Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 910: Chapter 0910: Helmsman

A few men chuckled, and Su Ziyan shyly lowered her head—who doesn’t like to be praised? Su Ziyan was no exception.

However, Yuqiong’s expression darkened. Even though she had confidence in herself, seeing the rapport between Qin Yu and Su Ziyan made her feel very uncomfortable.

Not good! I can’t admit defeat! Yuqiong suddenly looked up at Zhou Luo, “Uncle Zhou, I heard that the permission for that plot of land in the northern suburbs of Luo City has been approved. Your Luo Shen Group probably can’t handle it all, right?”

“Miss Feng is well-informed. You are right, the northern suburbs land has been approved. We at Luo Shen Group can only handle plots 2 and 3; plots 1, 4, and 5 will be seeking partners for development. Are you interested, Miss Feng?”

“Of course, I am interested in plots 1 and 4.” Yuqiong’s eyes sparkled.

Hearing this, Zhou Luo raised his eyebrows and gave Qin Yu and Su Ziyan a thoughtful look. Seeing Su Ziyan indifferent, Zhou Luo smiled, “What kind of cooperation do you have in mind, Miss Feng?”

“Ahem…” Qin Yu coughed before Yuqiong could speak, and smiled, “Miss Feng, I think that plot 4 does not border your Feng Corporation’s development area. I suggest you consider cooperating with Director Zhou on plots 1 and 5—it would be a better choice.”

Su Ziyan was puzzled. Why did Qin Yu suddenly interrupt? Why would he intervene in the matters of Luo Shen Group and Feng Corporation?

Before Su Ziyan could figure it out, Zhou Luo chuckled, “Master Qin really looks out for his wife!”

This comment confused Su Ziyan even more, leaving her looking baffled at the three, feeling as if she was on a different wavelength from them.

Yuqiong sighed deeply, “Little guy, do you really care that much about Su Ziyan?”

“I almost forgot, plot 4 lies between Su Machinery Factory and Su Apparel Factory. If it were to be developed, Su Group would indeed be most suitable.”

Upon hearing this, Su Ziyan finally understood. So, Qin Yu had intervened for her, for the benefit of Su Group!

If the land between the two major factories of the Su Group were to fall into the hands of the Feng Family, Su Group would face many inconveniences.

“Director Zhou, our Su Group is very interested in plot 4, and we hope you can grant us this opportunity.” Taking a deep breath, Su Ziyan mustered up her courage to look at Zhou Luo.

Zhou Luo smiled, “In principle, given my relationship with Master Qin, plot 4 should indeed go to Su Group. However, as far as I know, Su Group’s current situation isn’t good, even having issues paying worker salaries on time. Are you sure Su Group can come up with two billion yuan?”

Two billion yuan? Su Ziyan’s heart skipped a beat. If she could restructure Su Group, selling some unprofitable projects, they could possibly raise the funds. But her stubborn father wouldn’t agree!

What to do?

Even though she hadn’t figured it out, Su Ziyan still mustered up the courage to say, “Director Zhou, rest assured, our Su Group will definitely have the funds ready.”

“Good! Miss Su, since you’ve agreed so decisively, plot 4 is yours!”

“Thank you, Brother Zhou!”

“Hahaha, no worries, we’re all family here! Let’s continue eating.”

…

In Dragon Country, it is a custom to discuss business over meals, and the dinner lasted until past nine o’clock.

Watching Su Ziyan conversing comfortably with Zhou Luo and following the old-fashioned etiquette, Qin Yu’s face showed a relieved smile.

Initially, Su Ziyan was clearly a bit uncomfortable, but by the middle of the meal, she had adapted to her new role as a helmswoman of Su Group, enjoying her conversation with Zhou Luo immensely.
