Alright, I’ll name it Soaring Swordsmanship.”

”Unmatched speed! When one’s speed is invincible, weapons and techniques become irrelevant because if the enemy can never catch up to my speed, they’ll be killed before they can even move.”

Thus, Soaring Swordsmanship, destined to become renowned across many Planar Worlds in the future, was born.

Feeling satisfied and realizing further training wouldn’t yield significant results as before, Charlie ended his session.

He carefully walked, avoiding the invisible vacuum cracks. The wound on his wrist had already healed, thanks to his Spirit Arts. His steps led him to the terrace where the women were seated.

”Drink this.”

As Charlie sat down, Aishia silently handed him a glass of cold water.

”Thanks, Aishia. I was thirsty.”

Charlie took the glass and downed its contents in one gulp. The cold water soothed his dry throat, refreshing him.

”That was the most astonishing swordsmanship I’ve ever seen, Charlie. It was so fast I couldn’t even see it clearly.”

It wasn’t flattery; Astraea genuinely thought so.

”I didn’t expect casual training to bring such immense benefits. It can only be said that I was lucky to gain this enlightenment. Otherwise, reaching that realm would still be uncertain.”

Charlie’s sudden surge in strength didn’t make him arrogant. He maintained a humble mindset, recognizing that the gift of Mind’s Eye was more a matter of fate than sheer hard work.

”Onii-chan’s swordsmanship would be even greater if you used me. So, use me when fighting.”

Though her face remained expressionless, Est was clearly displeased that Charlie rarely used her in combat.

”It’s not that I don’t want to use you, Est.” Charlie said with a helpless smile. ”It’s just that few opponents can force me to use the Sacred Sword.”

Est’s power was so immense that using her in ordinary fights felt like firing a cannon at a mouse.

”…”

Est said nothing, only staring at him emotionlessly. Yet, her gaze was more than enough to convey her dissatisfaction.

”Alright, alright, I’ll listen to you.” Charlie relented, raising both hands in surrender.

Under Est’s insistence, Charlie gave in to her wishes. He only hoped to soon encounter a formidable opponent, or he’d feel like a bully using the Sacred Sword against weak foes.
