Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Capítulo 1487: Chapter 1487: Let’s go.

Mo Yuqi was very scared, scared that she might fall for this stinking rogue.

“I’m a bit tired, too much has happened today, I need to rest early.”

“Right, my Qiqi is tired, I have to accompany my Qiqi to rest, let’s do the late-night snack another day,” Qin Yu said with a grin.

Mo Yuqi had a headache, how could there be such a shameless man in this world? You accompanying me to rest? Do I need you to?

“Qin Yu, thank you for today. It’s getting late, so I’ll take my leave. You go have late-night snacks with Miss He.”

“Qiqi, you’re my woman, of course, I’ll accompany you! I trust Miss He wouldn’t like to be a third wheel, right?” Qin Yu wasn’t bothered at all and smiled at He Ruotong.

The corner of He Ruotong’s mouth twitched, “Of course, how could Ruotong be the third wheel of Mr. Qin and Miss Mo? Since Miss Mo wants to rest, I won’t disturb you any further. Miss Mo, Mr. Qin, see you another day.”

He Ruotong turned and left without looking back.

Mo Yuqi had a headache. Qin Yu was like a piece of sticky candy, impossible to beat or scold away! What was even more infuriating was that he held the marriage contract from her grandfather!

“Mr. Mo, shall we?” Diana asked Mo Yuqi with an inquisitive look.

“Back to the office, I need to work.”

If she couldn’t provoke him, she could always avoid him, right?

Mo Yuqi didn’t believe that Qin Yu would have the gall to follow her to the office.

Unfortunately, Mo Yuqi had underestimated just how thick-skinned Qin Yu could be.

Qin Yu glanced at the wall clock; it was already past nine in the evening. He said in a deep voice, “Qiqi, don’t work tonight, your body needs rest.

If there are any outstanding proposals, you could ask Diana to work overtime and help you with them.”

Mo Yuqi cast a sympathetic glance at Diana, “How many files are piled up in the office?”

“Around a dozen,” Diana said, her expression quite interesting. As Mo Yuqi’s personal assistant, she indeed had the duty to work overtime for Mo Yuqi.

“A dozen? That’s a lot… Maybe we should forget it and deal with it together tomorrow,” Mo Yuqi frowned. A dozen files would mean working overtime until the early morning.

Before Diana could nod, Qin Yu hastily interjected, “How can you just let it go? Today’s work must be completed today! Diana, as Qiqi’s personal assistant, you should help relieve her worries.”

“Fine, I’ll work overtime! Mr. Mo, I’ll head off first, let Mr. Qin take you home,” Diana said, turning to leave with a slight smile of relief on her lips.

Qin Yu had won the horse racing championship, not only securing Emperor Group but also gaining Purple Mountain Racetrack.

Diana’s perception of Qin Yu began to change; perhaps, Qin Yu wasn’t that hateful after all.

Mo Yuqi was frustrated. What was Diana thinking? How could she just leave her with Qin Yu? Wasn’t that like a lamb to the slaughter?

Mo Yuqi wanted to call Diana back, but Diana didn’t give her the chance; in the blink of an eye, she had vanished from Mo Yuqi’s sight.

“Qiqi, let’s go,” Qin Yu said, watching Diana leave the office and looking at Mo Yuqi with a cheery smile.

Mo Yuqi said nothing, pouting as she walked toward the office door, while Qin Yu grinned and quickly followed Mo Yuqi’s steps.

Silent and stone-faced, Mo Yuqi headed for the parking lot at the racetrack, with Qin Yu quietly following without uttering a word so as not to annoy her.

“Qiqi, get in the car.”

It wasn’t until they reached the Bentley that Qin Yu finally smiled and opened the passenger door for Mo Yuqi.

Mo Yuqi hesitated for a moment but did not refuse Qin Yu’s gesture and sat in the passenger seat.
